I’m a guy with average-sized hands, yet my previous keyboard, a 75% layout compact mechanical, was becoming difficult to use day-to-day. The elevation and density of the keys kept my hands in an awkward position and typing became a hassle. I was reluctant to shell out more money on a keyboard, so I suffered until I couldn’t take it anymore. This keyboard has been a godsend. Despite there only being one elevation setting, typing has been a breeze. The keys are in the right places for my fingers to easily access. The build is sturdy and firm, unlike less premium plastic keyboards. The battery life is actually insane and the backlighting is perfect for me. I haven’t used it for any gaming, so I am uncertain how it will perform under more stress.

This low-profile wireless mechanical keyboard is definitely a joy to type on. The feel of the keys while typing is pleasant, intended for office users who type up reports and/or manipulate data in various spreadsheets throughout their day. This is not a flashy keyboard by any means, but for its intended purpose it gets the job done with ease. Also, for a wireless keyboard I love the battery life on it! I've only charged it once since I bought the keyboard (it's been about a month now, that says a lot considering I'm connecting through BT).I used a Logitect G915 previously and experienced issues with typing errors due to how sensitive the Clicky switches were. Aside from accurate typing, I have noticed that I am more proficient with daily work, as I migrate between at least two computers at a time in my line of work. The only gripe I have about this keyboard is there are some keys on normal full-size keyboards that I depend on (Print Screen, Pause/Break, etc.) that are not on this computer. It was not included on this keyboard to tighten up the keyboard layout altogether. While this presented a learning curve (especially with a Lock Screen key on the very top right), I was able to overcome it within a span of a couple of weeks.I've been using this keyboard now for about a month and I have not had any issues since overcoming my learning curve with this I/O device. I would highly recommend this keyboard to anyone who's seeking an upgrade to their typing experience overall.

This can limit the mouse's functionality for Linux users. I work between windows Mac and Linux and I was hoping this mouse to be equally compatible across the board. Although this is true for windows and Mac the native compatibility with Linux is lacking and only basic functionality is available. There are workarounds using third party FOSS software but having a login options plus app for Linux would make life a lot better.Overall, while the MX Master 3S excels in most areas, Linux users might face challenges with software compatibility, impacting the full utilization of its features.

