According to the professional reviewers at RTINGS, this set of headphones gets better sound quality than the G733. It is comfortable for long gaming sessions. Better still, there is no RGB lighting (who wants that on headphones), so you get better battery life compared to the G733. The charging port is USB-C, and the mic can be muted just by flipping it up (unlike a lot of other Logitech wireless headsets such as the G733). For all the advantages over the G733, this headset is also about $50 cheaper. The sound quality is quite good considering the price. It's not going to make audiophiles salivate, but for the price, they sound good. Thanks to the Lightspeed connection, the lag is imperceptible. You will not have sound synching issues. You cannot connect to the PC via USB. Yes, you can charge the headphones and use them at the same time. Downside 1: the GHUB software will not tell you how much battery life is left. You have to go by the color of the LED when you turn it on. Downside 2: the software is not smart enough to automatically switch your Windows sound device to headphones when you turn these on. You will have to manually switch the sound source through the system tray or system settings, then switch back to your speakers when you turn the headphones off.

The sound and comfort and mic on these are all very good. One thing that does have me a bit bummed out though is the frequency response despite the sound being otherwise very clean. They do no go very low compared to my other much cheaper logitech set (G435) and also not nearly as loud. I made the swap because the beamforming mic on the G435 works well BUT picks up so much background noise it is prohibitively distracting when chatting with friends. That is no longer an issue with the boom mic, but the sacrifice to volume and depth is very disappointing for the price. I really thought they would be better in both of those departments. GHUB software does give you an EQ to control them with, but even that does not give enough bass. I ended up using Sonic Studio 3 to ... MoreThe sound and comfort and mic on these are all very good. Battery life is incredible, which is probably the number one reason I will keep them and continue using them. They are very efficient and can likely run a full week without a charge. I have gone a few days without charging yet and they are still at 85%, and that is with about 8-10 hours of gaming, possibly more. Overall I do like them, but I will definitely admit there are much better headsets out there for less.

This headset was easy to set up and the Logitech GHub software on Windows is, I would contest, some of the best and most easy to use in the gaming industry. It is very reliable as software goes with minimal crashes and other issues. Hooking up the headset with the included lightspeed USB-A adapter worked seamlessly. This same connector can hook up to a PlayStation, so this headset is very flexible in that regard! This same connector can hook up to a PlayStation, so this headset is very flexible in that regard! The headset itself is a bold and interesting departure from what I have traditionally seen in my other gaming headsets. The adjustment of the headband comes from two points: a multicolored reversible soft suspension strap that has two adjustment positions and the earcups slide up and down with about an inch of adjustment. I have an average sized dome for a dude, so the longer of the two adjustments on the headband that it came set on fit me well. The smaller adjustment seems like it would fit adolescent and/or smaller heads well. Be warned though, if you have a huge cranium, we are talking about those of you who are afraid to tear crew neck tee shirt head holes etc., this may lack the adjustability to be comfortable for you. I actually quite like this suspension headband set up as it relieves your head from having to have thick foam shoved against it. This, in effect, means that your head stays cooler which I appreciate for my marathon gaming sessions! The earcups of this headset are a nice, rectangular yet contoured shape that feel as if they achieve a nice seal with without being overly constricting. The cups are also, thankfully, nice and cool. You could cook some over-easy eggs on my ear lobes when they get hot from a long gaming session, so I was pleased to find that the headset earcups present here did not roast my ears. The battery life on this headset is EXCELLENT. They claim 33 hours on 50% volume, but I am currently pushing 25 hours on one charge at almost max volume with 15% of my battery left. That is amazing to me. An included USB-C cable charges this headset. As it goes for the all-important audio experience, I find these to be probably a 7 out of 10 on the scale of my audiophilic desires with gaming headsets. The EQ adjustments are great in the software and even as it comes setup from Logitech, the sound is excellent. I play a game called Hunt Showdown that utilizes binaural audio as part of its gameplay. To be competitive in this often stealth-driven game, having excellent audio is crucial. This G535 headset exceeded my expectations in-game as I was able to track footsteps and movements of other players with great accuracy. The general listening experience is great too. I ran through my playlist on Spotify and while I am always craving a little more bass, I found that these had balanced trebles, mids, and bass all the way through. I found I like the FPS EQ setting the best for my overall listening experience. I will note that the max volume on this headset is lower than my previous headset, but this is not too great a concern for me as I probably need to not be listening to my music so loud anyways, haha. The microphone flips up and down for mute which I like for a microphone in general on headsets as this also gets it out of my way when I am not gaming. The audio quality of the microphone is great; my friends I game with and hang out with on Discord could hear me loud and clear with no complaints of static or inconsistent voice signature. Altogether, I give this headset a solid 5/5 recommendation for a great wireless headset that is not overcomplicated in its build or features yet offers a distinctly excellent user experience all while being comfortable and easy to set up. Thanks for reading and hope this helps guide your purchase decision!

