I was given this product to review. We have always used Maxi-Cosi car seats for our children as the brand is very good. But this is the first time I'm using Isofix front facing one as previously we used the ones with seatbelts that were easy to move between cars. However, this one is definitely more sturdy and feels much safer. It arrived in two parts (like most Maxi-Cosi) and I have to admit I struggled with putting it together. The instructions make it look easy and eventually my husband fixed it so maybe it was just me. Once it was in one piece, it was easy to fit into my car with the Isofix hooks and the seatbelt went in without any issues. It also seems more spacious for my child, he definitely loves it. Overall I am very pleased with it too.

I could honestly tell you in minutes it was set up.Fitting it into the car was also very easy.I do not have Isofix in my car but just setting up with the seat belt was just stress free and so uncomplicated. The seat belt goes through the hi lighted green areas. Just perfect and stress free.The Instructions are straightforward to follow and the instructions are also in the side of the car seat, so you or anyone installing will have this handy.My daughter is 130cm and the car seat suits her really well and she says it is very comfortable. This car seat is slightly underwhelming compared to the outgrown sturdy German-made seat it's replaced. However, it's good quality and does the job. The head and side protectors are particularly good. The seat looks as though it should be simple to construct, but, like some other reviewers, I struggled until I watched the video. Unlike for some car seats, the Isofix is really easy to attach and remove. However, surprisingly, the seat is too wide for my Ford Kuga. It's really difficult to click the seat belt buckle in and out, which is a total pain with a 5 year old who used to be able to at least unbuckle himself from his previous car seat. Even I struggle! We travelled up to scotland over the weekend and although we split the journey up 2hrs x 2 (4hr dirve) he didn't show any discomfort. This must be down the to CLIMAFLOW feature which helps regulate the heat. We have an older 6yrs and sometimes they both like to switch seats. The RodiFix Pro² i-Size is easy to adjust the headrest located at the back you just grip and pull. Our old one it tucked between the seat and back which makes it a bit awkward. You can also adjust the width of the car seat so when you child grows and fills out the seat will still offer maximum protection which is very re-assuring.It's very easy to put together ... The minimal instructions are a bit annoying and as such whilst it does have some ability to recline, I can't yet find a way to sit it back up properly without filling removing the seat. I've not yet had to remove the covers to wash them, but the lack of instructions make me nervous about doing this as they fit very tightly and I won't be looking forward to trying to put them back on. Lastly it's not clear if it can be used with just the seatbelt in a car without ISOFix.Having said that, it's a brilliant seat and a result we've now got 3 of them to have in my partners car and in the grandparents car!

This could just be a personal issue with the size of the gap between the isofix and the seatbelt Plug, but does mean that it is always a challenge to get my son into his seat, which is especially an issue when rushing for school.Aside from that the seat itself is very comfortable and tilting mechanism works very well. Overall i'd recommend, but if you have a bad back or have an issue with stretching, i might avoid due to the seatbelt connection issue
