Logitech MX Anywhere 2S Wireless Mouse

I was kind of annoyed when my husband purchased such an expensive mouse. I had been using an old corded mouse and it was time to upgrade. When I tried this mouse, it was night and day. This mouse is well built and feels really solid in my hand. The mouse lasts all 8 ours of my day and paired easily with my PC. There was one additional benefit that I was pleasantly surprised by was the sound and smooth quality. When I move the mouse, there is almost no sound as I move it around on my desk and the movement feels smooth in my hand. Button sounds are a soft click. Architects, 3D artists beware

If you work in CAD or any 3D modeling program do not get this mouse. period. The scroll wheel does not pan or orbit. You can cutomize the middle button below the wheel to "work" like a traditional middle button according to logitec options but it will still does not pan or orbit. It's only useful for scrolling through windows and opening tabs on the web.This is essential to so many programs, I can't believe logitech would exclude this from their mouses.Also, the scroll is super sensitive. I swear I don't touch it and it scrolls.

Decent mouse which does what it says

Reason for purchase: 2 pc's connected to the same monitor that I need to switch between a couple of times a day. The bluetooth smart switch feature in this mouse allows me to seamlessly switch between the teo computers without having to move dongles around.DISLIKE: The centre scrolling wheel can be customized through the logitech app in a million different ways, except for one. A traditional mouse wheel can be pushed in to hold the scroll function. I use softwares that require holding down the mouse wheel to rotate the objects. The mouse wheel on this does nothing when pushed in, and the logitech software does not allow this function to be added. Defective mouse & disappointed w/ customer service

Extremely disappointed with what Best Buy customer service has become and mouse was defective. I just opened up the mouse this week, tried to fully charge it, and the battery is dead and the mouse doesn’t work properly. When I contacted Best Buy both online and in store, I was told my purchase was outside of the return window and they wouldn’t exchange it or give store credit since it was an opened box, and I had to use my Logitech warranty with Logitech directly.It has been a disappointing experience to say the least, as I was sold a defective mouse and Best Buy wouldn't directly take any responsibility. 1st time I've ever been denied an exchange or store credit, and beyond disappointed.

Great mouse, but has just one flaw!

It's been 2 years since I've used this mouse, and I have to say I like it way better than the apple magic mouse (which is the only other mouse I've ever really used). The only problem I have is that I noticed the nail of my thumb getting black (almost charcoal like) stuff on it. The softer rubber like surface on the right and left bottom side of the mouse seem to be rubbing off, and release black stuff :/ I can also see the surface scratched off (I guess it's due to the continuous friction with my fingers). Other than this black stuff coming off, its a good mouse. I use it for design work as well as gaming sometimes. It's a good everyday mouse.

Ive owned many logi mice over the years, and they tend to be my go to brand for work and school. I wanted this mouse for my work from home setup, in lieu of the wired one provided to me. As always out of the box it was an easy setup, you really can just plug in and go for basic features. Had no problems with my work laptop connecting once I put the provided USB into it. First thing I noticed was how incredibly quiet it was while right, or left clicking. The Quiet Click feature is literally silent, and I can say Ive never experienced such a genuinely quiet mouse click. The next thing I noticed was the scroll wheel, which is advertised as Magspeed, and once again something Ive never seen before. There are plenty of customizable options literally at your fingertips which I feel a lot of people will appreciate. The design is sleek, and visually appealing. The cons for me was although Logitech advertises a track glass, 8K dpi sensor that will work on any surface, that wasnt the case for me. I have a gaming mousepad that spans my entire desk, and it literally felt like a workout moving the mouse around, despite the previous one by logi I used had no issues. I dont want to have to rearrange my setup, just to accommodate this mouse. Also, it wasnt as comfortable in my hand, and after only 10 minutes of use I felt some discomfort. Im not sure if it was from having to exert so much energy to move the mouse around, or the design, but I feel both. The thumb pad is a nice ergonomic feature, but it just was not as comfortable to me in hand and I cannot use this everyday, for 8 hours at work which was disappointing. Maybe this would be better for other people, with different ergonomic needs than I. Overall, I would recommend this to the right person, and right setup, but may not work for everyone.