After 1 week and several long gaming sessions, I feel confident recommending this wireless headset after my positive experience with it. I was originally stuck between purchasing 1 of the 2 other current Wireless Headsets from Logitech (G533 and G733) and this combines the best of each. Let me elaborate: Pros -COMFORTABLE fit and LIGHTWEIGHT. This headset has the least impact and "feeling" of weight on and around my head of any wireless headset I own/owned and the earcups are soft and cusioned, even while wearing glasses over them the whole time -Amazing Battery life: I've used these for several 3-4.5 hour periods on one charge and haven't seen it drop below 80% yet after a full charge -Sleek, simple, ready to use design. I like the simple controls on the left earcup (power and volume wheel) and setup is incredibly fast and easy: plug in the receiver, install GHUB, and start using. This is the first headset I've owned with the microphone "flip up to mute" feature and it's perfectly suitable if I have to mute quickly, made even better since I don't have to feel around for a switch or button on the earcups to mute. (Possible) cons -Limited Adjustment options. Not sure where my head size falls on the "scale" of sizes but this headset fit me fine, but could be an issue for somebody needing a lot more adjustment range. The earcups slide up and down on the frame and the strap can fit one of two slots on each side, so if you're unsure about headset fit, I would take a closer look in-store or elsewhere to ensure fit. -No RGB lighting, if that matters to you. Doesn't to me, so no issue here -The earcup size just fits over my ears as well. They're soft and cushioned so might offer some additional give but like the adjustment note above, if you have larger ears you might want to measure or take a closer look. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase and the experience I've had with it so far.
Overall I am happy with these headphones especially after being tied town with a wired set all my life. I did have some issues with initial setup. First of all, this is not bluetooth and does not work with normal phones! You need the usb dongle plugged into a computer. Second, I had an issue where I always heard my own voice. I found there was a slider bar for "Sidetone" in the logitech software which you need to turn all the way down. This is turned to mid range by default! Not sure why this is even a thing as I hate hearing my own voice. Lastly, I had difficulty routing my sound to the headset correctly and had to get pretty deep into sound properties to fix. That could just be my computer. Otherwise I'm pretty happy with these. Best of all, I can walk to the kitchen or bedroom and still hear whats going on in the game. The earphone part is large enough that it doesn't rest on my ears and I have medium sized ears. So I would say they are worth the money.
When it comes to headsets, I'm a bit of a snob, but not about sound quality. I get headaches easily, so weight and clamping pressure are major issues with many headsets, and I also want sidetone (mic monitoring) so I can make sure I'm not shouting into the mic. These two desired features eliminate most headsets on the market currently, and I've tried A LOT of them! I've been using a wired Razer BlackShark V2 (which is very comfortable and has sidetone), but I got tired of getting tangled in the cord and wanted a wireless headset for my new couch gaming PC. After days of research and realizing I couldn't rationalize spending $300 on "pro" wireless headsets like the Astro A50, I narrowed my choices to the new SteelSeries Arctis 7P+ (which has a sidetone wheel on the ... MoreWhen it comes to headsets, I'm a bit of a snob, but not about sound quality. I've been using a wired Razer BlackShark V2 (which is very comfortable and has sidetone), but I got tired of getting tangled in the cord and wanted a wireless headset for my new couch gaming PC. After days of research and realizing I couldn't rationalize spending $300 on "pro" wireless headsets like the Astro A50, I narrowed my choices to the new SteelSeries Arctis 7P+ (which has a sidetone wheel on the ear cup), Logitech G733, and this new G535 that isn't even listed on Logitech's website yet. The main differences between the Logitech G733 and 535 wireless headsets appear to be the RGB lighting on the 733 and the flip-to-mute microphone on the 535. Since RGB lights only deplete the battery faster (and can't be seen while you wear them anyhow), and I loathe headsets without detachable or flip-up microphones, I decided to take a chance on the brand new Logitech 535 headset...and I'm glad I did. I'm a middle-aged woman with a big head, and this headset with its elastic headband fits perfectly and is SO comfortable! The elastic band is stretchy and barely is felt while wearing, the ear cups have soft cushioned fabric, and the headset's clamping pressure is very gentle. I also ordered the SteelSeries Arctis 7P+, and the Logitech 535s are noticeably lighter weight (the Arctis is mostly metal) and much more comfortable on my sensitive noggin due to less clamping pressure. Plus, the USB dongle on the 535 doesn't block adjacent PC ports like the wide USB-C dongle on the Arctis 7P+. Yes, you need to install Logitech's G Hub software in order to enable sidetone on the 535 headset, but you also then have access to customize equalizer settings (see my photo) and adjust other mic settings. If you've never used sidetone, I highly recommend trying it, as you'll likely never want another headset without it. My ONLY gripe is that the 535's sidetone only seems to be active when the microphone is being used...which makes sense, but I'm used to my Razer headset's always-on sidetone that allows me to monitor room sounds even when the mic is not being used. Since I have only used my headset for a day (and Best Buy doesn't allow reviews to be updated later), I cannot attest to battery life or all-day comfort of the 535, but sound and mic quality are perfectly fine for my needs, though I'm no audiophile. If you are super picky about sound quality, you'll probably want to look at the "pro" headsets anyhow, but for basic audio and impressive features and comfort, the Logitech 535 is an excellent deal in my opinion! Plus, the reversible purple and blue elastic band looks so sharp with the all-black plastic headset.
