I bought this to replace my previous jacket. It is very waterproof and breathable, but the zip in the pocket broke after a couple of weeks - took it back to the shop that I bought it from, but they said it was caused by me putting too much strain on it. - my phone was all that I had put in there! Anyway, decided to try again, buying direct from the manufacturer, so hopefully, if I have an issue, I can get more customer service. I like that the coat is very reflective - I wear it on my bike and out running too.

It's light, well made and keeps the rain out. However, it's not as breathable as I'd hoped and I got very sweaty within a few minutes of wearing it. Because there's no lining (as you'd expect in a lightweight packable) the fabric sticks to sweaty arms which is quite uncomfortable.I'll use the jacket when the weather is a little cooler, as I think it'll be fine with long sleeves under, but for warm rainy summer days... It's not for me.I'll buy a poncho for summer use from this company instead I think.

What a beautiful colour ! ( Tiffany blue ) this is my new emergency Mac carried with me in my bag. I’ll be using it during rainy summer adventures, I’ve found it true to size( medium for a 12 )I received a discount for my first order but I would buy full price, as it’s well priced. Have passed your details onto friends and family as I think others will benefit from a packable waterproof as well.It’s passed its first rain check, one of many to come !

Easy to use website, extremely quick delivery and lovely coat! Very difficult to find a decent breathable raincoat on the market, this one is exactly what we were looking for: very breathable, good material, not too warm (we did not want a warm coat) and protective. Easy to wear layers underneath. The hood is brilliant also, covers large portion of face which prevents it blowing off in the wind. Would highly recommend!
I bought this for a trip to Costa Rica in monsoon season. It’s so lightweight and breathable to wear in hot and wet weather, and I love how small it packs down into the bag. The bag also has a handy bungee on it for carrying or attaching to your bag. It’s super waterproof and even in heavy down pours it’s held up. Great purchase
Waterproof, and windproof, yet very light and easy to pack. I was particularly pleased with the pretty colour - a refreshing change from the usual limited range. And it comes in lots of other colours too!As promised, it is cut generously enough to fit comfortably over a pullover or other warmer layer, but without looking too big if the weather is warmer and you're just wearing a shirt.
I needed a new waterproof jacket as my old trespass one was letting in water. I already have some waterproof trousers from Mac in a sac that are great so wanted to order from them. After reading reviews I ordered a medium. When it arrived it was too big (I’m a size 12) so I sent it back at no cost to me to exchange for a small. The fit is perfect and I’m very happy with it. Love the colour too. Haven’t been drenched in it yet but feel confident about its waterproof powers!
I had a Mac in a Sac rain jacket that I wore out. Ordered another one of the same size and couldn't understand why it fit differently. It was the same high quality materials and workmanship. Although the label said it was the size I asked for, I finally realized that inside the jacket it actually said it was a size smaller. As it worked out, my daughter was able to use it. So I will order another one.
The jacket itself is lovely but the sizing definitely comes up small. I’m generally a size 10 so I thought a small would be easily big enough ( small says size 12 on your sizing chart). The jacket fits ok with just a t shirt underneath but is definitely snug with a jumper on. I really should have returned it for an exchange but needed a waterproof for my hols and the exchange wouldn’t have got to me in time .
I love this jacket , totally brilliant in a downpour. Great colour very light in weight . So easy to pack away in a bag to take anywhere.The only downside for me is the length of the sleeve as I am only 5 ft. They are long , I will be able to alter them . It would be good to have petite size . Only reason it lost a star
