Been holding off reviewing this as only been out a couple of times wearing it.OK, so how does it fit - I'm a 40' chest and ordered a Large - perfect fit over a base layer and fleece. Very comfortable and 'rustle' free.It certainly is breathable, which when I first unpacked it, was a tad dubious about, but certainly doesnt make you sweat.Waterproofness....only had 1 short shower when out and seemed to do what its supposed. Cannot vouch for a sustained downpour.TBH, you dont really feel like your wearing it as its very comfortable.I cycle for pleasure so didnt buy it for its waterproof capability as dont plan on being out in bad weather, but it HAD to be breathable, and it is. It leaks! The neck/hood detail is bonkers. It acts as a funnel, allowing water to drip inside very efficiently. Pity I didn't test it at time of purchase (bought when planning ahead for walking holiday)or it would have gone straight back.Also cuff detail would need velcro if I were going to use the item - otherwise another conduit for rain if walking with poles.Pretty, lightweight, nice standout colour for this sole walker, but sadly a totes waste of space - and funds! Would absolutely NOT recommend. An expensive mistake.

I love my coat, I ordered the neon green as I plan to use it for walking and cycling. It kept me dry whilst cycling around Lake Vyrnwy in the pouring rain. I’m normally a UK size 12-14 and ordered a L, which is oversized but just what I wanted. A Medium does fit (ordered Size M for my otherhalf) but it’s a fitted fit, which isn’t what I like when I’m walking or even cycling. I wouldn’t be prepared to pay any more for a coat with no warmth, but we will be ordering additional coats for Xmas presents!

I love this jacket.This is my second one - it's replacing the first one that fell to pieces after being used every day for three years commuting to work.The attention to detail is great - it's very smartly constructed. I love the contrasting turquoise zippers and seams, it really was designed with care.I hope I get at least three years out of this jacket too - and it will keep me dry and visible in my everyday commute to work in a densely trafficked city 🙂
What a beautiful colour ! ( Tiffany blue ) this is my new emergency Mac carried with me in my bag. I’ll be using it during rainy summer adventures, I’ve found it true to size( medium for a 12 )I received a discount for my first order but I would buy full price, as it’s well priced. Have passed your details onto friends and family as I think others will benefit from a packable waterproof as well.It’s passed its first rain check, one of many to come !
This is a well thought out, practical mac. I haven't yet worn it when it got wet, so I can't say if I can manage to replace it in the sac correctly. I hope I can. Full marks for originality. Great colour.While I'm filling this in, may I say that the review of ProtectMyOrder was rather silly, as it insisted that I put answers for fit & performance, when they don't apply!Also, I had to look up MTD and decided, out of its many meanings, here it's Music, Theatre & Dance, and I am interested in the first two at least.
I bought this as a gift for my husband for cycling. I was looking for something light-weight and easily packable. It is definitely both of these things.The customer service was superb. They specially checked the warehouse for an item that said it was out of stock.The neon green has excellent visibility for outdoor activities in low light.The fit is possibly a tiny bit on the small side. My husband is a universal size L and although this jacket fit and zipped well, there wasn't any room for a jumper underneath.Haven't trialled it in the rain yet so didn't feel I could give the full five starts.But we'll be ordering more for the rest of the family!
Took my Mac in a Sac on a short break to Europe and it was so useful. The mac packs away very small, so compact I could fit it in my sling bag.We had light showers and a cool breeze one day and the mac was ideal for this. Kept dry, kept warm and it was easy to repack the mac when dry again.I love the colour (and there is a big range of colours to choose from). Time will tell how well the mac ensures but so far it is doing the job nicely and I would happily recommend it for travels and light walks.
At first I was really happy with this jacket as it is light, easy to take along when hiking or cycling, fabulous colour and pretty waterproof. But after using it only a few times over the last year, it is already severely broken with rips in different places. To me, this is very dissapointing. For this price and from this company, I expected much more. I will certainly not buy this again, nor recommend it. Shame, I hope they will do better in the future!
I love this jacket , totally brilliant in a downpour. Great colour very light in weight . So easy to pack away in a bag to take anywhere.The only downside for me is the length of the sleeve as I am only 5 ft. They are long , I will be able to alter them . It would be good to have petite size . Only reason it lost a star