First, I am extremely picky when it comes to shape, weight, and fit of headphones, so it's rare for me to find a pair that I can wear all day comfortably. After a week of wearing the the Logitech G535 Lightspeed headset, I'm excited to share that these are, by far, the most comfortable pair of headphones I've tested. In the box are the headphones, USB dongle and charging cable. Setup is very easy, plug in dongle to either PC or PS4 (I tested both) and the headphones are connected. The design is unique, in that there is a band of stretchy mesh material that sits below the headband frame. This fabric supports the weight of the headset over the top of the head, and distributes the weight evenly, so no pressure soreness or discomfort even after a 10 hour day of wear. ... MoreFirst, I am extremely picky when it comes to shape, weight, and fit of headphones, so it's rare for me to find a pair that I can wear all day comfortably. There are two height adjustments for the fabric, giving plenty of ability to fit various head shape/size, and the fabric is reversible for either an aqua or purple-ish color. The ear cups sit over the ears and are a light weight breathable foam, that were appropriately roomy for both myself and my teens. Lastly, the overall weight of the headset is ~1/2 lb, making these much lighter than the majority of other headsets I've tested. Build wise, the materials feel like a quality lightweight plastic versus flimsy, such that I don't worry about the occasional fall off my desk. The controls are on the left ear, and being left handed, this is preferred. On the back side of the left ear cuff, from top to bottom are the indicator light, power button, volume wheel, and on bottom is the USB charging port. Battery life was two full days of back to back meetings and into the third day, this is without me powering off when I'm done, but rather tossing the headset on my desk and taking off for the day. The mic does not detach, but will rotate up (mute position) fully out of the way. The range distance from dongle is impressive, as I can go downstairs, across the house and not lose audio feed. I estimate I was ~40' away from the laptop, through two walls at the farthest point. As far as sound, during videoconferencing / music / and routine PC work stuff, I found the sound quality to be strong. This means I could hear everyone during meetings, the mic doesn't pick up my nearby background noise or my breathing, and I didn't find myself having to adjust the volume during different audio tasks throughout the day. Note, while the 535s have a strong quality, these are not music studio audiophile quality, however neither is the price point. As far as gaming goes, I found that I could clearly hear game based environmental noise (players behind me, footsteps, weapon reload, etc), with slight directional nuances, and zero noticeable lag. Overall, highly recommend, the comfort for a wide range of head sizes is the number one feature for me, closely followed by sound quality, weight, and battery life. This is a fantastic versatile headset that I can't say enough good things about!

