Comfortable and great mic for the money

One of the biggest things I was looking for with a headset when I bought this was for comfort. My old headset was pinching my ears and head over long periods and actually giving me headaches.I found a lot of things that said these were very comfortable and there happened to be one pair in stock at our local Best Buy. I am so glad I bought these overall.I have bought SO. MANY. HEADSETS over the last several years. Decent stereo headphones

I bought these because the pads on my old wireless bluetooth headphones had been worn thin and the company I bought them from no longer sold that pair. I bought these because I was looking for a solid set that sounded good - had modular capability (I kinda hate getting poked in the face by the mic) and were wireless.Well, I got two out of three things with that. I bought them thinking they were wireless, but they're not - but it wasn't a total deal breaker for me and was also on me for not realizing it, especially at the price I paid.The construction of these headphones are top notch. I love that they used actual thick metal for the headband and the hinges. Now that they're reinforced, I most likely will see the other parts break before the hinges and headband do.The sound is rather good compared to the G935's and G933 Artimus Spectrums I've owned. The base is deeper, vocals are much clearer and sound more full. Over all an improvement for sure.For me it falls flat in the 7.1 surround sound settings. Even with plenty of fidgetting with the settings (It comes with it's own software suite which is nice. I own a 603 wireless mouse and it shows me battery % and allows me to program the buttons on the left of the mouse.) and I could not get it to sound better than listening to everything through a tin can. Everything sounds distant and echo's too much, but what can you really expect from digital surround sound? I've get to find a solid set of 7.1 headphones. I'll stick to the real deal or a 5.1 sound bar.Over all, these headphones are a solid pick up if you want a pair of analogue headphones with some solid audio quality.

Great Headset for the Price

I originally had the Corsair Void Pro wireless headset but after about 3 years, the age was starting to make itself known. On top of that, I have the Elgato Wave 3 mic which uses their Wave Link software so any headset you use will route through it, making wireless headsets less convenient because of the slight delay in sound delivery. Because of that, I knew I wanted a wireless headset and I also wanted something that looked less “gamer-y” so I picked up this headset. Now I also use other Logitech G products so I already used the Logitech G-Hub software but since I was plugging the headset into the headphone jack of my microphone to get the lowest latency, I haven’t used it so I can’t speak to the user experience of that. I assume that if you are super into sound quality, you would go for a more high-end pair of headphones designed for music or something, not gaming, anyway. They are also very comfortable, even for a guy like me with a giant head. I use the leatherette ear cups that were included and I love them but if those trap too much heat for you, you can swap them for the foam-type ear cups that are a bit more breathable in exchange for some loss of bass sounds. I also just really like the way they look. Very sleek black headset with a silver circle with the G logo on each side. Not gaudy, not super RGB gamer bro, just simple styling. Overall I would give them a 10/10 for what I’m using them for at less than $100 (on sale). Even at full price, I would probably rate them a 10/10.

I really appreciate that it comes with a cable for PC coupled with a 3.5mm to USB-A adapter, a cable for phones with embedded mic, and an audio/mic 3.5mm splitter. In other words, this headset can be used on any device.Audio and mic are great. You can watch youtube reviews for more info.The only downside is you can't place it around your neck. It will quite literally strangle you. Some people online also suggested bending the metal (holding the ear cups) out for reduced clamping force.The leather ear pads that come by default are nice but I still found them uncomfortable for extended usage. It does come with an extra pair of sponge ear pads but you lose sound quality. The sound, the fit and the functionality of the mic of these headphones is amazing. The 7.1 surround sound experience during gaming is better than anything I've ever experienced. The ability to adjust the sound equalization based on what it is you're doing, watching, or playing etc is awesome. They're also extremely comfortable, but a little on the snug side during, which can lead to a slight discomfort at the end of extremely long gaming sessions or prolonged use in the 8 to 10 hour range which I don't do very often anyway. When you add to those two things a Blue yeti microphone that is completely customizable, and in my opinion you can't find a better set of headphones. To preface this review: The microphone would not work with any of my windows-based computers or my phone but did work with my MacBook which was very weird. Logitech support gave me a bunch of things to try but ultimately none of them ever worked. They said they would "elevate" me but ended up not sending me anything for 5 days until the same representative sent me another request for more info, which was a disappointing experience. I have since returned them because I couldn't get them to work.As for the headphones, they felt fine. Not the most comfortable headphones I own. The headband has to sit much further back up my head than I would like because the ear cups are angled in a way that demands it. I put in a warranty claim, and received another headset (I give Logitech credit here). However, the same component failed on the newer headset, in March 2023. I contacted Logitech about the issue again and was denied any support (including spare parts). I googled this issue and I don't seem to be alone with this component failing.
