I bought my G29 three years ago to get myself into the Sim racing world due to everything, including the kart track being in lockdown. I have used this wheel basically every day since I have bought it. It's not just the endurance over time, it's the endurance at one time that also counts. This wheel has lasted me three full 24 Hour races. 24 Hours of being used that is, not swapping to an overseas teammate. And it has survived every single one without any lasting issues noticeable after the race. The portability of it is also amazing. I moved from Switzerland to New Zealand and carried it with me in my suitcase. I've moved around a lot and have taken it with me to go and drive at my cousin's house for the weekend. The amount of buttons it has is also great for someone who doesn't have an extra button box on the side to map controls too. This wheel is the best bang for your buck product I have ever bought. It's great for beginners as well as seasoned drivers who compete at high levels.I recommend the G29, or now the G923 to everyone who wants to get into Sim racing.

Being an avid gamer particularly in the arcade racing games, I wanted to take the next step and transition from pad to wheel.Looking at competitors I decided that the G920 was the best fit for me because if its affordability, quality and accuracy to realism. I bought the wheel in the 2019 playing titles such as F1 2019-23, Assetto Corsa, Forza Horizon/ Motorsport, Dirt, WRC, NFS and many more.Throughout my time using this wheel my driving skills have improved drastically, I can now drift IRL, on track I feel comfortable and racing in my kart feels like a second home because of this wheel.Having tested many other wheels including the Thrustmaster T300, Sparco 310, Cammus and the Fanatec range I am very impressed with how the G920 performs in terms of lap ... MoreBeing an avid gamer particularly in the arcade racing games, I wanted to take the next step and transition from pad to wheel.Looking at competitors I decided that the G920 was the best fit for me because if its affordability, quality and accuracy to realism. Pros: The devices themselves feel great. Heavy and sturdy enough not to move around when used. The pedals lay on the ground and dont slip. The Wheel is sturdy and attaches to a table top sooooo easily and tightly via two very thick and ruberised screw up and down levers. No concerns at all about movement once attached. Whilst driving, some buttons might be too far away from your grip for smaller hands (children) but other than that it is laid out well and easy to use. The main buttons are laid out as per normal PS hand controls. It connected to the PS5 easily without any concerns and all buttons, linked themselves. No technical tinkering required. Be careful when turning on. It calibrated itself by the wheel rotating back and forth a couple of times. Can catch wires ... MorePros: The devices themselves feel great. I bought this product about 3 months ago as I'm getting in to cars and drifting and really wanted a sim racing set up at home so i can try out for myself, but unfortunately, most professional sim racing brand steering wheel price start at 500 AUD. I was looking everywhere to find a product that fits my price point and usage. Then I found the Logitech G29, it was perfect for it's price point and comes with a shifter for only an extra 50 AUD. After getting it I couldn't believe how good it was for the price point. It was so easy to set up and the compatibility with PC games is really good. I was driving and drifting in Assetto Corsa almost everyday. I can really feel the force feedback and how the car tires are acting on the road, really helped me improve my skills. I couldn't be happier because I bought a pack of the steering wheel, shifter and pedals for only 350 AUD and it worked better than I ever expected. I have bought many Logitech products before like the G304 mouse and wireless keyboard, and Logitech delivers everytime. I'm really happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone starting out sim racing.
