I take alot of notes in my job and was looking for a quality pen to use daily. I've had several Parker pens over the years, but this does not live up to expectations. This is lightweight, but feels cheap in the hand. The clip is too long on the pen body, hitting my hand at an awkward point. I could live with that, but the biggest issue for me is that the ink cartridge moves within the pen when you're writing causing an impression of instability and feels like it's too small for the pen body. I exchanged for another refill thinking perhaps it was an off cartridge, but the same thing happened. Overall, this misses the mark. I'll be returning it.

I ordered another two as I was really pleased with them.The engraving is such a bonus and gives the pen that added finish and makes such a wonderful personalised gift.My only request would be that you offer a telephone order service for those customers who are unable to place orders online.Many thanks.

I’ve used Jotter pens for many, many years, but for 2 reasons I am disappointed with my new Jotter pens compared to my old Jotter pens:1. The bottom edge of the barrel of the new pen is only plastic (black, blue, whatever color you purchased) vs a chrome steel edge on my old Jotter of about 1/4 inch. I am afraid without that 1/4 chrome edge, the bottom of the plastic barrel will eventually split.2. The clicker at the top that lowers/raises the ball point pen has a very cheap feel when you click it vs the old pen which has a very firm feel when clicking the top.
Parker pens have always been reliable and the XL Monochrome maintains the standard. A beautiful balance in the hand which is complemented by the smooth writing refill. The XL Monochrome is slightly bigger than the Parker jotter which is perfect for those who enjoy writing with a larger, well-balanced implement. Highly recommended.

I thought this was going to be a little thicker than the original Jotter. I can't tell the difference. It would be really cool to have a small band of rubber built into the end of it to not make it so slippery.Alot of people do not like the blue ink it's provided with, but I DO, finally for a change, instead of black. I got the 1.0mm because I can run Schneider 1.4mm refills in these. So much smoother. I am using the refill that it came with, at times it leaks. Bought this as a leaving present. The pen is great, but the engraving is so disappointing. It’s there but you can’t see it. Makes the whole engraving thing just not worth it. I did complain and the reply was that it looked exactly as it did in the picture. Maybe it did, but you just expect that it’ll be really smart - right? So overall, disappointed with this purchase.
