This is a colourful enamel piece that makes every stove look good. But even more importantly, it's a kitchen multitasker. Use it to broil, braise, bake, or roast in the oven up to 500° F, and sauté, simmer, or fry on any stovetop, as well as to marinate and refrigerate food. Stainless steel knob and loop handles for great control.

This Lodge dutch oven meets all my expectations! I loved it as soon as I took it out of the box! The shape & color of the pot are so pretty and the quality is apparent. Even before I cooked that bomb chili in it. I'm actually very proud of it. The expense is well worth it but I got a fab deal during Way Days. I was unsure of what size to get because I need it small enough for just me but also big enough for leftovers or company. I bought the 4.5 qt size and it's perfect. I couldn't be happier & highly recommend it!

Loved it! I use this every week to bake sourdough. They come out even every time! Very durable and farmhouse looking. It’s on the heavier side but that expected for cast iron. I will purchase another!

I bought this to replace a very well known Dutch oven brand that was accidentally broken at a cookout. I haven’t had an opportunity to use it yet, but in my opinion it looks feels every bit as nice as the other one, but much less expensive. I love the red, again looks much like that other brand. It really doesn’t match anything in my kitchen, but it’s so pretty I’m considering saying to heck with color leave it on my stove top. I’m pretty fussy about things like that so for me to even think about it you know it’s pretty. First time buying anything from Lodge, but doubt it will be my last.

Only used this Dutch Oven twice, in the oven once then gas stove top. Holds a large meal and stays hot/warm through the duration of the meal. The enamel was easy to clean but the weight may be challenging for some people. I placed towels on the counter to prevent chipping or scratching the granite counter. The weight also makes sliding the Dutch Oven into the oven a bit tricky. The weight is not a surprise as I own other cast iron pans however the size and weight requires the bottom shelf of the fridge. I moved the leftovers into containers instead. I like this Dutch Oven overall but my wife prefers a multilayer stock pot for its weight but cost a bit more.

I am glad I finally bought it. I wasn't sure if I really need it and if it will be a pain to clean and take care of it. It appears it is very good for me when it comes to cooking in the oven and is not hard to maintain (read the manual that comes with the pot). I specifically mentioned "cooking in the oven" before because when it comes to cooking on the stove I don't really see the difference (in my case sometimes it is even worse) then in a regular pan/pot, so except the fact it takes longer and consumes more power, I do not see the benefit in this case. We also bake bread in it, I didn't even realize how nice it is not to bother with a water pan anymore - you just put bread in it, close/open the lid as needed and that's it. Also, what is very important to me, the food doesn't stick that much as I expected. I thought it will require much more oil, but actually it doesn't, maybe just a little bit more than usual works ok for me (and I don't eat oily food).I took the red one, 6 quarts. It is big enough (I bake a whole chicken in it without problem) and it looks nice (gives me a cosy feeling). Delivered as scheduled, very good packed, no chips (thanks Wayfair!).

I have a 7.5 qt enameled cast iron dutch oven and a 3 qt dutch oven. I needed something middle sized. This 6qt one is the perfect size. I couldn't wait to receive the pot since we are staying home more now, which means more home cooking. The pot arrived 3 days after I placed the order! It came in original packaging plus extra protection (box inside of box, inside padding, inside of a 3rd box). I was eager to try a new chicken biryani recipe and it came out beautifully. Easy peasy to clean too. I don't see any difference between this and the much more expensive designer brands. I actually like the slightly rounded bottom better. Easier for sautéing. The ombre style blue color is beautiful. Love love love my new pot!

In a side by side comparison the The Lodge's capacity is 6 qt vs Le Creuset 6-3/4 qt. Lodges porcelain finish is not as smooth, it has more orange peel compared to Le Creuset both inside and out. Both have fairly large handles and I actually preferred the handles on the Lodge compared to the Le Creuset a little more room for larger hands. Le Creuset had straighter sides which added a little more cooking surface on the bottom of the pot compared to the Lodge which had a more curved side reducing the overall cooking surface slightly so you may have to sear more batches. The Lodge Dutch oven had a more domed lid compared to the Le Creuset which had a flatter lid. As you can tell from my comparison it was more nit picking then anything else when comparing the two. While the Lodge is not a Le Creuset in it's fit and finish it is also 5 times less expensive and performs just as well in my opinion. You can't go wrong with the Lodge porcelain enamel dutch oven.

So nice. For soup sauté my veggies then just add everything to the same pan. Really great for a one pot meal. Cleans up so nicely. Of course the downside is how heavy it is… but so worth it. I do recommend to everyone

This is a great value for a cast iron coated pot of this size. There are so many things to love about this Dutch Oven. It's a heavy pot (13lbs) and a great size for preparing large meals. It's versatile and can be used on the stove top and in the oven. Having two handles makes it preferable to a skillet because it's much easier to lift cast iron products using both hands. Words of warning, make sure to use hot mitts for the lids and handles because they are hot! I had never cooked/owned cast iron and had heard great things. I was not disappointed at all. This pot heats evenly and the enamel coating make is super easy to clean. All of our cooking utensils are plastic or rubber so I don't have to worry about scratching the finish. I like that it does not use the non-stick coating that can flake off. The Dutch Oven will also keep your food warm for a long time without having to be reheated. I love the color, too. It is a bright blue that looks great on the stove top and the table.