Awesome mouse I have never felt anything quite like this It feels so light and as such moves so easily across surfaces. The stats say it weighs 63 grams but on my digital scale it shows 60 grams see pics. This is compared to my regular mouse which was 99 grams I know we are talking about very small measurements of weight but you can feel it as you input and move the mouse. Lighter is for sure more accurate and gives that split second crosshair line up on first person shooters advantage. The mouse felt like an extension of my hand instead of a clunky input tool. I wonder where they keep the battery cause it doesnt feel like there is one inside it Its light yes but when you combine that with the optics sensors on this mouse and how precise it is, you have a winning gaming combination in what ever game you play After the easy set up I had to go into my mouse sensitivity set up and speed up the movement from my old mouse. My old mouse was like if you have 1 foot of space and it has a mark on each inch as a movement guide and moves from one inch mark to another 1 inch mark. The Logitech has 14 inch marks on that same 1 foot space and moves from 14 inch to 14 inch across that same space. Again, more precise and easier movement winning The two key features lightness and precision are in the bag but a bonus that I really like about Logitech whole gaming accessory lineup is the GHUB. Its home to my Logitech G915 TKL and now my ProX Superlight. I can quickly see battery life and make any adjustments to the mouse and assign buttons and create macros ect. Its super easy and intuitive. The wheel is sharp and the primary buttons have a perfect click. The side buttons are great for right handed folksnot so good for lefties. I would have also liked a light up G on the back of the mouse but even without any lighting it is aesthetically beautiful. I would have sacrificed a couple of grams for the light though. But minor complaints. It also comes with some grip tape you can apply for extra gription but I chose to pass. It feels good as it is for me. Overall its another impeccable product in Logitechs gaming lineup. I would highly recommend

I had purchased other Logitech mice before. But none had Bluetooth capability. Not only can you use the USB dongle but the built in Bluetooth on this mouse makes for a much more stable connection. Unlike the previous mice, you also have the ability to connect this mouse with 3 total devices and switch between them using the toggle button at the bottom. This makes switching between different devices so much easier than using the USB dongle (1 regular pc and two laptops for my use). The battery life seems very long. I haven't had to charge it yet since I received it in late November if that's any indication. Another positive is that I can use it on surfaces that I can't use my previous mice on such as glass. So it should last a long while. One thing I hated with my previous Logitech mouse was the rubber side grips that would get tacky after long periods of use due to the oils of your fingers. This mouse does not feel as rubbery on the sides and won't easily get tacky (at least for now, only had it for a month). You might gets the oils of your fingers on it but won't get easily tacky. The scroll wheel feels nice and scrolls smoothly. Side buttons feel nice and responsive.The only real downside for me is the size. It's smaller than a normal sized mouse. If you have large hands, this may not be the right size mouse for you. But it does take up less space in a travel bag of that's a factor for you.

Still comfy, still zoomy

Fine so far. Haven't used it much as I ordered it as a back-up to my current MX Anywhere 2 mouse, so it's currently plugged into an older device. These are great mice that generally last for a long time. I've got a way-older MXA2 that is still in use on another computer (and I got that one after finally wearing down my original MXA). The sides will wear down a bit (get dull, lose texture) and the buttons will eventually get a little shiny. But that will happen with any mouse if you rest your hand on it for a significant amount of time. For me, the size of this mouse is just perfect. Longer or wider ones hurt to use. Supposedly the 2S has slightly different dimensions but, so far, I don't feel much difference compared to the 2. These mice are work-horses; they'll ... MoreFine so far. Versatile Mouse

I use this mouse with my laptop computer and my iPad using a Bluetooth connection to each device. I could also use the mouse with a 3rd device (such as another computer) using either Bluetooth or the included Unifying USB nano receiver. However, it would be nice if there were a slot or small compartment in the mouse where I could store the USB nano receiver when not in use or when needing to pack/transport my computer gear elsewhere, so that the USB nano receiver doesn't get lost. Also, the scroll wheel on the mouse may be occasionally a little too sensitive, such that the computer screen view will scroll down a small amount while only moving the mouse without my finger even touching the scroll wheel.
