Is everything horrible about this headset? No.... but that's not the way you want your product's review to begin either. I would say the only 2 things this headset has going for it is that it's wireless, and the product genuinely feels pretty comfortable to wear. Unfortunately there's simply a lot of annoyances that make the 100+ price tag not worth it. The cool lighting? It's on the rear of the headset so exactly 0 people will ever see it. The mic? It randomly decides to not turn on so you should make sure you have an additional one nearby. Also, every time you want to use the headset, you have to manually open your sound settings and chose the headset as your audio output source. Then when you're done you have to do the exact opposite. They were even comfortable. The reason I can never recommend these absolutely putrid, vile, insulting, horrible pieces of garbage, is because it breaks. I looked into it. Additionally, when I'm wearing it when it's plugged in, I occasionally hear a light buzzing/whining sound in the left speaker. This only happens if I dare move my head while wearing it, and I presume it's the micro-usb connection being loose and causing some electrical feedback. That was something I could just deal with, since the headset itself was actually working properly. Until the last few days. The right speaker has stopped working completely. There were no signs that it was dying (like crackly sound, or fading sound), just that it worked one day and then the next it wasn't.Dunno what's happened with Logitech lately, but their products have really gone down hill.Should've learned my lesson with the wired version of this headset (635) that I tossed due to the micro-usb connection. But now I have, and until Logitech switches to USB C, I unfortunately will be looking at other brands, and encourage all others to do the same.

After 2 years with my g933, I replaced it with this. That was a horrible mistake, from the get-go this headset had issues with both the software, and hardware. The software has to be open 24/7 to have access to surround sound, keeping the lights on reduces the battery life to around 3 hours, and a couple months ago it started to have microphone issues. Those issues were manageable, just had to disable and re-enable the device for it to work again. However even more recently, the right earphone started to go out. Initially light percussive maintenance would fix the issue, tapping the earphone with a finger. Now that doesn't work, the headset started going very quiet, and sounding very far away, and as of today, less than a year after purchase, it's right earphone is ... MoreAfter 2 years with my g933, I replaced it with this. No sound at all, doesn't matter if its wired in or wireless, where the wireless receiver is plugged in, or anything. It was a comfortable headset but its made of cheap plastic, and has a terrible lifespan, and annoying software.

I started out loving the Headset. It was as simple as plugging in the USB dongle and My gaming PC loaded the drivers without any issues, they sounded great. The FM connection gave me better range than the Bluetooth headset I had before. I also liked it did not have the same delay that drove me crazy when trying to watch movies with my Bluetooth set before and the audio not matching the lips. After installing G Hub, I activated the 7.1surround sound, giving great immersion into streaming movies and games, especially situational awareness in FPS. Although it allows for great customization of audio and RGB of the unit, I primarily kept it to the presets with great success. After going over the great parts of the headset, here comes the issues. Although it allows for great customization of audio and RGB of the unit, I primarily kept it to the presets with great success. After going over the great parts of the headset, here comes the issues. After less than a year of use, though maybe more that average given Covid, the unit started having issues. At first, after about 10 months, the microphone would stop unmuting in discord. Lifting the Microphone up mutes the mic just fine but when putting it down unmuted it fine in the past, discord did not detect an input. Disabling the mic driver in sound setting was the only thing that would bring it back. Of course, being a good Geek; I restored Windows audio services, reset/reinstalled Discord, wiped/reinstalled drivers, clean reinstalled G Hub, and verified it was not just discord having the issue. Near the end, I just had the sound menu up to disable/reenable the Logitech mic driver whenever I was on discord and thought I might have to mute myself. My friends could easily tell the difference when I was using my Samsung Bud pros to test my system audio vs the G935s and did not have any issues. The straw that broke the camels back was this week when both the game and discord audio started fading in and out on the headphones mid mission. Even hard wired in, the game audio became distorted and volume faded out. Tapping the side of the headphones would snap it back up usually, confirming hardware issue. As they are just under a year old and have no physical damage, I could get them replaced by Logitech under Manufactures warranty . Full disclosure though, I work for Best Buy and know the value of a replacement plan on something like headphones. Especially when I got the G935 partly with store credit from the Logitech - G633 I had before (liked but left earpiece died mid session in the second year). Given this is the second Logitech Gaming headset in 3 year to fail, I think I will see if another brand can get over the 2 year mark with as good sound. I have to say they sounded great, when they worked.

Great headphones for all-day use.

This headset is very comfortable and sounds great. I can wear the headset listening to music and walk all around the house with them on and rarely have any dropouts. I like how easy it is to mute the mic by flipping the mic up, not having to fumble for a mute button, then it unmutes as soon as it is pulled back down. This is great when on a conference call and someone needs to ask a quick question. The battery lasts all day on a charge, but also works if the battery is dead when the charger is attached, which is very handy on the occasions where I forget to plug them in at the end of the day.Because they are over-the-ear rather than on-ear, they do not put any pressure on the ear, making them very comfortable for long-term use. On-ear headphones tend to get uncomfortable after wearing them for an hour or two. The other advantage of the over-the-ear style is they block out nearly all of the surrounding sounds, making it easy to hear and concentrate on the task and/or call at hand. The only feature I wish they had was Bluetooth, so that they could be used without tying up a USB port for the little transceiver, or for pairing with a phone for portable use.

I love the sound, but I'm currently on my fourth headset with this - it's died three times. And this one is dead too. I'm upset about it, but I feel bad bringing it back to the store because they have replaced it a few times. But this headset literally only last three months if that. This particular that is currently on my head, started having issues within one month. Horrible product for way too much money - the microphone on it goes within three months, this one also the battery, and it just dies all the time even after being fully charged. (but the sound is great). The people on the other end of the microphone intensely hate this headset also because it cuts my voice out constantly, and even after many hours of trying to fix this it's actually just the range in ... MoreI love the sound, but I'm currently on my fourth headset with this - it's died three times. You know, the things I paid $500-600 for with extended warranty. This product has been vigorously tested by me, and sucks. Please replace my headset Noel Leeming

Power Switch design is terrible.

Headset uses an unchangeable "Auto Power Off" feature that requires you to toggle on/off the headset to wake it up every 30 minutes of inactivity.Problem is the switch is absolute garbage an not easily replaceable. It uses a 16 pole system with tiny contacts that fail and require cleaning. WHY this couldn't be a simple contact closure to power the headset on/off is beyond me.Mine started playing up after 2 weeks of owning them. You'll get faint audio, left or right speakers not working and crackling. All from a power switch! WHY!? Its job is to turn the device on/off. It shouldn't be any more complicated but somehow they did it.The worst thing is any fixes people have found that actually resolved the Auto Off issues got patched by the devs so you can't ... MoreHeadset uses an unchangeable "Auto Power Off" feature that requires you to toggle on/off the headset to wake it up every 30 minutes of inactivity.Problem is the switch is absolute garbage an not easily replaceable. WHY this couldn't be a simple contact closure to power the headset on/off is beyond me.Mine started playing up after 2 weeks of owning them. You'll get faint audio, left or right speakers not working and crackling. All from a power switch! WHY!? Its job is to turn the device on/off. It shouldn't be any more complicated but somehow they did it.The worst thing is any fixes people have found that actually resolved the Auto Off issues got patched by the devs so you can't anymore.Truly the worst product I've ever purchased.

But having the ability to open them and remove the battery when it eventually dies is amazing for longevity.
