Using more expensive paint makes a WORLD of difference, both in the quality of the colors and the ease of the painting process itself! You get exactly what you pay for. Not to mention, this magenta color is GORGEOUS. Opaque, vibrant, and blends well with other colors.

I’ve Ben pairing for many years and there are times this paint can easily be mistaken for the beautiful results you get in oils. Love the liquitex paint. The design of the tube makes it easy to store. It also has a large cap making the ability to-replace the cap and not worry about it drying up. Import to be able to use every last drop of paint having a soft pliable tube. It’s a professional paint that has proven itself time and time again to excel beyond other brands I’ve used.

I I have been using Liquitex paint for over 40 years. I am a hobby painter. My barnscapes range from 5x7 to 24x30 in size. I find all the liquitex paints perform very well for blocking and glazing. I use liquitex thinning medium for slow drying when I need to blend on canvas. I preferr to use a limited pallet. My paint box consists of the basic colors.
Liquitex Heavy Body Acrylic Paints provide excellent coverage on any surface. I use more Titanium White than any other color because I paint with a lot of tints. If I need to repaint a section with a lighter color, I give that section a couple of coats with Heavy Body Titanium White and it’s opaque enough to cover the underpainting. I stock up on the 4.65 ounce tubes when there’s a “Buy 2, get one free” sale.
Liquitex Heavy Body acrylic paint is far and away my favorite. You can always add a little water or a medium to thin it but no real way to thicken your ordinary acrylic paint. Also, the top is a best seller. I would buy this brand paint for no other reason than the screw on top which goes on easily. Other paint tubes with the small top are annoying. Difficult to screw on especially when paint fills in the cap.
I am an artist and like working with Liquitex and Golden products. Michael's has a great assortment of acrylic paints and other artist products. But, there is so much more I love about Michael's! Michael's reward program is awesome! I often take advantage of great deals on Level 3 canvases and discount coupons. I like the convenience of ordering online and picking up at local store. I think the Michael's employees are the Best! They are always friendly and helpful.
Liquitex is my go-to acrylic brand. I used to only paint with Heavy Body for it's thickness and color saturation. The past few years I've gone more toward fluid acrylics as they've become more available. You can use this as a final layer when you want texture and brush strokes or add mediums to thin the consistency if that's what you like. I'm in love with this line of muted tones and it's available across the brand (the muted ink is good too but the soft body is especially nice). I've gotten a few colors and wish they'd restock more!
I have been painting for less than a year but try to paint daily because I love it. I started with less expensive paint because I didn’t know the difference in paint quality and didn’t want to spend as much money initially. I use better quality paint now and mix it up more based on color availability. I buy lots of Liquitex paint and I really like it. They have great color options (their muted and metallic colors are beautiful), they are less expensive than the other paints I like and the caps are way easier to get off and on. The texture is great and they have great depth of color.
