Wireless range allows me to walk anywhere in the house and for a walk down the driveway.Dolby Access and DTS Sound Unbound I had purchased prior all recognise these and DTX and Dolby Atmos tests work perfect.Absolutely recommended at this price for gaming and even for movies and music. Known for enduring value and quality, Logitech has always been my recommended brand to friends and family alike. With the meteoric rise of the popularity of eSports streaming and broadcasting, it was only a matter of time before peripheral manufacturers like Logitech stepped up their offerings with products catering to serious gamers and prosumers alike. The new Logitech PRO X 2 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Headset is a premium device with higher-spec components than Logitech usually offers in the space - most notably, larger drivers made with graphene that promise to deliver top-tier sound reproduction for crystal clear audio even during the most heated moments of any competitive match. Logitech’s combination of quality design & construction, matched to driver software that’s refreshingly intuitive and meaningful, delivers an exceptional gaming headset that will last for years to come.An important note - though compatible with game consoles, I tested this headset exclusively on Windows 10 and 11 PCs. Your experience may vary on other devices.- Unboxing and SetupWith little more than mandatory disclosures and a warranty information pamphlet inside the box, Logitech leaves all setup instructions on the flaps inside the packaging. While clever, it only covers the basic setup instructions for PC or console and doesn’t overview all the headset’s functions. Thankfully the headset has only a few labeled buttons that are easy to interpret. The headset will immediately connect to the included USB receiver, but can also be paired via Bluetooth Low Latency for a fully wireless, dongle-free setup with your PC, phone, or supported game console.Logitech includes a smattering of accessories with the headset, including the aforementioned USB receiver for instant setup, a branded neoprene carrying case, USB-C <> USB-C cable for charging and connectivity, a 3.5mm headset cable for fully lossless audio, and an alternative set of ear pads with cloth for those who prefer this material to the preinstalled leather pads - myself included. Switching between the two is easy as the pads clamp elastically to the headset. One nice touch is that Logitech’s product safety guide includes instructions on how to remove the lithium-ion battery, which can be accessed and disconnected without the use of any special tools. While intended for recycling purposes, this also indicates that the battery is user-replaceable, extending the life of the headset by many years.- Build Quality, Comfort, Ease of UseHere’s where the surprisingly high cost of the headset stacks up. Logitech pulled no punches in making a premium, almost luxurious piece of gear for everyday gamers, eSports professionals, and prosumers alike. At 340g (approximately 12 ounces), the brushed-metal-framed headset isn’t the lightest out there, but the weight feels very well-distributed and sits on the head with little sensation of extra heft. The leather-padded headstrap is soft and comfortable, and the adjustment range for ear height is absolutely massive. With a large, 24” circumference head (measured at the brow), I found the fourth-tallest setting (6 steps out of 10) to be ideal. This headset will almost assuredly adjust to fit your head without issue.Designed as an over-ear headset, the ear pad cups are similarly spacious and envelop my larger ears with plenty of room to spare. The clamping force is about par for course, maybe only a smidge higher than I’d like on the lower back side near the lobes, but after a few weeks of regular use I’m sure the foam in the ear pads will compress some. Not that this is a major issue - the headset is still extremely comfortable to wear, and I can go hours at a time without discomfort. The hinge joints that allow the ear cups to rotate flat for storage feel solid, if not as smooth as I was expecting for such a premium-aligned headset, but don’t raise any concern. There are only 4 physical controls on the headset - the power slider, an infinite-scroll volume dial, a mic toggle, and a Bluetooth sync button. These are all on the left ear of the headset and easily differentiated by your thumb as they have different textures, and the spacing is very good. The Bluetooth button is furthest forward and quite distant from the headset mute button - I only hit this by accident and inadvertently activated pairing mode mid-game once early on. After less than a minute familiarizing yourself with the button locations you’ll be good to go.