I'll try something new with my review format and try to "categorize" things to make this more readable.Audio: The audio is good for a "gaming headset". I say this because headphones made by gaming companies don't offer superior audio compared to headsets made by actual audio companies. But the audio in these are great. Good enough bass, EQ, volume, etc. Again, nothing groundbreaking, but unless you're downgrading from an expensive set, you should be satisfied with the sound quality of these.Controls: The controls are great and straightforward. You have a volume dial on the side and an adjustable microphone. The volume dial is great in that it changes the volume on the device you're connected to, not the volume of the headset itself. You have a volume dial on the side and an adjustable microphone. The volume dial is great in that it changes the volume on the device you're connected to, not the volume of the headset itself. This means you don't have two different volumes on both the device and the headphones, you just have one single volume. This is great for convenience, as it means no more fiddling with my Windows volume and headphones volume, it's all set to just one single volume.Build quality: In order to achieve its lightweightness, it had to use materials that are also light as well. This means it will feel "cheap", like a "toy". But it's because of the light plastic and build design. So I can get why people may see it this way, but it personally feels just fine to me. It feels sturdy enough that I don't mind it. And when it comes to it, you really have only two options: Lighter headset, but less premium feel, or heavier headset, but more premium feel. In this case, I prefer a headset that doesn't weigh much, so I'm willing to accept the build quality. The straps and ear cushions feel great as well, and are quite soft without being too soft or too firm.Microphone: The microphone has a great feature where if you put it up, it auto disables itself, and vice versa. The quality is... Not great. If you want professional quality and sound, get an actual standalone mic. Most headset mics, regardless of company, will sound subpar in comparison. But if you don't mind that, then this will suffice. The communication is clear enough in my opinion, and teammates will be able to easily hear you without too much noise or diminished quality.Wireless aspect: It uses a USB. This is an upside and a downside. The upside: You get way less latency. The downside: You don't get Bluetooth. So if your desired device won't take USB, then you basically can't use these with them.Battery life: Lasts me a good amount of time. I can go days without charging it, and I use it a lot daily for videos, music, etc. at around 75% volume. It also has a battery saving feature where it can auto shutoff when it detects it's not in use, which is pretty neat.Overall: Great if you want a light, wireless headset from a reputable brand and don't mind any of the minor downsides that come with it. I recommend purchasing if it's in your budget and you are interested at this point.

If you have a big head, you may find it a bit small.-Rarely, the audio randomly gets static for a second or two. This is even though I am right next to the PC. It could be that Wifi or something is interfering with the signal. I am not sure.-It does not have any fancy features.

[Rewarded Review] Issues with the flip down to unmute mic function

I would’ve rated this 5 stars but I have a few concerns/issues regarding this headset and I’m hoping the manufacturer/merchant sees this review and offers help. My first concern is that there were no written instructions or any kind of paperwork/manual in the box; it just contained the headset with the headband, USB receiver and the charging cord, no user documentation as it states on the box. My second concern is that when I am using the headset for work (windows 11 PC) it works great for the most part but my mic is muted even though it is flipped down. Now this is an intermittent issue but a critical issue as I am an inbound call center rep and the issue has occurred at the beginning of receiving a call. I use it with the avaya software as well as Microsoft teams, ... MoreI would’ve rated this 5 stars but I have a few concerns/issues regarding this headset and I’m hoping the manufacturer/merchant sees this review and offers help. Now this is an intermittent issue but a critical issue as I am an inbound call center rep and the issue has occurred at the beginning of receiving a call. I use it with the avaya software as well as Microsoft teams, my mic gets muted when flipped down regardless of the software I’m using at the time. The only “fix” I have found is to flip the mic back up, wait a second and then flip it back down and it’ll then unmute.Other than these 2 concerns, the headset is super comfortable - I wear glasses and rarely feel discomfort, it has great audio quality and noise cancellation for both the mic and earpieces. I really like this headset, I can see myself using it for a long time; I just need to find a way to fix the mic muting issue!

[Rewarded Review] Lightweight, Sidetone, & Flip-Up Mic!

When it comes to headsets, I'm a bit of a snob, but not about sound quality. I get headaches easily, so weight and clamping pressure are major issues with many headsets, and I also want sidetone (mic monitoring) so I can make sure I'm not shouting into the mic. These two desired features eliminate most headsets on the market currently, and I've tried A LOT of them!I've been using a wired Razer BlackShark V2 (which is very comfortable and has sidetone), but I got tired of getting tangled in the cord and wanted a wireless headset for my new couch gaming PC.After days of research and realizing I couldn't rationalize spending $300 on "pro" wireless headsets like the Astro A50, I narrowed my choices to the new SteelSeries Arctis 7P+ (which has a sidetone wheel on the ... MoreWhen it comes to headsets, I'm a bit of a snob, but not about sound quality. Since RGB lights only deplete the battery faster (and can't be seen while you wear them anyhow), and I loathe headsets without detachable or flip-up microphones, I decided to take a chance on the brand new Logitech 535 headset...and I'm glad I did.I'm a middle-aged woman with a big head, and this headset with its elastic headband fits perfectly and is SO comfortable! The elastic band is stretchy and barely is felt while wearing, the ear cups have soft cushioned fabric, and the headset's clamping pressure is very gentle. I also ordered the SteelSeries Arctis 7P+, and the Logitech 535s are noticeably lighter weight (the Arctis is mostly metal) and much more comfortable on my sensitive noggin due to less clamping pressure. Plus, the USB dongle on the 535 doesn't block adjacent PC ports like the wide USB-C dongle on the Arctis 7P+.Yes, you need to install Logitech's G Hub software in order to enable sidetone on the 535 headset, but you also then have access to customize equalizer settings (see my photo) and adjust other mic settings. If you've never used sidetone, I highly recommend trying it, as you'll likely never want another headset without it. My ONLY gripe is that the 535's sidetone only seems to be active when the microphone is being used...which makes sense, but I'm used to my Razer headset's always-on sidetone that allows me to monitor room sounds even when the mic is not being used.Since I have only used my headset for a day (and Best Buy doesn't allow reviews to be updated later), I cannot attest to battery life or all-day comfort of the 535, but sound and mic quality are perfectly fine for my needs, though I'm no audiophile. If you are super picky about sound quality, you'll probably want to look at the "pro" headsets anyhow, but for basic audio and impressive features and comfort, the Logitech 535 is an excellent deal in my opinion! Plus, the reversible purple and blue elastic band looks so sharp with the all-black plastic headset.

