As expected from Makita, this is a well-engineered, high quality product. The difference between this mitre saw and cheaper alternatives is clear and obvious.
Great saw but the vibration and noise when you pull the trigger is annoying and off putting. Nothing wrong with the cutting so well worth the money.
Makita tools are always quality , bit more more money than other brands but will last forever
Decided on an upgrade and boy what an upgrade.This is a fantastic bit of kit. Undecided between this and the 300mm but to be honest, this does it all anyway.
The supplied Makita blade slipped in the arbor. It appears to be too thin. Bought a replacement dewalt blade which is nominally 0.2mm thicker and the arbor tightened up on it fine.Might be a one-off. Not the level of quality control I expect from Makita.
