The Mario & Luigi series of RPG titles started in 2003 on the Game Boy Advance and has had new releases every few years since, with "Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam" being the latest release.Bowser's Inside Story, which is the third game in the series, originally launched on the Nintendo DS in 2009 and is arguably the best in the series so far. The humor, gameplay and story is immensely enjoyable, and this remaster of that game gives the game a new coat of paint to bring it up to 2019 standards.Definitely a worthwhile purchase.

As a kid, this was the first Mario RPG that I ever played, and as a kid I really didn't understand the game so I never picked it up and played it again and ended up selling it to buy another game, as a lot of kids my age did. As an adult now, I picked up this game and it did include a second game and I thoroughly enjoyed and had a wonderful time playing Mario and Luigi Bowser's Inside Story, and can say that after finishing it that it was extremely fun, and I would definitely Play It Again on a harder setting. LET THE BUYER BEWARE: THIS IS THE WORLD EDITION. Does it play in any North American 3DS family of systems? Yes. Does it have the World Edition logo on it? Yes. Does it play in English? Does it come in a red case? No. If you're just looking to play the game, this will work fine. If you're a collecting wanting the red case and not wanting the World Edition Logo, then you'll want to pass over this one.
What we ordered and what we got is not even close. It looks like some counterfeit copy of a DS game that was just the game cartridge, no packaging or anything. So what is advertised and what you get is NOT the same had no idea I was getting a copied version of a game
I got the game for x mas in 2013 and I have loved it ever since, combat was perfect, the ability to dodge and counterattack was unique, the music is great, and the best part is Bowser, hand down. The way the wrote him is amazing, which made fall in love with this character. It hurt when I was forced to sell my ds AND GAMES when I got my 3ds (we didn't know the 3ds was backwards compatible) so I am SO HAPPY to get to play it again.
An amazing game overall! It has all the great features of the original with an engaging story, likeable characters and a great sense of humour while giving the graphics a modern twist which looks lovely. Along with this, it has an extra story for those who want to do more and it has all the fun of the first story with a collection of new characters and a fun new battle style to play around with. It's definitely my favourite out of the Mario and Luigi RPG series and this remake doesn't fail to impress! Perfect for fans of the original, the series or even new players as it's very inviting for those who haven't played before while also providing a speed-up button for players who want to get straight into the story.
no stars if I could, first they sent the wrong game, we received eas not as pictured , a totally different game, and the wrong type of game for the @DS we have, also It did not come in a case that is pictured, it came in a little plastic case that was just enough to cover the little game and in a mail bag. This is a Christmas gift, or was but now I have to return this game and get a refund. I am done with 3rd party sellers from Walmart.
The package arrived today in a very small letter envelope. The game seems to be in perfect working condition. Took a day longer than the approx. timeframe, but this is not their fault. The game is one of the best successors to the Mario RPG (SNES) games. Very witty and outright hilarious at some points. If you loved the SNES Mario RPG do not hesitate and get this one immediately. Even if you never played the golden original, it is a great RPG adventure that gives a totally new perspective on the whole Mario vs Bowser situation.
Never played the original so this was the first experience of the game for me. Recent played Dream Team and then jumped onto Bowser's Inside Story. Have to say I do love the music again, the design of the levels and enemies are enough to keep me interested and it looks graphically eye catching. Story is bizarre to be honest but I have to say, it is still an enjoyable ride for sure. Same goes for the Bowser Jr stuff. I like the gameplay a little less on that but still had hours and hours of fun on that. I can hardly say much I dislike about the game in general. It's just a good package all round. Fun getting to play as a range of characters through the Koopalings, Bowser, Bowser Jr and all the minions. Nice to see a bit of character put into each individual here. ...
