Luxe Bidet Neo 185 - Self-Cleaning, Dual Nozzle, Non-Electric Bidet Attachment for Toilet Seat, Adjustable Water Pressure, Rear and Feminine Wash

I really liked this at first but after about 6 mos the dials broke. They are plastic with chrome finish and with regular use not sturdy. Have not been able to find replacements. Despite the flow control dial, the water pressure even on the lowest one can literally cause a sore it’s so strong. I had to turn to cleaning dial on part way so some of the water was draining in the toilet and then it was bearable on the lowest water pressure setting. I can’t imagine someone putting it on the Med setting. Could do some serious damage!

Bidet, where have you been all my life!

I love having a bidet, I miss it when I don't have access to a bidet. It washes you where you need it, the water pressure adjust from light to heavy, I have the dual wash which washes you in front and the back.Installation is easy, tools are provided for tightening and the plastic screw attached to the water hose is genius.I recommend everyone should have a bidet in their home and you will thank Luxe Bidet for this wonderful product.

Didn't Fit My Toilet

This unit has a nice look to it, but does stand out to the side of the toilet seat so is not totally discrete. I feel the water flow dial, is much nicer looking than the lever. It does not have a warm water source and doesn't need an electrical plug which makes it less complicated. Since we had installed the Lux 180 on our guest bathroom toilet, and could see that the Lux Bidet 185 was the same as the 180 except for the water flow levers, I felt confident that it would go on easily to our new enclosed trap toilet in the master bath. The directions were easy to follow and they were specific for the model of bidet sent to me, so no scanning past directions for other models. The parts were all there and they include a nice shut off so that the bidet can be shut off separate from the toilet so that small children can't operate it when it is unattended by an adult. First off, we saw that we needed longer toilet seat bolts. We bought those at the hardware store and they worked fine. We thought our troubles were over but our tank connection is hidden in back and up close to the stool back. The shut off was too large for the area and could not be installed so I looked on the internet for trouble shooting as there was no help for that problem in the directions. I found diagrams with the plastic three way connector attached to the tank so we used it that way. We thought we had it installed but it leaked. We couldn't tighten it any more and so decided that our toilet was obviously, a model that is not compatible with these bidets so we tried to remove it. We broke the plunger in our toilet trying to loosen the three way flow valve from our tank. Although the price is reasonable and is a good alternative to the more expensive and more involved installation units, I would advise you to check to see if your toilet model is compatible first. It could save you a lot of frustration and money.

Easy diy project. Works great!

Easy installation. Works as advertised. All I did was follow the instructions and I had it installed in less than 20 minutes. It would've been even quicker except for one of the two plastic screws holding the toilet seat in place was banged up and made it that much harder to take apart. The only extra expense was for toilet seat bumpers to make up for the gap caused by the bidet. It's the only thing not included that I think most people need. I got them for a little over $3.00 at Walmart. If you've been wanting to try a bidet at home or if you already know the difference it makes then I would suggest that this is the model for you. I was disappointed in what was included in the packaging, however. The item raises your toilet seat by over half an inch. When I first hooked everything up, sitting on the seat actually caused the spouts to bend down. I had it seated as far back as I could, at this time. When I tested it without pressure on the seat, it sprayed fine. But upon sitting down to test it, our weight caused the spouts to be pushed against the back of the bowl, and the sprayer did not fully descend. To fix this, I had to bring it forward. This came and my partner put it on and he said it was really easy to install as everything was included in the kit. You have to remove your toilet seat and we have an elongated seat for a handicapped person and it was a little tough getting to the nut to remove the seat it did NOT have anything to do with the Luxe Bidet Neo 185.He said that was the hardest part of the whole installation! He was kneeling in front of it when he turned the nozzle on. It seems really well made and there are settings you can use to clean the nozzles that are all well noted on the handle. There is also a dial where you can adjust your water pressure which is where the learning curve is if you turn it on too fast or all the way on it will really squirt the water and blast you. I am finding that if I slowly turn the dial on the top which is the water pressure dial to LOW then wait for a second and slowly dial it back it is working for me.I really like using this, its cold water...this unit does not have a hot water attachment and that is fine with me. We have a radiator right near where our water source comes in so the water is not a freezing cold and you know its coming so it does not shock you. All in all, I am very happy with this and would happily had bought one if I had known all the things I am telling you all. You really do feel cleaner and you do need toilet paper to dry yourself off but its well worth it!