- Sound & Mic QualityBoasting 50mm, graphene-based dynamic drivers - larger than the standard fare 40mm ones you find in most other Logitech headsets - I was expecting a deep bass response but found the headset’s “flat” setting (the default without using Logitech G Hub to adjust the equalizer - more on this later) to be surprisingly weak in this area. While bass is punchy, there didn’t seem to be too much of it to go around at first. That said, mids and highs come through exceedingly crisp and clear, which is perfect for voice chat and listening for in-game sounds that could tip you off to your enemies’ movements. The sound stage (perceived distance between leftmost- and rightmost-panned sounds) is a bit narrow, but this is typical of most closed-back headphones like the X 2 LIGHTSPEED. The tradeoff is that sound leakage is fairly low even with the cloth pads - it’s not completely inaudible, but it’s well-muffled otherwise.Microphone quality is good, if a bit lacking in depth. When run wirelessly, voice chat takes on a bit of a telephone (albeit a very good telephone) quality, with my voice lacking warmth and richness I found using other headsets. However, the sound is still exceptionally clear and there won’t be any instance where the microphone quality impedes your teammates’ or other call participants’ ability to understand what you said. A dedicated cardioid or similar streaming microphone will deliver better results, but unless you need top-tier voice quality for production purposes the X 2 LIGHTSPEED’s microphone will be plenty suitable.A dedicated hardware mute button is a fantastic touch - and it’s a physical toggle button that is depressed when the mic is hot. Audio cues in-headset confirm the mute is on or off (as well as the power LED flashing either green or red, respectively).- Range & Battery LifeThe range of these headphones is excellent. Across multiple floors and trying to introduce worst-case scenarios inside my home, I couldn’t find any situation where the headset lost connection to my computer or phone at the extreme opposite end of the house. After about 50 feet through 3 floors I noticed a little bit of stutter, but in any real-world use case I saw no issues.Battery life is absolutely fantastic. After 4 hours of continuous gaming with friends, the headset lost just 10% of its charge (as reported by the Logitech G Hub app). I expect that Logitech’s 50 hour runtime is fairly accurate - I just didn’t have enough time to verify the full range before posting this review! The X 2 also recharges quickly, going from about 50% charge to full in just a hair over 30 minutes.- Logitech G HubIf the flat bass response and “it’s fine” microphone quality were the end of the story, I wouldn’t have rated this headset so highly. Indeed, we’re in an era where the software is just as important as the hardware, and despite some initial disdain at the size and need to have companion software to get the best results, Logitech’s G Hub software truly fills in all the headset’s shortcomings.Starting with sound quality, a 5-band equalizer allows you to make basic adjustments to the frequency response. The post-processing here is excellent, with small changes to each frequency slider working exactly as I would expect. I found that slightly raising the bass while lowering higher frequencies gave the best overall experience - any reduction in sound volume resulting from reducing mids and highs was counteracted by simply cranking the headset’s volume dial higher. As for the mic, Logitech’s purchase of the Blue Microphones company has led to the inclusion of Blue-branded post-processing in the G Hub app. With about two dozen sound profiles to pick from, and plenty of customization available to adjust filtering, pitch, reverb, and more, the app meaningfully changes the way your voice carries through to the other end of the line. The “Broadcaster” presets are my preferred options - they remove all of the weakness in your voice coming through the mic and sound a lot more like sitting directly in front of a quality Blue cardioid microphone. Though maybe a bit overboosted, the settings are easy to tweak, and in any case the post-processing restores much of the lost warmth and bravado without needing to change anything in your existing apps. A stellar showing all through.I understand not everyone is comfortable running background software to get the full experience, and indeed this is a PC-specific feature that goes missing on consoles. But the change in sound quality is so significant, and the CPU impact so opposingly insignificant, that for once I do suggest running the Logitech G Hub companion software in the background - something I haven’t said of any PC peripheral in years. It makes that much of a difference.- Bottom LineMy last Logitech headset served me well for nearly a decade, and I’m expecting the PRO X 2 LIGHTSPEED to be my main for just as long. It'swonderful to wear, delivers exceptional sound, has an incredible battery life, and the optional G Hub software is excellent. Any further criticisms I could level would be nitpicky, and certainly don’t detract from the premium experience Logitech created here. Though a bit pricey at a $249 MSRP, the complete package is worth the price of admission for a high-end headset to last. Highly recommended!