The first time i got to use Logitech's G920 Racing Wheel, was when it was given to me by my Father as a birthday present. I was fairly young at the time, but i can remember getting a sensation id never felt before. The sensation of driving and feeling the road. As i have gotten older, i still have that original wheel and still use it today. The wheel hasn't shown mutch of a sign of age at all really. I don't have any new issues that i didn't have when i first got it, (i will talk about this later) i still have all of the force feedback and everything still works perfectly fine. Over 6 years and 1000s of hours of playtime the wheel has never failed me. Although sometimes, it can get annoying with small issues that arise. One of these issues, is the steering wheel sometimes losing alignment, when making a quick movement through the wheel. For example in Forza Motorsport 7, there are times where a car will step out and you are required to catch the slide to save yourself from crashing. Whilst making the movement, sometimes if moving the wheel to quikly, the wheel will "forget" where 0 degrees of steering input is, and it becomes where 45 degrees of steering input should be or somewhere around that mark. I have found this happen on pretty mutch all game titles i have played with the wheel. Although, do not worry too mutch about this, as it can easily be fixed by unplugging the wheel at the usb cord, and letting it re calibrate. This issue doesnt cause any problems for the wheel as far as i have seen, but it is just one of those small annoying inconveniences. Another thing i have found annoying with the Logitech G920, is how the brake pedal is designed. Don't get me wrong, the pedals work great and i don't have any issues with their performance. It's just that in the brake pedal, a small piece of rubber is used, to try and simulate the feeling of a brake pedal starting off as light, and as pressure is applied, getting heavier. This is a cool concept and is actually a good idea. But the way it has been executed isn't right. The rubber doesn't give you this feeling at all, more a feeling of pushing the pedal and then it suddenly feeling like your pushing against a brick wall. This makes it super annoying when playing the game because it will feel like youve pushed the pedal as far as it can go, but it still needs more pressure to get to %100 brake application. Although, once again this is generally an easy fix. In most games you are able to calibrate the pedals, and change where you want %100 brake application to be. For example in Forza titles, you can go into settings and make %50 brake application, the point where the brake reaches %100 application. I have seen people removing this piece of rubber by dismantling there pedal set, but that is something that i think i am a bit scared to do. Although it is there as an option if you get really annoyed by it. Overall i love this wheel. Even though it sounds like i might hate it, i actually love it. I love that it has lasted me this long with no complete failure, and that it still continues to keep on working whenever i want it to. Its 4 out of 5 stars for me only because of those issues i spoke about otherwise i love it. There is obviously the newer model out the G923, but if you want to save a bit of money i think that the older model is just as good.
Good day, fellow speed enthusiasts! Logitech is not new to the game (pun intended), and they’ve clearly pulled out all the stops here. If you're a racing game aficionado and haven't tried the G920 yet, buckle up, because you're in for a thrilling ride! Now, the first thing you’ll notice about the G920 is its authentic feel. Constructed with steel and hand-stitched leather, this wheel is a true tribute to high-quality auto craftsmanship. Turning it feels as satisfying as steering a premium sports car. Also, I must mention the dual-motor force feedback. It realistically simulates the racing experience, replicating traction losses, weight shifts, and even road conditions with great precision. Talk about immersive! The pedal set is another major plus. It includes a throttle, brake, and a clutch pedal. Their responsiveness is fantastic, giving you the nuanced control over speed and maneuvering that you’d expect in an actual vehicle. Furthermore, the nonlinear brake pedal mimics the performance of a pressure-sensitive brake system for a more responsive, accurate braking feel. The G920 is also highly versatile. It works seamlessly with Xbox One and PC, ensuring a wide range of racing games at your disposal. If you're a 'Forza' lover or a 'Project CARS' devotee, rest assured, the G920 has got you covered. Now, in the spirit of fairness, let’s address the pit stop on this joyride. The minor con - the G920 lacks a proper instruction manual. While most of us tech-lovers enjoy figuring out gadgets, a detailed guide, especially for novices, would be appreciated. But don't worry, once you get the hang of it, the G920 will be as easy to use as shifting gears in an automatic. And now, a quick tip for all G920 users: make sure to invest in a good quality racing seat or stand for optimum stability during those high-octane races. A stable setup significantly enhances the driving experience, taking it from good to grand-prix-winning great! All in all, the Logitech G920 Driving Force Racing Wheel is a fantastic piece of kit. Its pros vastly outweigh its minor con, making it an ideal purchase for any racing simulation enthusiast. Remember, good racing games transport you to the track, but a great racing wheel, like the G920, puts you in the driver’s seat.Happy racing, folks! Keep the rubber side down and the shiny side up!
For the price, it’s a great wheel, and is fun for playing arcade racing games and driving games, such as Forza and other games. Awesome for the average person to gain a better experience for their car enthusiast gaming. However, for sim racing games, such as Assetto Corsa or anything from that to Iracing, it lacks greatly. The force feedback is simply not enough, but my main problem is with the pedals, there is just no feel at all with the braking. More a fault of the software developers, really - if it was easy to change in game, it wouldn't be too ,much bother - but it isn't, and it is.Clamping to the desk is a bit of a mixed bag - it just depends on your desk as to how well it will hold. My desk is hard wood, and quite thick, and I ended up putting some rubber mats between the desk and the clamps as it would work loose however hard I screwed the clamps. On my son's desk, on the other hand, it grips like a newborn koala! For the price I don't think it can be beaten - in fact I checked and I have spent more on racing games than I did on the wheel!Max
