On the whole a decent controller. Slightly heavier than my original xbox 360 controller, and the stick placement is different. The ergonomics of the xbox 360 controller are slightly better in my opinion. Build quality is OK - however the battery case cover tends to rattle a bit and the D-pad can rattle a little as well. The sticks are good but also seem to have a rather large dead band which makes precision movements more difficult.There is textured plastic in places that make gripping the controller easier. The wireless works well enough although it can suffer a bit at range. Logitech provides an handy USB extension cable which I have used to position the dongle right underneath my desk and very close to the controller. After years of use and abuse, my F510's left stick finishing came apart and now feels weird in the hand, so I decided to give wireless a go. Reading the multiple reviews stating problems with windows 10, I decided to give it a go and see what all the problems are, I am a systems admin by trade after all... low and behold, I plugged in the nano receiver to a front usb, removed the battery sticker and the remote was up and playing madden 21 (yes, I know) within seconds. No problems with windows 10, shows right up under devices. Now the one issue I had to tackle, the range... AWFUL! I am literally seated two feet away and at same height from my gaming pc box, with the receiver in the front and this thing lags, doesn't recognize most double clicks and drops connection, that's just piss poor. I finally figured out what the usb wire extender was in the box for, lol. I ran the extender from the box, under my keyboard and directly in front of me with the nano receiver on it, now BAM remote is no longer laggy and behaves just like the F510, except heavier (rechargeable batteries help out alot here instead of the included duracells) and without the wires and with much weaker vibration. Almost perfect! Not good for small hands!

I needed a solid controller to replace one that stopped working randomly and this did the trick. It’s actually a really great value controller and I haven’t had any problems with the wireless on Windows 10 or with other Logitech products. Be warned though that this controller kind of has a weird shape that some people will find uncomfortable, especially if you have small hands. If you have small hands you probably don’t want to bother with this one because you’ll just get cramps using it. The edges of the controller are angled really sharply which makes the stretch to reach the sticks longer than on most other controllers. I can make it work but have to hold the controller a little weird to reach the triggers and sticks at the same time. The buttons all feel great (though the bottom triggers could be more clicky) and the texture of the controller is actually really nice. It doesn’t work with all Steam games but it does work with most of them from my experience so far.

Good Gamepad, but...

I could not get it to function properly with my Windows 10 Laptop. I think I'm missing drivers so I returned it to B&H, no problem. I purchased another wireless generic gamepad from another site that worked. At the time of purchase, B&H was out of stock of other gamepad, now they have many different gamepads.I originally brought the Logitech G F310 wired gamepad and was impressed with Logitechs quality. Maybe it will work for you. Nice controller.

First off, this is not the best gamepad out there. The D-pad is a little wobbly and I'm not a fan of the extra pressure required for the throttle buttons. It IS however, a great deal at $30-$35.The overall quality is good for the price and it has good tactile buttons on it. The analog sticks are decent, though at times it can be a little difficult to get precision ups/downs and lefts/rights without hitting another axis by mistake.It's about as cheap as you will get for a decent controller that is wireless and has rumble. It also has decent compatibility with most games out there. Just make sure you aware that it is NOT rechargeable and you will need aftermarket rechargeable batteries for it if you want that capability.Overall, I'd give it 7.5/10. I usually like Logitech. Never a problem. This is the first product I'm not happy with in the decades I have bought the brand. I run Windows 10 Pro. New clean install. The controller will not stay connected after PC restart. I have went to Logitech website to download the driver. However, it's more of a tiny written program just telling you to take out 1 battery and unplug the USB dongle. Then plug it back in and put the battery back in within 30 seconds. Sure .. it then connects, but each time I restart the PC, I need to go through these steps again. I don't like that it's not rechargeable. But that's my fault for usuming the WIRELESS controller was USB chargable and could get wired in if needed. It's not. I did have a bit of steering issues in a race car game, but I'm writing this review directly after playing the game and can't fairly judge it for that at moment. Could just be something simple. Overall, I'd send it back for the connectivity issues, but that's too much trouble to do considering the small amount I paid. Not worth my time. Probably sell it for cheap to a friend. I'll just get one of those eX thingy controllers... Can't mention the name here, I'm sure. Those never gave me an issue in the past with other PC's I've built. Over all, If you don't mind buying batteries vs using a USB to charge, which this doesn't, and you don't mind reconnecting every PC restart, go for it. On the other hand, if you're like me, just find a better controller. The latest console games have controllers that are compatible with PC as well. They might be a bit more expensive, but sometimes you can find good deals on them.

My Logitech F710 Wireless Gamepad Review

I needed a game controller for a few Sports games that I purchased for my PC. I have always had good luck with Logitech products, so I purchased this controller. I received it in only three days and immediately unpacked it and put it to the test. The controller is comfortable to hold, and the response time is fantastic. It's fully configurable, so the buttons can be set to what the user wants them to do. After some time spent using this controller, I was happy that I took a chance with this one instead of dropping three times the money on another brand. I recommend this controller for anyone looking for a product that does it all and at a good price.

Really performs under pressure!

So full disclosure, I didn't buy this, I found it second hand while on active deployment in the North Atlantic Ocean. We'd been at sea for over a month before we got a strange callout to this search and rescue zone for a commercial fibreglass vessel. My recent expedition to explore the Titanic wreckage turned into a nightmare, largely due to the Logitech F710 controller. Unfortunately, this controller completely ruined my experience. From the moment we submerged, it became clear that only the down button was functional, severely limiting our ability to navigate. As if that weren't bad enough, the controller frequently disconnected from the submarine, leaving us lost in the abyss.To make matters worse, our situation is dire. We have a mere 10 hours of oxygen remaining, and the lack of control exacerbates the sense of helplessness.
