While I prefer the loose leaf (just personal preference as the “silk” tea bags contain plastic) the flavour of the tea itself is beautiful. It’s not as light and airy as some earl greys can be which I prefer as I like a bolder flavoured cup. This is definitely one of my go to teas along with other flavours in the Madura range

I've been drinking Earl Grey for many years and Madura never leaves a bitter taste in my mouth like Twinnings does. I prefer loose leaf in a teapot and was disappointed when they took it out of the supermarkets. Delighted though to be able to buy it online and still enjoy it.

A lovely tea as always. Been drinking Madura earl grey for a few years. Never to Smokey or earthy.The loose leaf tea also means less waste after each brew.
Earl Grey doesn't appeal to all tea drinkers but this blend is refreshing, piquant and just that little bit interesting! A great favourite in our household.
I have been drinking the Earl Grey tea for years and it is consistent in quality and just with a hint of Bergamot. Just the way I like it.
Madura Earl Grey is the one constant in my life! No other brand lives up to the Madura leaf infused bags of Earl Grey! I get all my tea from Madura as they are local and the best quality teas. Earl Grey is my fav with their Chai a close second! If you get a chance go do a tour of their factory and see how their tea is produced, if you're a tea lover you will find it very interesting.
I like it because it is low in caffeine compared to other teas. I love the loose leaf version- gives a more full-bodied cuppa. I use a metal infuser for a single cup - I have at least 6 cups per day. Madura Earl Grey is my 'vice'
Not sure if it is me but Early grey seems to be less intense. However I do enjoy this tea. Always prefer leaf tea.
