Speaking of the sponge... it's not really suitable for applying the powder, as it leaves a lot of product on it. It's much better to apply the powder with a fluffy brush. The powder itself is decent, easy to find the right shade. I have fair skin and I use transculent shade.. If you want lighter coverage then lightly tap in with a brush and just set the face without getting that ghastly white flashback that you can often get with using white or “translucent” setting powders. So I saw all the hype on this product and wanted to try. I have very oily skin so I always have a powder and blotting papers with me and I use them all day long. This powder was not great. Since I’m so oily it wouldn’t stick to my face and would crack like crazy. Maybe people who have a low maintenance life or skin will love this but that’s just not me. I can’t just stop every hour to wash or wipe my face and redo my makeup and I will not put primer on top of everything just so the powder might stick. I hate having a caked face. So for all these factors this product does not work for me. I will say tho the packaging is beautiful.

Especially for the price point! The coverage of this foundation is medium to full coverage as it layers very well without causing noticeable or patchy areas. So i bought this way before it was viral and i got to say its a really great pressed powder. I love how it made my skin feel velvety and silky. I used it in combination with the Elf pore putty primer, the Maybeline fit me matte foundation. My makeup was looking great as all of these products worked well together. I suggest using this power with a matte foundation and a pore smoothing primer! This powder has become my go to for these hot summer days. Ive used it also with the Maebeline Super Stay active wear foundation and its fantastic combo for keeping me looking great when its humid and I get sweaty.
