These blushes with their baked mineralized formula were quite revolutionary when they were first released. The shade range is excellent and the colors were fun and thoughtful. Unfortunately, technology and formulas have advanced enough and competitors have put out equal or better formulas so these have become relics. They're a bit dry and chalky, with a fair amount of kick-up in the pan when touched with a brush. They do still have beautiful colours and a lovely finish, but it's nothing special anymore. I just think there are other options out there who to the same thing better and cruelty-free!

2nd time owning Lovejoy. The first time it was a gift from a friend. Lasted me 2 years before I lost it but there was still plenty of product left. 2nd time I made the purchase myself. At £24, I find it a bit expensive but there’s so much wear out of it therefore good value for money. The Mac Mineralize blushes sit beautifully on the skin. A little goes a long way with this product. I’ve tried the shade Petal Power, and another discontinued one that I can’t remember the name of. With Petal Power is is a bright baby pink with a lilac hue. 🌸 It has light shifting gold flecks in it to draw the eyes to high points of cheeks, and wherever else it is placed. If you don’t like shimmery blushes petal power isn’t for you. Honestly you don’t even need a highlighter when using this. A friend originally bought me one of these blushes as a gift and after just one use, I was in love… These Mac Mineralized Blushes are beautifully made! The pigment is gorgeous and each shade has a very pretty natural radiance to it. The lightweight formula glides onto your skin with luminous colour that builds lightly, layer after layer, without heavy coverage. These blushes are also easy to blend and give you a stunning glow. I own the shade Warm Soul, which is a mid-tone beige with gold pearl. For my fair skin, it’s the perfect shimmery nude. I’ve been using this blush for what seems like forever now and I’m not even close to finishing the compact! I love this product, I personally feel that it’s high quality and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

This is a gorgeous flattering blush that is buildable and gives a nice healthy glow. The Mac cosmetics mineralize blush is easy to use, I just brush it across cheekbones and anywhere I want to highlight with a good quality blush brush. I have olive skin and it makes me look like I have been on holiday, a lovely sun kissed glow that is so flattering and pretty. At under $50.00 it’s worth every cent as it lasts for ages. It’s packaged beautifully in a classy black case which is what I would expect of Mac products as they are high quality. I would highly recommend this blush.
I was looking for a blush that was more of a brown tone. I initially thought this would be too light but it's perfect and really mistake proof. I am not one to do all the contouring and highlighting. I will use bronzer and blush. This is super natural and I will swipe it all over and in a rush I will swipe it across my eyelids. The only thing I do not like about it is the packaging, I have such a problem with it. I have broken several nails trying to open it. I even purchase a second one and that one is the same way. But I will put up with it because I love the color and formula so much.
I read all the reviews warning that the formula of Warm Soul had been changed but I took a chance anyway and ordered 2 because it has been my favorite blush in over a decade and I had finally used up my last batch. UNFORTUNATELY, all the warnings (and protests!) were correct. Warm Soul looks nothing like it's original warm, soulful and deep coloring. It's pale and soulless now and applies with no luster, no depth, even layering doesn't help. I will be returning. What a shame. Why mess with a GREAT thing?!?! What is the point? You just alienate loyal customers this way.