So I've had this headset since about June 2023 and the sound quality out of these is phenomenal. I mainly use it with PC and I've used with and without the microphone (I wound up digging out my XLR mic) but when i did use the included microphone I RARELY ever had any issues with it and had no complaints of echoing or static.Using this headset with G Hub is a must for firmware and software customization. The software can be used to control sound (equalizers, sound effects, mic gain, noise suppression/passthroughs and much more)Now for the big one: Using with Xbox. I know Xbox usage isn't listed nor showing as supported, However....I bought a Xbox series s recently along with the Turtle Beach Headset Audio Controller so I could play some games with my Xbox ... MoreSo I've had this headset since about June 2023 and the sound quality out of these is phenomenal. I know Xbox usage isn't listed nor showing as supported, However....I bought a Xbox series s recently along with the Turtle Beach Headset Audio Controller so I could play some games with my Xbox buddies that are not available for cross platform play. Now in theory you could just plug the headset in with with the 3.5mm aux cord into the xbox controller and use the integrated party audio settings to adjust things as needed but personally I wanted more control at my fingers tips so i opted for the audio controller but also for testing purposes of seeing if this headset would actually work with xbox. With all that said, I joined a party with my friends using the TB audio controller attached to the controller itself and plugged in my headset via aux cord and was absolutely able to use the headset and control the independent volumes on my xbox with no problem at all. In the party of roughly about 7-8 people I had no complaints of echoing, static, low voice, intermittent connectivity, etc etc. I definitely wanted to write this review mainly for xbox people so they know they can use it with it, but only with the method as stated above.I've included the link to the audio controller for anyone interested in it: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/turtle-beach-headset-audio-controller-plus-for-xbox-one-xbox-series-xs-black/5549000.p?skuId=5549000

I recently purchased the Logitech Tech Pro X 2 headset, and unfortunately, it falls short of expectations. The price tag suggests a premium experience, but the overall performance and build quality do not justify the cost.I think if they were priced at $160.00 maybe $170.00, they would be worth it. I also think at that price they would be flying off the shelf . My comparisons were astro A30s,A40s,A50s SteelSeries Arctis pros , Turtle beach stealth , JLB 910P ,Corsair Virtuoso xt, LucidSound LS41. Surprisingly some of the best sounding headsets were JBL 910P & Corsair Virtuoso xt, Astros. The Corsair Virtuoso xt & LucidSound LS41 were built very well. You can find several of these brands new mark down on ebay for half the price . $249.99 + TAX I just didn't see ... MoreI recently purchased the Logitech Tech Pro X 2 headset, and unfortunately, it falls short of expectations. Dear, Logitech drop the price and you will see your sales go up . If you do your research on gaming headset sales in this price range, you will see these are not flying off the shelf. The sound quality is good at best, lacking the depth and clarity expected from a headset in this price range. Additionally, the comfort level is subpar; the ear cups feel uncomfortable after prolonged use, and the adjustable headband doesn't provide a snug fit. Moreover, the build feels good but not great, and the materials used don't exude durability. It's disheartening to invest in a supposedly high-end headset only to be met with a product that feels like it won't withstand regular use.Considering the competitive market for gaming headsets, I cannot recommend the Logitech Pro X 2 at its current price. There are more reliable options available that offer better performance and value for money.
Off the rip, these were a good replacement to my Astro A50 Gen 4s that I figured I should retire after three years. The biggest downside that I had with the Astro's was the very buggy base station that wouldn't always connect to the Xbox or PC whenever I switched them. That's no longer an issue since the PC dongle is strictly on my PC where the Xbox is connected via 3.5mm cable. Even then, I don't have to go behind my setup to change the input cable which was the biggest hassle. The switching between systems is so easy. When I want to go wireless, I simply disconnect the cable, and mic then switch the headset on. Then do the opposite if I'm connecing it to my Xbox. The biggest (smallest) issue I have is that the mic has to be removed, I wish it was retractable or ... MoreOff the rip, these were a good replacement to my Astro A50 Gen 4s that I figured I should retire after three years. Then do the opposite if I'm connecing it to my Xbox. The biggest (smallest) issue I have is that the mic has to be removed, I wish it was retractable or can be pushed up like the Astros. This way, I don't have to worry about what mic is being used on my PC since I have a desk mic or disconnect, connect, disconnect, connect everytime I switch systems.Overall, I would recommend these as the set up was extremely simple. I plan on setting up the bluetooth to other devices soon since it also has bluetooth capabilities.I don't see any issues with the sound. I understand how out of the box it can be a bit muffled in the mids as other reviews say, but if you change your EQ to a pre built FPS one available in G Hub it drastically changes this.I can finally hear footsteps, and I feel that I can feel them a bit more clearly than what I was able to with the Astro's.
