Packaging is sleek and pretty. It's matte but not drying. It doesn't last through eating or drinking for me, the lipstick on the middle of my lips disappear. I usually just wipe off and reapply a fresh layer and it lasts a few hours. Note, I don't use a lip primer and I am someone with oily dry skin combination. I also use lip masks at night for hydration. It may last longer for someone else. It's with a try a lot of colors to pick. If possible, I suggest going in store to see the colors, or just be aware they are a little darker online.

I love the slim style of the bullet and the packaging feels weighty and high quality. It's not drying at all and reminds me of the slim bullet L'Oreal lipsticks that came out earlier this year and I loved! The shade Spice World is on the cooler side of a medium brown making it perfect for fall. In some lighting I thought it was pulling too cool for me, but in the photo and brighter light I love how it looks. The formula is so smooth, slightly blurring, and lasts pretty well while drinking from my coffee cup. The color hangs on while drinking and I much prefer the feel of this formula over Mac's classic matte lipsticks which feel a little dry to me.

I bought Peppery Pink. It is NOT pink, at all, on my very naturally pale lips. It's orangey. Which is a no-go for me. I only wear pink lip sticks. They better suit my skintone and personality. I am going to try one more from this line. The only pink-ish, fushia-ish color I see: Wild Sumac. I have quite a few bullet lipsticks of Powder Kiss, and a few others that are highly pigmented lipsticks by MAC. Hoping they come out with more pale pink colors, a blue pink, yellow pink, etc. I need more pink lipsticks in my life! {{smile}}

It has a finish between satin and glossy, and it doesn't feel super drying like a lot of lipsticks do. It isn't particularly moisturizing, but it doesn't bother me much since I typically use a lip gloss over top of it.I would like to point out that this does somewhat emphasize flaky lips, so definitely don't use this if your lips are extra dry and flaky. I bought Rose Mary, Spice World, Nutmeg Ganache and Peppery Pink. You know how much I love this texture from the number of lipsticks I have. I would say the colour pigment is better than the powder kiss bullet lipstick and easier to apply than the powder kiss liquid lipstick version. The texture is very lightweight, feels soft on your lips on application. Definitely will get my hands on other colours soon. I would say avoid the red colours on ALL powder kiss series lipstick for you cannot get that opaque yet impact red lip looks with them. So surprised this wasn’t a hit on social media, this deserves much more attention.

This is a great lipstick! I love the formula because it is a long wearing, moisturizing matte formula. Very comfortable to wear. The color is buildable on the lips and looks flattering on my brown skin. Beautiful nude tone. The packaging is so sleek and pretty. I love the thin lipsticks because it makes application seamless and precise. This particular color is a go-to, my ""lips but better"" shade. I like to pair it with plum lip liner.
this formulation is by far the best when it comes to wearing matte with having some hydration! Pigmentation is great but the colors are a bit darker than their counterparts. To me that's not a big issue when it comes to pinks colors like Mull It Over which has better opacity on my lips compared to the original powder Kiss formula. Application is smooth with very minimal drag. When comparing Ruby Woo (retro) and Ruby New (PKV) the latter is a tad bit darker. As for duration, I wouldn't say this is a true 8 hour wear. The most fading I see is from the inside of the lips with a touch up needed to refresh the color after a few hours. I find that only lip stains are the best when it comes to withstanding fade from eating and drinking. Overall i love this line!