The LOGITECH - G535 LIGHTSPEED WIRELESS HEADSET is one of the better sounding wireless headsets I have tried in a while, especially at this price point. I put a “?” next to ATMOS because other than the Best Buy site, nobody else claims the G535 headset ATMOS. (at the time of this review) There is nothing on the box that says ATMOS or on any literature I’ve been able to find. My guess, purely speculation, is that LOGITECH did not complete a licensing agreement (yet?) so they had to drop the ATMOS claims and logo. That being said as long as you properly configure them with that DOLBY ACCESS APP you will get decent emulated surround sound. Keep in mind there are only 2 speakers, so unless you spend a lot more you won’t get true multi-speaker surround sound anyway. For wireless headsets the LOGITECH - G535 LIGHTSPEED WIRELESS HEADSET sound almost as good as my “best” wired headset, but with the freedom of being wireless. SETUP My main test was on my PC, so the setup is only to plug in the USB Dongle and start using them. There is an included USB-A to USB-C cable included for charging them. I was able to use them for several hours without issue, and the documentation states something like 30 hours. There is no documentation, just legal stuff included with the headset. I highly suggest you download the LOGITECH G-HUB software which allows you to enable microphone feedback (so you can better hear when you are talking) and optimize equalizer and power saving settings. COMFORT / FIT / ETC I 100% prefer this style of floating headset (with the band to better able distribute the weight). I have a larger head, so normally most headsets are too tight. In this case, the LOGITECH - G535 LIGHTSPEED WIRELESS HEADSET was too loose with the inside strap at its default position. Once I moved to the next step up, I had a nice snug fit. Before the adjustment they always felt like they were on the verge of falling off. Additionally, the cups can move up or down. The adjustment that worked best for me is the cups as low as possible and the band as high as possible. Short version is that the LOGITECH - G535 LIGHTSPEED WIRELESS HEADSET is very adjustable for comfort. It is also relative lightweight at about 250 grams. My best sounding wired headset comes in around 450 grams, so I definitely get some fatigue after a while. I like the flip up microphone. AUDIO Here is the super subjective part, that you need to try for yourself. MY RANKING (1 – 10 Best) - Music Playback = 8 - Conference Calls Listening = 8 - Conference Calls Microphone = 6 (a little quiet) - Gaming Listening Quality = 8 - Gaming Spatial Awareness = 6 (left right OK not much surround Cyberpunk 2077) - Gaming Microphone = 7 (a little quiet but does OK minimizing background noise) The quality of the sound was good throughout the entire audio range. The low end was a tiny bit muddy, but on whole everything was crisp and well balanced. SUMMARY / CONCLUSION / RECOMMENDATION I can overall recommend the LOGITECH - G535 LIGHTSPEED WIRELESS HEADSET. I’m not sure what is up with the ATMOS designation, but that is not a show stopper unless you have convinced yourself you must have an ATMOS certified device (I assume certification is in the works). As I said these are just below my best wired headset and above any of the other wireless headsets I have tried in this price range.
This is a garbage headset. This was my first logitech purchase and I won't give them a second chance. First off, They're 'hub' program does not work with this headset. Yes, the one they advertise. When I went to support after trying to turn it on out the box, they told someone in the questions that this headset does not work with the hub and to uninstall the program. So scratch those features right away. As soon as I uninstalled it, they started to work. Now, lets talk about sound. With this turned all the way up, it doesn't come close to my headset half it's price that I was replacing. I could barely hear anything. There's no surround sound practically. Sound is terrible. Also, no sound proofing. My other headset, I can't hear people standing next to me trying to ... MoreThis is a garbage headset. With this turned all the way up, it doesn't come close to my headset half it's price that I was replacing. I could barely hear anything. There's no surround sound practically. Sound is terrible. Also, no sound proofing. My other headset, I can't hear people standing next to me trying to talk. They have to tap me so I know they're there. This one, I could hear my kids all the way on the second floor talking. Not good at all for gaming. Third, the mic. When it is flipped up 'muted', it makes a terrible scratching sound randomly, which others have complained about. Maybe I got a dud out the box, but with this name brand and their rep that shouldn't happen at all. Do yourself a favor and skip it. There's so much better out there and for less and even a little more you can get unbelievable sound and soundproofing. I knew I made a mistake when I pulled it out the box and saw how light, cheap plastic it is. I mean honestly if someone stepped on it or you dropped it on hardwood I would not be surprised if parts broke off. That's how cheaply this is made. Logitech needs to scratch this and start over.
The Logitech G535 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Over-the-Ear Headset is a good set of gaming headphones which has an integrated microphone boom. These headphones are lightweight and sound good, but don’t match higher priced models I’ve had before. Although after several long gaming sessions they still remained comfortable to wear with not a lot of over clamping (even though I have a big head). The cups may be a bit of a problem for those that have large ears however, mine fit OK, but I did find over time that a bigger cup over the ear would probably be better for me. The build quality was good, although not premium, but for the price I thought they were a good value. The build quality was good, although not premium, but for the price I thought they were a good value. The sound profile of this headset tends to favor the high end of sound spectrum with detailed highs and midranges which really lend to great game play and audio dialog in gaming sessions. I feel the bass response lacks a bit of punch, although clear and not muddy it didn’t quite to seem to match up well with the rest of the audio spectrum reproduction. I did not hear any sound distortion when using them, the Bluetooth connection was reliable once I paired this device (on my PS5 with the included USB receiver). The volume control is convenient providing quick flexibility via the use of volume roller, which is right below the power button. The microphone boom also the flips up and mutes when lifted. Logitech’s G Hub software for the PC can also be used for other configuration options including updating the firmware on the headphones. Overall, the Logitech G535 Gaming Headset performs well and is super comfortable, you could get a better gaming headset, but at this price point they meet my expectations. Pros: - Lightweight - Comfortable for long gaming session, even with eyeglasses on - Chargeable via USB-C plug - Good battery life - Clear highs and mid ranges Cons: - Build does not feel durable - Lows could be better, they are clear, but not punchy