I absolutely love the Luxe Bidet Neo Toilet Seat Bidet. It was surprisingly easy to install. The only problem was leaking at the metal attachment where it connected to the attachment threaded on to the control panel. All that was needed to remedy the leak was a little plumbing tape wrapped on the threaded end of the control panel water connection. The plumbing tape was conveniently included in the packet with clear instructions entailing the use to prevent leakage that absolutely solved the leakage. The unobtrusive control panel where the user can activate and adjust the water pressure is very user friendly in that it may be adjusted readily with a slight turn of the knob that indicates clearly the place for women's needs and the other indicates “wash” for the man ... MoreI absolutely love the Luxe Bidet Neo Toilet Seat Bidet. There is a handle that controls the hot or cold water with a simple turn and the water pressure is controlled simply by pushing up or down on the handle. The reason that I didn't use the hot water connection is because it takes too long for the water to get hot in my downstairs bathroom. The downstairs bathroom is the one that I use in order not to have to climb the stairs. The Luxe Bidet Neo Toilet Seat Bidet creates a very refreshing clean that surpasses any other bathroom experience that I have ever had. There is never any flakes of toilet paper left behind because the use of the Luxe Bidet completely cleans and refreshes. The built in cover, nozzle guard gate, opens and closes so that the nozzles are covered and protected from any debris. It is in a convenient area in the back of the toilet bowl where it can easily be opened to provide clear spray accessibility. I would like to reiterate that this product keeps me feeling refreshed throughout my day. The Luxe Bidet Neo Toilet Seat Bidet is the best product that I could have ever used/reviewed!

Should Have Purchased Years Ago..

This LUXE Bidet attachment is great. Easy to install. Only takes a few minutes and the tools needed come in the box. I purchased this on a recommendation from a cousin of mine that started saying to me "You make think it is silly but I love my Bidet Attachment" So I bought one, Installed it, and gave it a try. I was worried that since only cold water was used it may be a little shocking at first . It was no problem. I hate to say but I have hemorrhoids and when using toilet tissue it irritates them and makes them worse. The water stream from the Bidet helps tremendously, no irritation and you feel cleaner. It should pay for itself in saving on toilet tissue. I recommend this product and will buy another from my second bathroom.

It doesn't require any electricity, which means no need to run wires and it works even when the power is out.2. Installation was pretty straight forward. Can install on most toilets, no need to buy a new toilet.3. Even though it has no heating, the water doesn't feel freezing cold, it mostly just feels like room temperature.4. It uses clean water from the water source, not from the toilet tank, as I was worried it might when ordering it, so you get the same water you'd have when you use a faucet or a shower, not toilet water in any way.Cons:1. It would be nice to have a dryer that dries you off after washing, but that would require running electric wires, so probably better that it doesn't.2. It would also be nice o have a small compartment where you add a bit of body wash that it would mix in with warm water to wash the front and the period area, but again here too, that would complicate things and cause the product to be more expensive.Overall, everyone that had the chance to try it, loved it and said they wanted one installed on their toilet too. It does the job, giving a fresher cleaner feeling after using the bathroom, with very little effort to install and for a minimal price.

Will never go back to just pathetic TP

Fits on my round bowl. First time using a bidet and it's awesome! I find the cold water super refreshing. It was pretty easy to install even though we have a rigid water pipe. The water pressure is awesome and we barely have to turn the knob much to make it adequately shoot out water. As far as personal cleanliness goes, this thing is a godsend! The woman's function works really well for me, although I do have to lean forward very slightly to get the exact angle I need. Initially I was worried that the blast of water would make things messier somehow but that's not the case at all. I'm literally peer pressuring all my friends and family to get this thing!
