The milk is smooth and creamy, the taste is not overpowering, actually quite delicate. I tried it alone and then with Akta Vite, my favourite choice of chocolate drink. I think that, at $2. 25 for an organic product, it has a great price. Plus it's 99% Australian. I can definitely recommend it and I may be buying it again in the future. Perfect to add to smoothies too!

Good oat milk for coffee. The Macro Certified Organic Unsweetened Oat Milk is a 1 litre tetrapack and costs $2. 25I usually use some brand unsweetened oat milk for my coffee and just buy whichever is on special. I mix oat milk and lite milk for my coffee. This one is pretty good and tasty compared to some others. This had a good thicker creamier and nuttier taste where other oat milks made my coffee slightly bitter and tasted more watery. This oat milk is made from atleast 99% Australian ingredients, which is great. I know that most of these plant based milk varieties are mostly water and then it depends on the % of the oat or other ingredient. This one has 14% organic oats. I would buy this as the price was low compared to other oat milk brands when they are on ... MoreGood oat milk for coffee. There’s serving suggestions on the pack such as using in chia pudding, which I’d like to try.

Popular choice for plant-based alternatives to dairy milk. As I discovered after researching, this product is a suitable option for those who prefer a sugar-free or low-sugar diet, having a mild oat-like taste. As Oat milk is naturally free of lactose, soy, and nuts, which makes it suitable for people with lactose intolerance, soy allergies, or nut allergies. I did appreciate its organic and unsweetened nature, however, it did appear to be watery and it didn't really work too well with my Weetbix. It is a versatile dairy milk alternative and I did appreciate the fact that the Macro Organic Oat Milk Unsweetened carries an organic certification, especially without the use of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs). Would I buy this milk again? I am unsure as the price ... MorePopular choice for plant-based alternatives to dairy milk. Decent oat milk. Thanks for the Bunch offer This one was right up my alley. I am lactose intolerant so don't drink milk. For a while there was only the option of soy milk and I really didn't like it. Then along came these other options. For a while I tried coconut milk, rice milk, almond milk, then oat milk. It was a game changer. Oat milk is so creamy and so much more to my taste than any of the others. I go through around 4L of oat milk a week hahah. I mainly have it in lattes - on rare occasions I might cook with it or have cereal. I have had a few oat milks that were too watery or had a bit of an unpleasant taste - but most of them are ok and are usually unsweetened so are pretty healthy. Oat milk is apparently great for lowering cholesterol. I've pretty much ... MoreDecent oat milk. Thanks for the Bunch offer This one was right up my alley. Oat milk is apparently great for lowering cholesterol. I've pretty much settled down on buying a couple of different brands when they're on special for $2 a litre (or sometimes less). I tried one "barista" style of oat milk and really didn't like it - it cost a fair bit more aswell, so you don't always get what you pay for with oat milk. This oat milk was comparable to the others I usually buy, and would buy this again if the price is right

It's a matter of personal preference, though, and oat enthusiasts will likely appreciate this characteristic. In conclusion, Macro Organic Oat Milk Unsweetened 1l is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a nutritious and environmentally conscious dairy-free alternative. Great Aussie Dairy Substitute. This is easily found in the long life milk aisle at $2. 50 - 1 litre. It's long life packed, so great to have on hand in your pantry if you enjoy oat milk or are lactose intolerant. I made a rice pudding when my sister was staying with me and she absolutely loved it. I didn't tell her that it was oat milk and she couldn't spot the difference. I, on the other hand, could tell the difference. The rice pudding didn't taste as creamy as it normally would. This cooked up well as diary milk would, so it's a great substitute for the lactose intolerant. It's sugar free which is a plus. It's not a product I'd purchase as I don't have a dietary requirement for dairy free milk. * 4 Health Rating* Made in Australia from at least 99% Australian ... MoreGreat Aussie Dairy Substitute. OK but not great. I recently received a sample of the Woolworth Macro Organic Oat Milk Unsweetened, and I have to say, it's just okay. While it does have its merits, it falls short in a few areas for me. On the positive side, I appreciate that it's organic and unsweetened, which aligns with my dietary preferences. It blends fairly well in coffee and cereal, providing a creamy texture that's reminiscent of dairy milk. However, the taste leaves something to be desired. It has a somewhat bland and neutral flavor, lacking the richness and depth I've come to expect from other oat milk brands. Additionally, it tends to separate and become a bit watery when heated, which can be a bit off-putting in hot beverages. Best for its price category. OVERALL: Cheap & healthy milk substitute – best at their price point category. Will def buy againTHE GOOD:Flavour: Better than price-comparable cheaper options (tho see comments in the ‘improvements’ below). Used for smoothies, pancakes (see pic), and coffee (does impact the taste tho – I like it as it’s sweet)Healthy: 4 health-star rating, organic, only 3 ingredients: filtered water, oats and salt – with majority of competitors (incl. Good. First time trying oat milk so I don’t have an alternative similar oats milk to compare to as I usually buy almond milk. Thinner in consistency than almond milk. I had this in my smoothie and in oats and both came out good, blended in well just like the almond milk i would use without giving any strange aftertastes. Tried a little on its own for review purposes and it was not nice in flavour. Had a flour like after taste. The selling point for me with any nut milk is the ingredients list. I always look for very minimal added ingredients. Ingredients list in this milk is great and clean. The % of oats (14%) is adequate, but would like this to be higher. Great that it’s organic!Packaging doesnt stand out on shelves. Was hard to spot amongst all the other milk ... MoreGood.
