I cancelled it and good thing I was still able to get the same discounted price here. I got the 256gb for only 54k+, of course this shop never disappoints. I also got my macbook here. I also got lucky with my freebie. I got the charger magsafe dock which also has charging feature for my watch and airpods. There are other legit shops here in shopee but this is the best!Delivery was very secured, rider even asked for my ID to verify.

Clunky, awkward design makes this phone uncomfortable to use

I upgraded from an iPhone 8 to the iPhone 16 because Verizon offered a great trade-in deal, so it cost me less than any other phone would have. I am not happy with the decision I made.The 8 was the last generation of iPhone with a physical "home" button, and I miss it. Having to rely on touchscreen interaction makes the 16 relatively sluggish and stubborn. Right, because I want the phone to double in weight and thickness and make it even harder to get in and out of my pockets. (Ultimately I have no choice here. I will have to get a case. Which raises the question: why design the phone this way?)Apple is very proud that the iPhone screen goes all the way to the edge of the phone. Why is this helpful?? It just means that you are more likely to accidentally activate the screen, or something on the screen, when you pick up the phone.And that brings me to the buttons. The edge of the phone is *lined* with sensitive buttons, like the idiot camera button which they positioned exactly where the heel of your right hand will hit. This makes it very, very difficult to pick up or use the phone without accidentally triggering a function you don't need. I've accidentally opened the camera app while texting many, many times.Apple is also very proud of the camera in this phone. They should not be. The official reviewers are lying to you: the iPhone 16 camera is no better than the iPhone camera from ten years ago. All they've done is added a pile of broken, janky features that do not work as promised.The phone OS experience overall is very frustrating. They really, really want this thing to be making decisions for you, and it just isn't any good at any of that.I am, of course, stuck now in this Verizon contract, so I'll have to try to get comfortable with this thing. But I absolutely hate it, and if I could afford to ditch it and start over, I would.

Good phone depending on your needs :)

Overall, I would say the phone has great features compared to my old XR however I’m quite disappointed by how quickly it overheats, volume and Siri’s poor performance. I noticed that both the iPhone 15 and iPhone 16 overheat quite quickly compared to my old XR that didn’t heat as fast nor as hot. Especially during games when you can feel the screen becoming hot. I feel as though the volume increases too quickly if that makes sense? Like for every one press of my button would lead to a one unit increase for my XR but for the iPhone 16 every one press of my button leads to a 3 unit increase in volume. I do enjoy that it sounds louder than my XR but you can’t get the volume to exactly level you want even if you use the slider. Other than these two issues and a common complaint of the photo app layout (which can easily be changed), I would say the Iphone 16 is an improvement to the XR; battery works longer and charges much faster and I really enjoy the side button for faster access allowing you to take photos without losing the moment. I also enjoy the display of shortcuts when swiping down from the top right corner. It makes everything more convenient and easier to access as it has three display screens. One for the usual shortcuts, one for music and one for more specific shortcuts that can also be accessed from the first display. Of course the camera is much better than the XR, I thought I wouldn’t like the two cameras instead of the one camera or three but it looks better in person. I was also surprised to find out about the matte back of the phone. I think it’s plastic but I actually really like it as it won’t crack requiring less repairs. I also enjoy that the ringer on/off switch was replaced with a button. Instead of having to check the side of your phone you can just press the button to see if it is on/off on your screen and also has a shortcut with the rest of the shortcuts. One other feature I think is a great improvement is when you receive a alarm on your phone or a call it doesn’t take up the whole screen when you are watching a video or playing a game. It shows up in the top left corner where you can accept or turn off without disrupting your video or game. Overall, I think the iPhone 16 is good and has some improvements to the iPhone XR however there are some inconveniences depending on your needs. I would rate it a 7/10 as it is a good phone but definitely some improvements that can be made to make it better :)

I got a Japanese version with camera shutter sound

The product is new, original and in the original box.The only issue with it is that it has a camera shutter sound which you cannot remove. I had specifically chosen a version with no camera shutter sound, but the item that I received had that feature.I talked with a customer service representative about the issue and if we could arrange a swap of items (same order/purchase, just to send back the phone and get a new one guaranteed that I'll get a right phone this time) and they couldn't accomodate that. According to them, I had to go through the return process, validating the return, refund and then I could place a new different order and wait again for the new phone delivery . Not as good as it should be

Service from MediaMkt was fantastic - 5*But I am disappointed with the phone - maybe my expectations were too high, but I have had lots of problems with the screen freezing, the photo app crashing and being unable to connect it to my iMac. It is slow loading lots of things, and frequently switches to 3G when it should be on 4 or 5G (my old phone on the same network didn't have this problem). There are things that my old SE 2020 phone could do smoothly that this can't. Yes, the screen is lovely; yes, the camera is great; yes, the sound quality is much better - but until the bugs are sorted out (and I'm sure they will be) this is disappointing for the price.

Very good all around

Bought it for someone else who had an iPhone X 64GB, so it was a huge upgrade. I was wondering whether it made more sense to buy a 15 instead since the upgrade was not really visible in daily usage. But since it's been so long, and the price difference is not that great, might as well just get the latest with A18 and use it until iPhone 20.Extremely smooth and easy to use; A18 is supposed to be AI ready when it comes out, so we shall see. Also got a set of third party MagSafe charger, very convenient and functions as bedside phone holder for easily checking out time and status. Personally, I reckon if you're on 14 or even 15, then defo NOT worth it unless you want to sell the current one when you can still get a good price for it to compensate the cost. Otherwise there's no difference because the improvements are marginal.The user did experience an unexpected reboot where the screen suddenly went black and the phone restarted by itself. For now, I think it's safe to chuck it under the category of "new phone glitches", should improve as iOS upgrades.

iPhone 16

Very pleased with this phone after the disappointment with the iphone15 pro max that I bought last year. The photos that I had taken with that were dreadful, especially low light ones. The software just pixelated and made so many of them grainy. I was even getting blurred photos that I had never experienced with my iphone11. I was able to take that phone back as I only had it for one week when I discovered those problems. So as I prefer iPhones to Android I hoped the basic iPhone 16 would be better than last years models and I'm pleased to say it is. I am a happy Apple customer again and thanks to John Lewis for easy ordering and speedy delivery.
