However, the unit was sent a day later than the stated delivery date on the site, therefore, we had to source an alternative unit from a local supplier. When it did arrive (I reiterate, a day later than stated), it was exactly what we had wanted.We ordered the item before 3pm and only purchased it from FFX because of the stated delivery date on their site. This was, therefore, both inaccurate and misleading.The item gets 5 stars, FFX’s pricing gets 5 stars, free delivery gets 5 stars, however, the late delivery gets zero stars. It made our purchase superfluous to our needs.

Bought this to replace my old 18v drill, wasn’t quite sure if it would be as powerful due to the battery being only12v but since I already have a Makita circular saw with the same batteries on the CXT Range I couldn’t pass up the chance to have another Makita power tool for this price. Not disappointed it has great torque for the size & feels very sturdy, great asset to my toolbox.

I upgraded from the HP331DZ as the chuck assembly had too much play when drilling holes. The upgraded HP333DZ has a lot less movement. Only gripe I would have is that I would have preferred that Makita offered the upgrade to my original as it would appear it was a known design flaw.
A perfect body only replacement for my older CXT combi drill with a small upgrade. Good value
Bought this drill as already have a range of makita tools and 5 batteries to fit it already, it’s perfectly powerful enough, have drilled a brick wall with it and done the with ease. Recommended
Up to the usual makita quality. Powerful, lightweight and handy around the house. Gets into those small spaces that the 18volts can't.