I've been using Logitech's k750 solar keyboard for almost a decade, but the battery was starting to no longer hold a charge and there wasn't a way to replace it, so I'd decided to get a new one and wanted to upgrade to mechanical. I upgraded my mouse to the MX3 a few years ago, and wanted to get the keyboard equivalent so they would match and could run off the same dongle... only it wasn't after I had ordered and received the MX Mechanical and was in the process of getting it set up that I discovered that the MX mouse runs on the universal dongle while the MX mechanical runs on the logi bolt, and neither will accept the other. This really needs to be explained on the product page because it seems a lot of other people have discovered the same issue after the fact. ... MoreI've been using Logitech's k750 solar keyboard for almost a decade, but the battery was starting to no longer hold a charge and there wasn't a way to replace it, so I'd decided to get a new one and wanted to upgrade to mechanical. This really needs to be explained on the product page because it seems a lot of other people have discovered the same issue after the fact. Why a mouse and keyboard who are in the same product family wouldn't be able to run on the same technology is baffling to me.The keyboard itself is great. I like the clickyness of the keys, and I like how you can customize the button glow to several different patterns based on preference. The only reason I'm not giving it a full 5 stars is because I now have to use two separate USBs to run two Logitech products, and that seems like a waste.
The size is your standard keyboard with numerical pad. The keyboard has some weight to it but it’s nice when you put it on your lap. Has a keyboard feet to put it on a slight angle for comfort, but only one angle. Tolerable. Has quick action, it connects via Bluetooth on my laptop, iPad, and phone, and switches smoothly. I’m pretty impressed with that. I received the tactile keys, and it was perfect… Strokes are smooth and bounces with ease. It does come with an option for USB connection plus charging cord. HOWEVER, I only wish that the keyboard had an actual spot to store the USB instead of having another loose part lying around. Overall, I’ve had it for almost 3 weeks now with whatever charge it had coming out of the box. Haven’t charged it yet! I’ve used it every day, varying from 2 hours, and up to almost a 10 hour day for what seems like never ending schoolwork. I would highly recommend it, and would say it’s a great investment. I cannot give it a full 5 stars because of the USB not having a storage space on the keyboard itself when not in use. I was able to use my graduate student discount, which helped a bit with the cost.
I love mechanical keyboards, but sometimes I dont want to sound like I'm tap dancing on plywood in an empty room. This keyboard has a good balance with the haptic and audible feedback it gives. It is just enough to give you that satisfying mechanical feel, but not audibly explosive like most mechanical keyboards are. It is also decent for general gaming. I use it for work and gaming, and I have no issue with either. The multiple bluetooth connectivity is also a big plus, which can also be used for your phone which I use more than I thought i would. The only negative I have is the rubber on the bottom of the collapsible legs. They are attached with an adhesive tape instead of an integrated retention. The first two weeks I had this keyboard I enjoyed it. I thought it was way too expensive for what you got, but I was looking for a pre-built mechanical keyboard that would feel much more comfortable to type on than what I currently had. Typing feels a bit “pingy.” The spacebar in particular feels a bit loose. After I set it up, I noticed I could not have an always on backlight. This was not a dealbreaker for me but I thought it was odd considering the price point. the logitech software (that is required) would instantly fail to recognize my keyboard as active as soon as I connected it. I also didn’t think this was that big of a deal, since my keyboard continued to work and perform fine. That is until suddenly the keyboard began acting strange. If I stopped using the keyboard for a few minutes at a time, it was like the keyboard “went to sleep” and if I started typing on it again it would have to “wake up” and there would be a delay between my typing and the letters appearing. Eventually this turned into the keys getting “stuck” and letters appearing over and over onscreen (for example, “aaaaaaaaaaa”.) This happened regardless of connection via bluetooth, bolt, or even having it plugged in via wire. I tried every single troubleshooting trick, and discovered this is a common problem. Of course, all this began happening for me outside the return window, so now I’m stuck with an overpriced keyboard I can’t use.
The MX Mechanical Keyboard stands out for its exceptional responsiveness and speed. Initially, I found it to be almost too fast, requiring a brief adjustment period to get accustomed to its quick reaction times, compared to what I used before which was the regular full keyboard from apple. As someone with a petite frame, I discovered that using a wrist rest holder significantly improved my typing experience. This keyboard is just okay at best !The switches are "okay" but the abs key caps seem cheap. Not getting PBT double shot key caps in 2024 is a no brainier. I would recommend spending a little more and get a much better board with hotswappable switches, which this one doesn't have.Connecting multiple devices is super easy, but trust me, the number one thing to consider while purchasing a mechanical keyboard are how it feels to type on, and how much is the modularity on it, in 2024 I would say. There are just SOOO many better options than this one for lesser and a little more money both today. My recommendation would be, to get a :1. Keychron has much cheaper keyboards than this one, but the cheap ones have a lot of issues but the slightly expensive ones (around 130-200$) all of them are a easy recommendation.4. Check out the ASUS strix scope in 96, it's an amazing keyboard.5. With a slightly larger budget, check out NuPhy Field and Gem. They are great !Can also checkout the ASUS RoG Azoth which has way better prelubed factory switches and sounds amazing too with hotswappable board, excellent key caps and insane battery life. The good thing about this keyboard is that it has native software support for macOS which most keyboards I mentioned miss !But do you need it ? I doubt that.
I upgraded from a Logitech MK270 combo that I used for working while traveling. I needed a new mouse and discovered the MX Anywhere, so I splurged on a matching MX Mechanical to be the total replacement. This keyboard is a good solid build, surprisingly heavy when I picked it up. The keys have a great tactile feel. Many other keyboards, even the mechanical, have a mushy feel for me. I am a fan of the Unicomp buckling spring keyboards, which I still use. The MX Mechanical makes a great companion keyboard for travel. I especially like the easy setup with the online Web Connect; I never liked installing software just to link the receiver to a different device. My first MX had a sticky Backspace key, but Best Buy made return and replacement super convenient. The second keyboard (I type this with) is perfect.
