Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Liquid Foundation Makeup, Fair

Let me start this off by saying I have super oily skin. I was looking for a buildable matte foundation that was affordable and I decided to go with this one. It’s super hard to find a good matte foundation that actually keeps my skin matte but doesn’t leave it looking super dry( if that makes sense). This foundation has a slightly thick consistency and it’s a lightweight formula. I wouldn’t recommend this for someone looking for a high coverage foundation. This is more for someone liking for a more natural finish but, it is buildable. The shade range is average I was able to find my shade(Warm Coconut). I would recommend more shade variety in the darker foundations. All in all I would purchase this foundation again.

I definitely think this would work well for all skin types! I have combo skin and as long as I moisturize my drier areas prior to application it applies flawlessly. I get super oily in my t-zone and the oil control it offers is top tier in comparison to all other drugstore foundations I’ve tried! And I’ve tried A TON! 😮‍💨 I love how buildable the coverage is also without leaving my face feeling/looking cake-y! Leaves my face matte, not shiny! ALSO love how inclusive they are with their shades! Might I also recommend using a primer as well! (I’ve used so many and this will sound crazy BUT I SWEAR it works better than even the highest quality primers I’ve tried- Monistat chafing cream! Don’t knock it till you try it! I studied the reviews on YouTube and was eager to try this Fit Me foundation. The cost is very affordable, ranging from $6 to $7 a bottle I have never used Maybelline foundation before, but I'm already in love. Without a doubt, I will repurchase. Why? due to the color selections! My skin tone is lighter than most but not yellow. You can choose between jersey shore orange and redhead light for the majority of drug store foundation brands. When I was younger and first started wearing makeup, I can remember that I used to buy two foundations and mix them together to create a shade that was close to my skin tone. I used to wonder what to do if you have redness and dark spots.

Maybelline Fit Me Matt. The most velvety, silky smooth finish, no pores. I get so many compliments for my dewy skin and it's all thanks to this! They have a HUGE range of shades!! I love to use this with my beauty blender and also dab my finger tips and it melts in for instant glow!. It's affordable, lasts seriously forever🤷🏼‍♀️ and a little goes a long way. It's my go to foundation, and number 1 recommendation. Build able coverage, I love how versatile it can be. Not over fragranced either which is great. Cue the intense googling, article scouring, friend-interrogating process of trying to find something new that would work with my finicky, oily skin. Multiple sources RAVED about this product and I'll admit, I was really skepticle. But, for under $10, it was worth a shot. Choosing a color online was ridiculously hard, but I gave my best guesstimate based on other Maybelline products I've used and chose 120 Classic Ivory. Cons: If you're used to a thick formula, this may seem a little watery, but it does build coverage well. It doesn't hold up very well to sweat/water, so you may want to use a setting spray if you're going to be without AC, working out, or in high humidity/the weather calls for rain. It isn't a "long wear" formula; for most people under "normal" conditions it'll be fine, but if you have a habit of touching your face, if you have puppies licking you, or if you fall asleep on a pile of fresh laundry out of the dryer (totally hypothetical), you'll need to touch up (and rewash said hypothetical laundry). For me, the color was just a smidge on the yellow side. I might try 122 next...

I have combination acne prone skin and this foundation suits me perfectly. This is a silicone-based foundation with a matte finish, so it's good for those with oily skin. I use it without primer, with concealer and powder from the same series Fit Me. Foundation does not emphasize dryness, and does not cause break out. Creamy products (bronzer or contouring) are well placed on it. The only problem I encountered was the longevity throughout the day. After ~5 hours, there is no more product on areas such as sinuses and chin. It does not cover the pores very much, so a primer should come into play here if you have enlarged pores. I buy it more than once, this is my second pack and it lasts for a long time. Overall, this is a really good foundation and it leaves my skin is looking so naturally clear and smooth. I highly recommend anyone to try this product. It is really affordable and you won’t regret adding this to your make up routine whenever I run out of this product. I always go to Ulta beauty to buy it again because this is a must have in my make up routine.

Shade 102 suits me in terms of color intensity and I do not lighten it additionally. The foundation does not harden on the skin, but remains slightly moist. It has a light-reflecting ability and slightly illuminates the skin. The tone covers weak and medium color nuances perfectly, evens out the overall skin color. The finish is not matte at all, but not moist either, moderately radiant. Thanks to the light reflection, the texture of the skin, namely small irregularities, are slightly visually smoothed out. The foundation does not fix and does not harden on the skin, even after fixing with powder, it is easily imprinted when touched. The foundation does not affect the pores at all, does not emphasize them, but does not hide them either.

While wet it looks pretty yellow, but after letting it dry and contouring and using setting powder, it looks super close to my normal skin tone. I have rosacea on my cheeks and I think it covers the redness pretty well. It doesn't really hide pores, but my pores are huge due to the rosacea so I honestly don't expect it to fully fill mine in. If you have smaller pores than mine you're probably fine. It does hide my pores better than other foundations I've tried, so I'll give it that.
