I began crocheting a few months ago, learning from Woobles patterns that I made for my grandkids. My 12 year old granddaughter requested a Mimikyu. Most of the patterns were more complicated....but I took on the challenge. I used Lion's 24/7 yarn after reading the reviews. Even though I was intimidated by it all, I ended up LOVING this yarn! The way it's put together means no splitting or mess. Very easy to work with, and I am very happy with the results! It is a bit smaller than worsted, I believe, but was perfect for this amigurumi project. It has a very lovely slight sheen to it. I will use it again while I tackle more amigurumi items!

The yarn itself is great and all the other colors I’ve received were perfect. However, the “camel” color is not at all similar to the images online which I viewed both on my phone and laptop before purchasing as I’d been shopping for a few days before committing. It looks like a light brown/very dark tan. It is actually a golden copper. Very yellow tones. I can make it work for my purposes as an exact match isn’t critical, but it wasn’t what I was looking for.

super nice yarn. Doesn't split and great stitch definition. If you dont like rough yarns I wouldnt suggest it. Also make sure when getting multiple skeins of the same color to check the dye lots and make sure they are the same. I attached a photo of two skeins that arent from the same dye lot and there is a subtle difference. I dont usually buy cotton yarn but the sale price was too good ($2.99 per skein!)
I purchased this yarn to make a purse because it was the yarn recommended by the pattern. I chose 3 colors- Ecru, Taupe, and Café Au Lait. All of them were good quality, continuous stands with no knots or joins- I loved that! It worked up very nicely. My only complaint would be that the Ecru was ever so slightly thicker, so if gauge had been crucial it might have affected the finished project. I do think this is thinner than a usual worsted weight yarn. I would buy this again for a project requiring cotton yarn.
Pretty yarn but not as soft as I was expecting. It reminds me of hay bail twine but not as rough. With a lot of reviews say this yarn bleeds I worry that mine will bleed together. I got a green and cream color. I'm making a blanket for a friend and I worry that when I wash it the blanket colors will be ruined. I haven't finished it yet I need to buy more unfortunately. I didn't realize how small the skeins here so I bought two of each color. If I can post an update once I'm finished and wash it I will. I hope she likes it. It's going to be a baby blanket but with it not being very soft not sure how nice it will be on baby skin.
This is my second purchase of this trusty 24/7 cotton. It's a great yarn for making crochet bags as it gives you that extra added stiffness and durability needed for certain patterns. Im carrying two colors in my pattern, so it does make the tote bag a bit weighty but my daughter actually likes that aspect of it. Replacing now since her first one got chewed by her new puppy.
Don’t buy from this supposed seller. I have been trying to get my money back or get the rest of the yarn I ordered since October. They don’t respond even when Walmart said they sent messages to them several times. They list 3 packs of lion 24/7 yarn (still listing that way). I ordered 3 3 packs (total of 9 skiens)and only received 3 skiens of yarn. Walmart should kick them off their website. This gives Walmart a bad name. I doubt if this review will make an honest seller out of them. They lack honesty and integrity. I’m not going to give up and let them steal my money. AGAIN DON’T BUY FROM THIS SCAMMER!!

Coasters and so much More.Lion Brand is my first choice for many reasons. It's a nice yarn to work with. Works up easy without freying, many color choices, easy to care for and the "texture & detail" of the product when finished brings my craftsmanship to the next level.
i usually dont like working with cotton yarn and have spent a lot of time and $ trying to find one that i want to use. this yarn is the best cotton i have found! its thicker than many other brands, and sturdy... but soft. glides on my hook smoothly without separating. frogs nicely and holds it shape.... drapes well. nice color selection also! im so happy i found this yarn and am now not afraid to make cotton crochet projects!