My previous headset was the Pro X Wireless 1 which I believed was a great headset and this is much of the same with some improvements that made me switch.Pros:First off, the bass is much stronger out of the box and you can further tune it to your liking. My favorite feature is the ability to switch between the USB dongle and bluetooth connection with the press of a button. Super convenient (with a small caveat*).Also a minor upgrade is the ability to rotate the earcups so you can wear them flat around your neck/chest instead of them being uncomfortable to wear there. The battery life is still great. I use it for up to 12 hours a day sometimes and it never dies.Headset strap and ear pads are just as comfortable, though I will note that you have to wear them ... MoreMy previous headset was the Pro X Wireless 1 which I believed was a great headset and this is much of the same with some improvements that made me switch.Pros:First off, the bass is much stronger out of the box and you can further tune it to your liking. My favorite feature is the ability to switch between the USB dongle and bluetooth connection with the press of a button. (At least for the memory foam leatherette pads)Good set of accessories.Cons:The equalizer has a more limited range than I would like. It maxes out at 6600Hz despite the headset being able to produce up to 20KHz. This gets annoying for me for certain TV shows where there's a super high pitch in the background noise that I can't tune out through the EQ. (This could be fixed by a future software update). As for the bluetooth, the caveat is that it sometimes just disconnects during use after automatic pairing. I usually just hold the pairing button down, reconnect, and it's back up. But it can be annoying every so often. Conclusion:I definitely would recommend this headset if you're looking for wireless. I think the pros outweigh the cons, but if you aren't as interested in bluetooth then the Pro X Wireless 1's are great as well.
When looking for a wireless headset, I'm only interested in battery life, comfort, sound, and connection. The battery life is unbelievable on these, my wife used the for 2 weeks and they went from 100% to 93%! They also charge very quickly as well. As far as I'm concerned, nothing else matters if your wireless headset is always tied to a wire, so I'm happy to say that these are a 100/10 on battery life. When looking at comfort, there's no way I'd stick to any headset if they're not comfortable. I'm happy to say that these are extremely comfortable and surprisingly lightweight, without having too much clamping force. They also come with both leather and a cloth set of ear pads. My wife is extremely picky with how headsets feel because of her glasses and she loved ... MoreWhen looking for a wireless headset, I'm only interested in battery life, comfort, sound, and connection. The battery life is unbelievable on these, my wife used the for 2 weeks and they went from 100% to 93%! I'm happy to say that these are extremely comfortable and surprisingly lightweight, without having too much clamping force. They also come with both leather and a cloth set of ear pads. My wife is extremely picky with how headsets feel because of her glasses and she loved them!Without hesitation, this is the best sounding wireless headset I've tried out of the box and without EQ. They're not only displaying a full sound, but they definitely have a separate sound stage for highs, mods, and lows. Add the software to add a little more bass (bass preset, +2 dB) and these are amazing. As far as I can tell, no connection problems EXCEPT when I first used them and had to update the firmware. After the initial updates and software setup, the connection has had 0 issues.**I will say that if you have a stand alone mic (not using the headset one) then make sure you keep the headphones as an "allowed device", but doesn't have to be the default input device. If you're like me, and you like to get rid of clutter, you'd want to just remove any mic from windows except the stand alone one, but this will mess with the software and make the device "disabled" until you turn on the mic as an "allowed device" again. IF ALL THIS MAKES NO SENSE, then just disregard because you probably don't remove different input/output sources on your windows sounds settings. Just keep it as is!Honestly, no complaints here except that you can't use any third party spatial sound via windows on them. If you have something like Dolby Access or even like the windows sonic for headphones, you can't use those on these. They have their own surround sound option in the software that you have to toggle on, but IT IS GARBAGE. Honestly makes them sound horrible. Out of the box with a slight EQ adjust (via software) makes these sound amazing, one of the best. But do not use the surround sound in the software!!! (my opinion)Another small thing, but definitely not a deal breaker, is the Bluetooth compatibility. Basically, you can only choose between dongle mode OR Bluetooth mode. These cannot play both sounds, like other headsets.250 is a fair price but I would love to see them at 200 only because you can't use other spatial sounds software, and the Bluetooth situation is pointless unless you're on mobile/switch. If they had it where you could play Bluetooth and the dongle sound at the same time, I'd honestly be ok at 250.
