I really love this colour elixir soft matte lipstick. I chose the colour rose dust which I absolutely love. It goes on the lips perfectly and did not dry out my lips like some mattes can. It also lasted a good 6 hours before I needed to reapply. These lipsticks are also really affordable. I will be definitely be investing in more colours I highly recommend.

I've been using this for a week now. Firstly the colour is beautiful. It is bright, vibrant and the smell is gorgeous! Never known a lip colour to smell so good. Unfortunately the colour just doesn't last long at all. It would disappear from the middle of the lip and just leave a dark shadow around the outside.

I have had an opportunity to try Max Factor Colour Elixir Soft Matte in Faded Red shade, it is a liquid lipstick. Normally I am not a fan of matte lipsticks, I find them difficult to apply on my lips but I loved the colour of this particular lipstick and I was intrigued with a fact that the matte effect will be achieved after using liquid lipstick which I find easier in application. For the evening and special occasions I apply more and it gives fabulous effect. I am delighted with this lipstick and I definitely highly recommend it!

The product comes in a sleek container, which has an aesthetic appeal. The wand to apply the lip colour is easy to remove and does not come out with too much on the wand. The lip colour goes on smoothly and has a soft touch. The colour that I had was a rich red, which was near enough the same colour as the external colour on packaging. The product went on well, and stayed on for a long period of time, without having to reapply even with drinking and eating.
The tube feels luxurious and looks great. The colour is really pretty, you can wear a small amount for a quite natural hint of colour or layer it up and wear a bit more for a bolder look. As a rule I'm not fond of the wands you get with lip colours because I can never seem to line my lips properly but this one didn't cause any issues. It lasted well on my lips, but also lasted well on my coffee mug afterwards (even after being in the dishwasher twice it was still there) I would buy again and would buy in other colours too!
Firstly let me confess, I rarely wear lipstick etc as it always makes my lips so dry and you have to reapply a thousand times before lunch and I just don’t have that time. BUT I got such a lovely surprise after trying this lip elixir! My lips were moisturised but it still looked like a lipstick (not a lipgloss) but best of all, the colour lasted all morning. I will definitely add this product to my regular favourites but maybe next time get it in a few shades lighter as I love nude colours with my skin tone. But what a great , unexpected little find this was!
I was really looking forward to using this product for the first time. The colour was 010 Muted Russet, which is a lovely red/orange colour. The product went on really easily and was not too sticky. I found the colour was perfectly matte. Even after eating and drinking, the colour stayed on my lips and did not rub off at all. My lips also felt lovely and moisturised.
This was my first time using this product and I love it! It is a soft matte lipstick which did not need to be reapplied at all during the course of a days wear. The colour really stands out and it keeps the moisture locked in. Easy to apply, simply apply simple strokes across your lips. It is also really easy to wipe off with no staining left behind. Ideal for everyday wear.
This liquid lipstick is very high quality and beautifully packaged, The lipstick applicator is oblique and soft, which makes it very easy to guide. The texture or consistency is not too liquid, so the lipstick as a whole can be applied very easily and precisely. This lipstick doesn't budge even after eating or drinking its still intact Even after 12 hours, the lips still looked great. They were a little faded but still absolutely ok. My only criticism is that I found it dried my lips out
First of all, the colour is very bright! It seemed to look brighter on my lips than it did in the bottle. Because of this, the colour just didn't suit me at all. But, it did last a good few hours before needed to reapply. I only used a small amount of this on my bottom lip and after rubbing my lips together it evenly distributed on both lips, with plenty of colour. This is a good, I'd buy again but in a different shade.