While I can’t say that the sound quality on this headset is the best I’ve ever heard, it is still a good quality sound. What I like the most about this headset is the quality of the construction, the comfortability of the headband, the fact that you can easily replace the headband and ear muffs whether it be because they’re old/dirty or you just want to customize your hwadset like I did. I also love that you can easily customize the sound of your headphones with the Logitech Ghub app on your computer. My only small complaint minus the sound quality is I’ve been told by friends that the microphone quality is not good. This can however be somewhat fixed using the Ghub app as people have made presets for the microphone to change the sound quality and my friends have ... MoreWhile I can’t say that the sound quality on this headset is the best I’ve ever heard, it is still a good quality sound. Overall I think it’s a great headset for the price, especially if you get it on sale. The battery life on these has also been really good.

[Rewarded Review] The good doesnt outweigh the bad. *Returned*
5 January 2024

Pros-Lightweight and very comfortable.-Battery life seems to be as good as advertised.-With the proper software and tuning, the sound quality is good.-Flip to mute mic has a click you can feel when you mute it and it does a beep in the headset to indicate its muted. I like these features.Cons-The mic is terrible. It picks up every bit of background noise and sounds like youre in a long hallway or underwater. Muffled and weird sounding. Not usable for my situation.-Range is nowhere near advertised and the signal struggles to get passed walls or doors. Worst wireless signal ive used.-Sound was bad out of the box. Dull and tinny. Had to install a competitors software and do extensive EQ tuning to make them sound good.

[Rewarded Review] Worst headset on the market

Imagine you're sitting at your desk with your beautiful new headset on. You get up to go for a brisk stroll to another room because there are no wires attached to you and you've also got the gluttonous urge provided by the advertised 65.5 feet of range to consume distance with it equipped. In that moment this becomes more than a headset, but also a math teacher when you realize they put the decimal in the wrong place and you haven't thought about decimals and their whereabouts in years. At 6.55 feet of range, the static approaches and you begin wondering if they are coming to abduct you again or if the microchip they planted last time is making the headset buzz. The gluttony shrinks away and you return to your throne admonished by this hurdle. In an attempt to shake ... MoreImagine you're sitting at your desk with your beautiful new headset on. In an attempt to shake the nerves of a possible 4th kind encounter or the headache brought on by decimals and static, you turn the volume up on your new headset to immerse yourself in another world, far from this one troubling you.The audio is clear, crisp and way too quiet. You can still hear the world around you audibly despite your attempts to block the noise with more noise. Beaten but not defeated you persevere in hope and turn the volume back down, but the headset has become sentient in order to flatten the remainder of your faith. High pitched ringing pierces both earphones at a pitch just audible enough that it feels like a piece of fishing line is being pulled through your head. The band at the top loses it's elasticity despite the head shrinking potions you know you take daily to prevent this from happening. It's all too much, but it has the visage of a god and isn't uncomfortable to wear, so perhaps by setting it down for now and coming back to it will breathe a new life into this lost soul of a headset. Hours pass and you return with a fervor that couldn't be matched, only to discover the headset does not have an Auto-Off feature and will always take the easy way out. You plug it in so you can use it for the time being and in the same instant all of your power is absorbed into the headset as planned. You didn't buy a wireless headset, you bought a wired one.I had a Steelseries Arctis 1 wireless for 3 years and replaced the mic once for $10. Thankfully I didn't let go of it because I'm putting it back on. The range is better, the audio is better, the charge and features are better, and it's the same price except I already own it.If you love yourself, hate yourself or don't care either way, this will still find a way to ruin your mood. The RMA process through Logitech is a nightmare too. Just don't.

they seem good, but arrived without a box?
26 April 2024

I just got these today. The sound was good, the headset is comfortable. I'm just... a little confused about why they came out of the box. The packing slip says "New headphones G535". If you look at the part where it says "Item, Description", under Item, it says g535-White-Restored. But I didn't buy restored headphones? I paid for new headphones...I double checked the listing I bought from, and it is Logitech, but sold by "Elegant Electronics" and "Fulfilled by Walmart", but on the packing slip, it shows it was sent by Electronics Plus?Normally this is something I would let go, but I'm confused about why they came out of the box, is HANDWRITTEN as "new headphones" but says "G353-White-Restored" on the packing slip.
