It suits my needs, but it is 3 stars because it is cumbersome. I give it 3 out of 5 stars as it is useful as a media center keyboard, although it is far from perfect. And put the right click key on this keyboard somewhere. It is sad how MFRs take away the most useful of keys- for these mac-like shortcut keys that many of us- simply do not use.

Please note that it is stated clearly here in the DESCRIPTION SECTION for this Wireless Keyboard that it is only compatible with Device's operating on the following System Requirements: Google Chrome OS, Microsoft Windows 7 / 8 / 10 or later, Android 5.0 or later. Unfortunately, this model will not work with any Apple or Mac operating systems, such as iPhones iOS System. This lightweight, durable and extremely convenient Keyboard allows me to easily operate my Laptop from 10 feet away, especially handy when searching various streaming site's for something to watch or responding to an important email. Solid small keyboard that's perfect for a media center PC. However, there's an issue that for me is a dealbreaker. The F-row keys are locked to their alternate functions, and there is no way to disable it on the keyboard itself. The ONLY way to change it is to install the "Logitech Options" utility and leave it running full time. Which isn't even an option for me since I want to use this keyboard with my Steam Deck, and that utility isn't available on Linux. Microsoft's equivalent keyboard can do Fn-Lock by just hitting Fn and Caps Lock and I have no idea why Logitech didn't do something similar. So, that's a dealbreaker for me personally, but that doesn't mean it's a problem for everyone.

I'm guessing that this was aimed primarily at people controlling home media players, tapping in the odd character with one finger and otherwise using the trackpad to browse content, and not people looking for a fast and fluid typing/working experience. I've used dozens and dozens of different keyboards over the last few decades and am a relatively fast ten-fingered touch typist. This keyboard gives me the least pleasant and the slowest typing experience that I can recall. The key mechanism gives a sluggish response and the key layout (tight shouldered, identical profiles in the main) make it difficult to feel like I know where I am on the keyboard. Very odd. I got this keyboard to use with my macbook that's connected to my home theater. I couldn't find many reviews of the touchpad compatibility with macOS so here's my experience. The touchpad can be used to track and scroll with two fingers on Mac. You can also lightly tap on the touchpad itself and it'll register as a click, and double tap will register as a click-and-drag. The tracking is not as good as the glass trackpads on the macs but it's good enough with a little sensitivity increase in settings. Gestures like three-finger swipe won't work but it's not really that big of a deal since you can replicate most of those with keyboard shortcuts like ctrl+left/right. The yellow button on the top functions as a left click button which I found to be really useful when using the keyboard two-handed since you can't physically push down the trackpad to register the click like on a MacBook. I really wish there were more options for this type of product since most of them are separate keyboard and mice and there's hardly any external touchpads on the market.

The left/right mouse button is not sensitive, making clicking button and drag from touchpad a pain to accomplish. At $30, I think the value is acceptable. But I won't recommend this product. I do not review much, but when a product works well or is really bad, I will submit a review. I have dropped this keyboard many times, and because of that sometimes the batteries fall out - just stick em back in, close the cover and it pairs up again in seconds...on its own. Also the batteries last a very long time. The bluetooth feature works well, the connectivity even goes thru ceilings and walls. The touchpad is sensitive and responsive. The only con I have is one of the little rubber feet, on the bottom, fell off so on a flat surface it rocks a little - I could have glued it back ... I recently purchased a Steam Deck and needed an easy way to type and click on items when using the Steam Deck in desktop mode as it's track pads take some getting used to. I originally thought of getting a separate wireless mouse and keyboard combo but decided to save some space and get this in stead. Just plug in the reciever into your dock used for your Steam Deck, pull the plastic on the batteries, flip the switch to on and off you go. No drivers needed it works right out of the box. It is a little longer than the Steam Deck and slightly wider as you can see in the photos. This allows you to save a little room on your bag since you don't need to have a mouse and it reduces the weight a little as well. Over all this is a good investment for those looking for a ...