Wow, where do I start? let me just start off by saying this is absolutely an amazing headset. I was a little skeptical seeing the reviews for the mic quality that was one of the things that a lot of people were saying was not that great. I can’t speak for other platforms, but I can say at least on PlayStation the mic does not sound that bad my family members can hear me when playing games perfectly fine as for comfort that is the most important thing for me in a headset and these things deliver. They’re a little on the heavier side but comfort is top-notch. I’ve had a few six hour sessions in the few days that I’ve owned these things and let me say my ears feel amazing after using these no redness, no hotness nothing absolutely awesome comfort level. As for sound they sound just like any premium headset I’ve ever owned. Nice clarity just the right amount of base not over muddy amount and they get plenty loud. I’m no audio file expert but they sound great to me. What sounds good to me though might not sound good to somebody else but these things deliver on sound quality. and I definitely have to talk about the build these things are beautiful. They have a nice well-built structure and they’re just absolutely stunning to look at. I get excited putting these things on and jamming out with them. Overall, I would highly recommend this if you’re looking for a very comfortable, well built great sounding headset 10 out of 10 .
This gaming headset touches all the bases in the most perfect ways!I have had many many headsets over the years and after using this one for just 2 months this one is already in my top 2, if not top 1 for gaming headsets.A super comfortable headset that can be worn for as long as you need without any discomfort, in personal experience I’ve had the headset on for 12 hours at once without experiencing any discomfort on my ears, on the top of my head from the headband or felt heavy from the weight of the headset.Extremely comfortable, extremely light weight.Perfect wireless connectivity with the options to connect with the included USB or even through Bluetooth. The power switch on the headset might be one of my favorite features on this headset that I have not ... MoreThis gaming headset touches all the bases in the most perfect ways!I have had many many headsets over the years and after using this one for just 2 months this one is already in my top 2, if not top 1 for gaming headsets.A super comfortable headset that can be worn for as long as you need without any discomfort, in personal experience I’ve had the headset on for 12 hours at once without experiencing any discomfort on my ears, on the top of my head from the headband or felt heavy from the weight of the headset.Extremely comfortable, extremely light weight.Perfect wireless connectivity with the options to connect with the included USB or even through Bluetooth. The power switch on the headset might be one of my favorite features on this headset that I have not seen in another wireless headset. Instead of holding down a power button for a random amount of time, waiting to hear the power down sound effect, you can simply flip a switch from on to off, quickly and easily. The lifespan on the battery is another impressive feature of the headset given how light weight it is. I’ve used this headset for at least 4 hours a day, every other day, for 2 months and have only had to charge it twice!! When it needs to be charged it charges to full battery very quickly with my headset only requiring about 1-2 hours to fully charge and it can still be used while being charged.Overall amazing headset, have nothing to complain about, only amazing things to talk about with this headset with all of its perfected features.
I tried the 1.0 version and it wasn’t necessarily bad, but right out the gate I knew it was lacking in surround sound, rich sound, and microphone quality. I’m no audiophile, but I’ve used expensive headphones so I’m accustomed to what is a good sounding headset and what’s not. Main reason I was buying this was mainly just for a more sensitive microphone that outputs my voice louder for others. And this did just that, in fact it probably was even a smidge too loud. I came from a wireless Corsair headset that had good sound and actually a better sounding microphone than this one, but the huge drawback was that it was barely picking up my voice. I would also sound extremely quiet to everyone else so it didn’t matter if it sounded almost studio quality if my voice isn’t ... MoreI tried the 1.0 version and it wasn’t necessarily bad, but right out the gate I knew it was lacking in surround sound, rich sound, and microphone quality. I would also sound extremely quiet to everyone else so it didn’t matter if it sounded almost studio quality if my voice isn’t picked up. This headset comes with Blue software that really does improve your overall sound. It’s not external microphone quality but the options that you can tweak yourself makes up for it because you can adjust the way your voice sounds to others. The richness in sound is also extremely well made here. The higher quality drivers can be heard immediately and I also really like the suction fit it has on your ears so it mimics noise cancellation. I give it a 6.5/10 in terms of canceling out background voices and noise. It’s impressive for it using actual active noise cancellation. I wear glasses as well and I’m happy to report that they fit comfortably on this headset while gaming for hours. It’s also very comfortable to wear for hours on end as well. You can obviously feel it on your head but it has never made my ears or head feel sore or in pain. And that’s even with a 6-8 hours of wearing it through the day. Microphone is adjustable somewhat, I do wish it was longer but then again it picks up my voice mighty loud already so I guess there’s no need for that. You get a lot in the package as well. Lots of premium goodies like a premium bag for carrying and a different pair of cups so you can choose which ones fits your style better. Third party sellers also sell extra hearing cups for an affordable price and they’re easy to replace. They last a good extra 20-30 hours compared to the first versions and everything is just so much better. I just recently switched over to Logitech after using Corsair, hyper X, red dragon, and razer for years and I’m impressed so far. Their products really last.
