Bought this BBQ on the weekend and it worked very well. Good quality build with even better performance. only complaint I have is that it is a mission to put together, needs two people for sure and the little plastic wheel covers are flimsy and I broke one trying to put it on but dont let that keep you from buying this BBQ because its is brilliant and reasonably priced.Could not find a Matador branded BBQ cover so just bought a generic one which fits to protect it.

Best value for money kettle bbq on the market. Did alot of research and testing of others and easily the best unit for the coin. Maintains temperature well, comes well packaged and the materials are easily on par with the more expensive brand which cost significantly more for a lesser spec model

Purchased this BBQ this weekend and I’m so happy with it! I cooked chicken wings and a sweet corn and a split chicken on it yesterday and it was the most mouthwatering smokey chicken we’ve ever had! In addition to lump charcoal I put a handful of soaked smoking chips on top of the coals to really get that Smokey flavour. The assembly was not too difficult, I did it on my own. The quality of the bbq is fantastic. It looks great on my patio. Buying some charcoal baskets next!

Bought a few weeks ago and noticed on assembly the bottom part of the bowl had a patch of fine cracks in the enamel coating, that was disappointing but none the less doesn't interfere with it's use so I will cop that..suppose you get that with the cheaper bbqs. Maybe should of got the Weber?
I bought this BBQ over a year ago and it’s great. Really good features like Temp gauge and ash catcher at a great price. No rusting or scratching since we’ve had it - the quality of the coating is really good. The lack of accessories is something to consider such as Charcoal bins or different grills but there are enough other brands that can still be used in the BBQ.
I have had some other charcoal bbqs over the years and yes it is the best way to cook!This BBQ had a little bit is assembly to do but is great build quality, has hinged sides on the grill for easy charcoal loading or adjustment for heat, it has an ash catcher and a thermometer. Great BBQ and a far better buy then some of the competitor brands
We're very happy with this BBQ. We wanted a fairly simple one as we're new to charcoal cooking. This one does a great job and feels sturdy. It's pretty easy to clean as well and seems like great value for the price. Assembling it was a little fiddly - you definitely need two people for this. But other than that it's been great so far.
I bought mine last week and have been happy with it's performance. However construction was complicated by some of the rivnuts on the legs not installed. I would have returned unable to build except that I had a rivnut tool! Otherwise a good kettle.
First I would like to say I am a BBQ enthusiast.When I first bought this grill, I wont lie I wanted to bag this thing out so bad. I have now owned this grill for 6 months almost grilling and smoking on it everyday! For the price you pay this grill is built extremely well. Holds temps well, and when smoking I could dial into my desired temperatures quite easily.
We’ve had the q 2 weeks now and so far very happy. The assembly took some although I delegated this to our 14 yr old son who spent some time hiding in the box it came in. Assembly took about 2 hrs but my son was in no hurry and did an awesome job.First bbq needed about an hour seasoning which you need to consider for your first outing to get rid of smell.We’ve done a whole chicken and chicken pieces and both were excellent. Heat is very even and consisted and lasts hours.Recommend getting the heat bead holders and the chimney starter.
