This a fantastic option to help make any house a smart home, it works with both normal (dumb) lights and LIFX lights, the ability to use voice assistants is also a great feature. I’ve got multiple LIFX light strips plugged into power points but with the switch you able to control without wiring back to the switch. Only thing is you may need to put your phone into airplane mode to onboard

Not as smooth / simple as advertised Setup was quite tedious and took a long time Especially if two lights were wired to a single switch Can be buggy with some lights connected, however I’m not sure if that is the light (LIFX Dow light as well) however 7/8 (down lights) work consistently. I can’t compare to other smart brands and will connect to a local area network and remove from internet in the future. Due to lag when pressing the buttons and they are activated via wifi. The lag is short, but one of those little things that you notice, every time. Not quite worth the investment yet in my opinion. However I don’t have a recommendation of a better option.

The switch is technically compatible with homekit after a firmware upgrade, the implementation is super confusing. Shows up in Home app as "other" and you cant control each individual switch with Siri. If you want the switch to work with Homekit, I'd wait for them to release a new model that has out of the box support for Homekit.

Awesome product. Even makes products like heated towel racks, exhaust fans etc smart. Sleek finish. Would be cool if there was an option to change the colour in the panels backlighting.
LIFX is a brilliant brand and I expected nothing less than brilliant from this switch. Right now it does not works as well as advertised. The integrations into Google Home and Alexa fail on a regular basis. Voice commands work from both platforms but the toggle buttons are intermittent on both systems. There is no iOS/Homekit integration even through Homebridge. LIFX are promising rectification in Q4 but checking the forums this has been on the cards for nearly 18 months. Not holding my breath. Will have to return these switches.
Have been waiting for this product to become available in Australia for a while. The electrician installed it in the bedroom and it works perfectly. No more falling asleep with the lights on!
Have put this in and now I don't get annoyed with my family for turning off my smart lights at the wall, and more importantly, they don't get annoyed with me for not being able to use a switch like normal people! Another great feature I didn't think about - this controls my extractor fan. My bathroom is now a fresher place.
Great product, looks great in a modern home. Great Features, can be used as part of a smart home. And can also function as a normal light switch. Has a soft glow at night so you don't have to hunt for a light switch in the dark. Requires a neutral wiring to the switch.
Setting up was a bit of frustrating as one is not sure if the process was working or not (no indication of progress esp for that 15 min timeout to reset for HomeKit). Hopefully LIFX will continue to be supported by their new American owners. Aesthetically, it looks very nice esp as one can change the colors of the buttons and adjustable haptic feedback and brightness. The faceplate is smooth and should be easy to clean.
Relies on internet connection. Would not recommend until Lifx gets local protocol working.
