Logitech G213 Prodigy Gaming Keyboard

I've been using this keyboard for almost a month, and have had no issues so far. I was surprised by how quiet it is, the keys have a satisfying feel, but not as much as some more expensive keyboards I have tried in the past. The rgb backlighting is a little dim, but can be controlled easily with the software to be particular colors which is fun. Num lock and caps lock are a bit unclear since they have no backlighting on the labels - only a light on or off for each. The layout is full and standard, with nice media keys for playback, mute and volume. The wrist-rest is greatly appreciated. It wasn't a great value for the money, but its definitely met my expectations.

A game of mixed success

DBZ: KAKAROT is a title best enjoyed as a novelty for what it is, that being an immersive action adventure title set in the Dragonball Z universe and recreating events from the manga/series. However, that doesnt mean its an unmitigated success either. This is not a true open world DBZ rpg, as it was marketed and promised to be. Rather, this is an action rpg that makes compromises at many turns. The largest compromise and most glaring fault of the game is combat. Rather than being open world action combat like it should be, the game jumps into a weird combat phase that suddenly gives you access to your fists and ki and turns the game into an arena fighter (not unlike Xenoverse). First impressions: very noisy and key not responding well

Generally quite decent.

I chose this keyboard because it was at the price I was looking for, and testing it in store it seemed like one of the least clicky-clacky keyboards out of the lot.Honestly, it is a pretty decent keyboard. It doesn't feel cheaply put together. However, personally, I don't actually enjoy typing on it that much. There's something about the way the keys travel as I press them that isn't entirely comfortable when I'm trying to type out long sentences. This might largely be down to personal preference, as I think it's slightly too much resistance when I'm pressing keys.

Great full-size lit wired keyboard for the price

For a wired keyboard I like the K740 much better as its sleeker and the buttons feel much better to me. But its sold out & this keyboard has proven to be a very ok stop-gap. I need backlit keys but this thing cycles through a rainbow of colors which to me is distracting. Im on Linux, and there is a G810-LED program in my package manager for this and other Logitech gaming keyboards so I run 'g213-led -an 1490e1' from the command line or little executable batch file to make it a nice solid blue & all is well. Its a big, full-size keyboard with built-in hand rests, which I also prefer. I'm not a hard-core gamer so can't comment about its gaming capabilities other than it has game mode and very helpful media keys. Its a great deal for the price.

Inexpensive Logitech keyboard works well.

I needed a keyboard to go with my newly built gaming computer. The Logitech G213 has some nice built in RGB lighting so the keys are legible in low lighting and the lights can be programmed in many ways to suit the user. It works very well and I am happy with it so far. I would say that the keys are marked in kind of an odd font that makes them sometimes hard to read but I am a touch typist so that is not a big issue for me. The keys also are just soft touch full movement style but have very little tactile feedback like the click type I am used to. Still, that has not been a big deal for me either and I would say that the keyboard is solid for the price point.

Logitech Prodigy G213 Wired Gaming Keyboard, Black

I absolutely love it. The different color background keyboard is great to see all the keys lite up. Caps, Num lock, everything. On/Off button to turn lights off when not in use. A few keys click, otherwise quiet typing. Good product for the money. Having some issues with it stop typing. I can type in word document with no problem. Just here in reviews. I hope I don't have to return it. If it continues I will. Other than this it's very good.

Random buttons just stop working

I wish I could like this keyboard, but it just fails its most basic job.The first G213 I got immediately had difficulties with OPKLNM/ buttons not working on the first hit, and often taking multiple tries to make them work. I brought it in for exchange (which The Source has always been awesome with!) and got a new one. It worked great for a bit, but now the ERTY keys on this one are doing the same thing! No food or debris is in it, it doesn't see rough or even daily use, and is only 4 months old!I love the lights in the keyboard - visible, but not distractingly bright. Unresponsive and Slow To Register

I didn't want to write a bad review, Logitech has good products. But unfortunately this keyboard was not one of them, for me anyways. I received the keyboard and on the second day of owning it the keys were begging to be very unresponsive and slow to register. I did think the lighting options were nice although I didn't mess too much with it in the software. As for sound, it sounded better than my last two keyboards for sure. But after deciding to return it, I bought a mechanical keyboard. Better option in every way and would last longer for sure, but would cost you a little extra.

Will work for my purposes: As a keyboard

As such, the default color-changing mode is intolerable, with its slowly pulsing screech. This DOES seem to be related to interference, likely from my cheap USB speaker/sub setup. Nonetheless, I would not have thought that buying a keyboard required any sort of checking to make sure the keyboard wouldn't scream like an angry cat. I don't actually care about the backlight, so I turned the light off and have it set to be very dim if I do turn it on periodically. Second, the caps/num/scroll/game-mode lock indicator lights are pointlessly bright. It's like having a penlight staring you in the face for each one. I will be finding something to paint or cover those up to dim the brightness. Third, my own complaint - I wish that the F and J keys had slightly more pronounced bumps to indicate home row placement. But, I expect I'll adjust to that. Despite those complaints, this should work for my purposes - very light gaming and plenty of typing. It replaced a 12-year-old Saitek Eclipse that finally started to have a couple common keys seize up. The G213 is not particularly loud, there aren't a bunch of unnecessary keys added onto it, and everything is in its proper place. I hate typing on low-profile keyboards and mechanical is too loud for my tastes, so I was glad that Logitech still offers a non-mechanical full-height option.
