At 7% bigger, the Parker Jotter XL ballpoint in Alexandra Matte Grey features a grey metal barrel and brushed stainless steel cap. I do like a Parker Jotter and this one is rather lovely. All metal construction, smooth push-button and takes a regular Parker refill or similar. The Rose Gold is a Matt finish, so is not garish and "blingy" and it is a 'soft' rose gold - more gold than rose. The push-button and the Parker arrow pocket clip are shiny but that just makes a nice hi-light. A bit chunkier than the standard Jotter but not big and heavy. A good every-day biro with a bit of chic.

I like my regular Jotter as an everyday carry item in my leather notebook case. But for long writing sessions, it's a little too thin and small for me. In comes the Jotter XL, which is bigger and better. A great companion for a long note-taking session at a conference, and mostly made of metal. Be warned though that the threads joining the two sections together are plastic, so lateral forces can easily break this pen. It's the pen so nice I bought it twice!

I picked up this Parker Jotter XL because I was interested in this style of pen as a daily carry. The size is perfect. The ink is great and the only issue that I might have with this pen is that the matte finish is a little bit too slick and makes it a little challenging to hold on a regular basis. Other than that, I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an everyday carry pen that wants a product that takes an excellent refill in a variety of ink colors and styles.

Parker monochrome ballpoint pen. Do not bother purchasing this pen. What was once a brand that stood out from the rest, it’s now a watered down, cheap look and feel pen that IS NOT worth $50. It also comes packaged in a cheap, plastic packet that is simply embarrassing, especially if you were purchasing this pen as a gift. I’ve seen nicer looking pens from $2 shops. It’s a BIG thumbs down for me.
Awesome pen. Writing experience has officially went up a notch. Smooth feel. The bit of weight in the hands feels nice. Not too heavy though. 4 out of 5 because even though it’s an XL it’s still a bit smaller than I’d like, but maybe that’s just my preference. Great pen overall.
This is a extra large Parker pen meaning it’s a little longer and a little wider than the Parker original Jotter pens. Making this pen easy comfortable to use and hold. I also live the gold colour of this pen. It’s a Parker pen which means it’s a quality pen and makes a beautiful gift.I gave this pen to my mother for her 80th birthday. She absolutely loved it. I had a Parker along time ago. And remembered how thin it was to hold one. Which I am not quite a fan of. I have weak hands and it is hard to hold on to this slick metal. I thought this was going to be a little thicker than the original Jotter. I can't tell the difference. It would be really cool to have a small band of rubber built into the end of it to not make it so slippery.Alot of people do not like the blue ink it's provided with, but I DO, finally for a change, instead of black. I got the 1.0mm because I can run Schneider 1.4mm refills in these. So much smoother. I am using the refill that it came with, at times it leaks. And the gel refills- Parker says they are medium, and looks like fine point when writing. The packaging on those did not say what mm ... MoreI had a Parker along time ago. Pen is good, all metal and says it was really made in France. The packaging looked worn and said 2021 for the yr of manufacturing. I feel lucky because some reviewers in various places said they were getting pens from China/ India. Also the connecter inside is metal. I cannot fault the pen, that's on me. But there are other pens that I have come to like much more. Parker makes good pens.
