Love to Dream Swaddle Up Original Hip Dysplasia 1.0Tog White Dreamer Medium
Swaddle UP has the distinction of being a zip-up swaddle that allows baby to sleep with their arms up. This natural position gives baby access to their hands for self-soothing (they can suck on their fingers right through the fabric), while the fabric wings protect little faces from fingernail scratches. This one is specially designed with a wider fit at the bottom so that it can be worn over a hip dysplasia harness or brace. Swaddling helps your baby feel more secure, calms their natural startle reflex and helps them stay asleep longer. Swaddles are also safer than loose blankets in the crib or bassinet. The Swaddle UP is incredibly easy to use: the zipper is quick and quiet (many other swaddles use Velcro), and it stays on all night without any breakouts. The two-way zipper allows for diaper changes without removing the swaddle. Parents also appreciate the super soft fabric: it's breathable and not too thick, to reduce the risk of overheating. The swaddle fits snugly, so no extra wrapping is needed. But unlike a traditional swaddle, the Swaddle UP is roomier around the hips, leaving space for baby's legs to move freely and promoting long-term hip health.

For the babies already used to LTD swaddle up position, having a product that accommodates a pavlik harness or a rhino brace makes this huge adjustment easier for both parents and babies to cope with. THANK YOU for having such a product. Some feedback: a longer zip would make getting into it easier with a rhino brace (no issues with the pavlik) as the position is more rigid. A bundle price for two would be amazing or option to buy a second at a discounted price- it's already an expensive journey and we thought we might be out after 6 weeks, but we have another 3 months of a rhino brace 16 hours a day. It would be nice to purchase a second one, but I can't justify the expense.

I bought this swaddle for my 4 months old baby who has mild hip dysplasia. She doesn't need to wear hip harness but it is recommended that her hips are not obstructed and can open widely when she is sleeping. I chose to buy this transition bag because I find that other sleep sacks are not wide enough for her hips. I love this swaddle, the material is great and I love that you can unzip the arms because she is at the age where I need to transition her out of her swaddle

Love to dream Is one of the only companies who make hip harness sleeping bags. It was very hard to find one for our bub but we ordered it and had to look no further! She loves it. The material is amazing you can feel it's good quality so worth the price. You can't put a price on comfort. It's also great it has the option of arms in or out so suits any baby any age depending on what size you get.Thank you!

My daughter wore a pavlik harness for the first 7 weeks. By week 3 we needed a solution to her unsettled sleeping. A traditional swaddle wasn't working. We really should have bought 2 of these because by night 2 both she and we were dependent on it. Even now that her harness is off we have been told to leave her in it for a while because it allows her the space her hips and legs need while she adjusts. If you have a baby in a harness this is a must have.
Our Bub was small AND an early roller! We needed something that was safe for her to be in now that she was rolling, but something that was safe for her being on the smaller side. Highly recommend this great product! Not many swaddles cater for small and early rolling babies, so we are grateful we found these, especially with the cooler months coming…Will definetly be recommending these to other parents, and certainly will be getting transition swaddles in the next size up!
This is a good quality product and I know a lot of babies from our parents group that sleep well in it. Unfortunately my baby is just not into any sort of swaddling 😅 . After lot of frustration and tears we decided just to use the sleeping bags , so we use the swaddle up without the sleeves. This may contribute to his catnapping, but he looks like a happy baby smiling and chatty, so here we go 😋
This pack was perfect for my 6 week old who is quite small but growing quickly. The two sizes was exactly what we needed and having them all come together was convenient and affordable. The swaddle speaks for itself, my baby loves it and I love how easy they are.
We had to move to the hip harness transition bags after our daughter was put in a DBB brace for hip dysplasia. We love the normal swaddle up transition bags, so it was fantastic that we were able to keep using this style of swaddle even with the hip harness. Prompt delivery, true to size (based on her weight), highly recommend. Thank you for making a hip harness friendly product :)
We have only used Love to Dream sleep suits/swaddles since birth and with an unexpected diagnosis of mild left hip dysplasia we needed a new sleep sack in a hurry. The Swaddle Up Hip Harness Transition Bag came in about 2 days from ordering and is perfect for that extra hip room required. It's great quality and super light but also warm enough to help keep Bub asleep all night long & through his naps. I only recommend Love to Dream to my friends and family due to their superb quality & affordability!
With a child that has hip dysplasia, these sleeping bags have been amazing. We can continue to use a sleeping bag to help the baby sleep and fits the legs without squashing them. It is lightweight and easy to use. Definitely would recommend if your child has this condition.
