So I did have a love /hate relationship with this foundation but recently I've been loving this. It has the most natural finish like seriously when I powder it with transculent powder it dosen't look like I have any foundation on the skin but the skin is evened out redness canceled minor blemishes too. If I need more coverage I add a bit of concelar. It does get dewy and for somone with oily combo skin it dosen't seem ideal but it gets dewy not oily which is great. When I blot it I am left with satin finish again. It dosen't budge and dosen't settle into lines or porse. This foundation never gets cakey. I like it when I want minimal makeup or when I feel don't wearing full face of makeup.

MAC Face and Body is one of my favorite products by MAC,only surpassed by my holy grail forever-Strobe Cream-which makes a great base for FB. It sets down nicely after application and I find you don't really need to powder afterwards,it's just not necessary. In my opinion it blends best with fingers, but a brush or Beauty Blender work just as well, too. This is one of those products that doesn't require a lot of effort-it blends quickly and doesn't pill or sit in dry spots, etc. I find it to be a very forgiving formula. A little bit goes a long way. The shade range is extensive as are the undertones. If I could fix one thing, I would add SPF to the formula, but this is not a deal-breaker personally as I wear a separate SPF daily anyway. This product wears nicely all day-there's almost no fading or creasing. This is just an all-around great product. I can see it working on all types of skin. I have seen this recommended by many makeup artists as well. MAC Face and Body foundation is 39$ and can be found on the MAC website, their makeup counters,Ulta, and almost any department store such as Nordstrom or Saks. Again, I highly recommend this for a range of skin types. It's absolutely an iconic product for good reason.

This is one of my favorite foundations of all time. I always go back to it especially during summer because it feels lightweight on the skin and just makes your skin look healthy and radiant. It has light but buildable coverage and never looks cakey. It works really well with my dry skin and keeps my skin looking moisturizer all day. Sometimes I also use this to mix with more matte full coverage foundations. I have both the old formula and the newer one, and they’re extremely similar. The new one is maybe a little bit more dewy but I can hardly tell the difference.

I have been using this on and off for years. I always had a bottle of N7 since I was 23 to use as a body makeup. I’m super pale but I like my limbs to be darker. It’s sheer so it’s useable and looks beautiful. I have N2 N3 but I now need N1 since I’ve stopped tanning and self tanning during the winter. I’m now 40 but this stuff still works better than anything else I’ve tried. It make your skin look like skin and I don’t like the new product. Not for me. This you can mix with anything and I’m sorry to see it disappear from MAC.

I appreciate the lightweight and buildable coverage of this foundation. It tends to provide a natural and dewy finish, giving the skin a radiant look. The formula is designed to be versatile, suitable for both face and body, making it a go-to for achieving a consistent complexion. It's known for providing a sheer to medium coverage, allowing for a buildable and customizable look. Easy to blend, offering a seamless application.

Holy Grail - please do not discontinue!

I have been using this foundation since I was 15 and I was devastated to find out that MAC is looking to replace the original formula with the new Studio Radiance. This is one of those holy grail products I thought would be around forever, especially considering how many MUAs carry this in their kit. Although the company claims that the new Face & Body is not a new/reformulated product, but a repackaged product with a new name, it is obvious this is false. The new foundation is much more dewy (hence Radiance in the new name) and the shades are not even the same. This is especially upsetting as I have an olive skin tone and finding a match closer than the C-colour range from MAC's original Face & Body has proven almost impossible. Very disappointed that MAC would choose to get rid of one of their classics as well as lie about it to their customers. (This is nothing against the make up artists working at MAC as most of them have admitted to myself and others that the product is not the same, whether shade wise or finish wise, despite the company's official stance on the matter.) After this announcement I purchased several bottles of the old formula, but unless MAC decides to keep it around, I will sadly look for a new holy grail foundation elsewhere. This was truly the best olive tone sheer/natural finish foundation on the market, and oh so versatile to travel with and apply!

Not a fan

I ended up trying this for a cosplay look as I wanted something lightweight and a touch sheer, but this stuff just makes it look like you're wearing greasy sunscreen with some white cast.I found that it was WAY too hydrating and impossible to build up. It also made my skin look really oily and smudged no matter how carefully I applied it. I tried it with and without primers/powders/setting sprays and nothing worked. Definitely not waterproof, crease resistant, or long wearing.Really bummed as there aren't too many white foundations on the market that aren't extremely opaque and drying

Sheer but buildable coverage...
25 August 2020

I don't use this for my face (I tried once and it broke me out) but I do use on my upper arms and thighs, where I have a few minor blemishes and it works brilliantly. It's a water-based foundation and as a result, has a very thin consistency compared to most other foundations I own. Being so light, it doesn't give a huge amount of coverage, sheer at best, but it's buildable, and I find I get the best results when applying with my fingers, as opposed to a brush or sponge. Expect a light evening out effect but not for it to disguise anything too prominent such as recent scars or dark, prominent pigmentation. Finding the right shade can be tricky as the shade range is quite small. Finding the right shade can be tricky as the shade range is quite small. Also, my arms are a few shades lighter than my face, so anything close to the NC42 I normally use on my face, would be too dark on my arms. One thing to bear in mind is this gives a VERY dewy, radiant finish, and no amount of setting powder will change that. But despite not being a fan of the dewy look, I always come back to this because unlike every other body foundation I've tried, this is the only one that stays put, in even the hottest and most humid of summer days (a given where I live). The lightweight, leak proof plastic bottle makes it very travel-friendly and I often take this with me when heading away. I just wish it contained some SPF. In my opinion that's the only thing holding this product back from absolute perfection. -> My ‘Nordstrom Beauty Top 7 must-have list’ (My 7 favorite beauty products of all time, focusing mainly on my purchases at Nordstrom) <- < 1.
