Really great mouse. The magnetic scroll is amazing - even better than the MX Master 2. I love the USB C charging port. The button customization is great for AutoCAD. Office, and Adobe projects, also making the thumb roller extremely useful. The one down side for me is that I use my index finger to operate the left mouse key AND the scroll wheel. They recontoured the right edge of the mouse so that if you use the mouse this way, here is very little room for you last two fingers and it is a little cramped. I have kind of switched to using my middle finger to scroll and my 4th finger to right mouse button. So, if you have a MX Master 1 or 2 it may be a surprise. The reason I upgraded was because we will soon be returning to the office in a hybrid (3 days at office/2 ... MoreReally great mouse. I'm an editor, and switching from the magic mouse to this was a nice upgrade.The thumb side-scrolling wheel is wonderful when working in NLE's or other programs where horizontal scrolling is convenient.The mouse wheels are nicely weighted as well, and click in each selection -- so when shifting thru font or blending mode selections, you can be precise.

The mouse I had before this one was a bit too small for my hand which started causing pain in the base of my thumb over time because of how I had to pinch the mouse. I got this model because I really liked the way it felt when I tested the feel of it in-store. The mouse is big enough to fit comfortably in the palm of my hand, and I really like the little thumb rest platform. It's just supportive enough to take the pressure off my hand, but it's not dramatically different from what I'm used to, either (the vertical mouse situation just seemed like a bit much to try to get used to). The faster scroll wheel does take some getting used to, but I really like it so far.

Because I loved this mouse so much I bought a second one to carry with me when I travel, which brings me back to the optical sensor. No matter the surface this tracks amazingly well despite not having a mouse pad or always the most ideal surface. I could go on but the bottom line is this mouse is well worth the money I paid for it and I like it so much I went back to Best Buy to purchase the matching Keyboard. The Mouse and Keyboard together have entirely changed my online experience.
