Upon first using the pencil, it is a lovely colour and it lasts very well on the lips--however, after a few uses the pencil wore down and as one would typically do, I tried to sharpen it. The issue arises when you try to sharpen it in anything other than the frigid temperatures of the arctic, the formula breaks, smushes out into the sharpener, anything other than remaining within the confines of the pencil.The formula is too soft and if you want to sharpen it I recommend putting it in the refrigerator for a time before attempting to do so if you don't want to leave the experience as frustrated as I have. Recommend only to friends with patience and/or the knowledge to prevent issues such as the one described above.

Absolutely awesome! Total CT lippie pencil dupes for under 8 bucks here at Target! I’m getting all of them. Easy to sharpen, too: use a regular sharpener. Stick the pencils in the fridge before sharpening for a semi-fine point. This is an extremely pigmented, extremely smooooth formula so you don’t have to go back and forth for coverage or density. This would be a good time to use a brush to blend a few of the pencils, then top it all off with a sheer gloss. Ensure your lips are prepped and primed prior to application for heavy layering and to prevent clumpiness. Lasts from morning til evening. I keep a few in my purse.

After Mac discontinued my fav retro matte, I discovered I can do same look with a lip pencil and balm. Took MANY different brands to get that perfect nude brown-mauve color. Today I went to Walmart and just happen to see this pencil and wanted to try it. Love this pencil how I can control how much to put on or not. It has staying on power to last all day and NO fragrance (a big plus). LOVE the color "On it" 5. Ordering extra in case this is discontinued... better order at least a dozen more ;)

I absolutely fell in love with this. I was a little skeptical because its so Hyped up on TikTok but I so get why. It is creamy and blendable and the shade On It is a perfect neutral slighlty cool tone nude. Very 90's and on my fair warm skin is slightly darker but pairs so nicely with nude lipstick. I wore this lip liner for about five hours and it had some staying power. The only slight gripe I have with this liner is you have to be mindful of the pressure you use when applying because on my first go I snapped the tip off but was still able to use it and sharpen it . overall I think I found a new favorite liner.
As someone who never really embraced lip liners before, the Maybelline Lifter Liner was a delightful surprise! The rich color (mention the specific shade you liked) went on incredibly smooth, gliding across my lips without any tugging. I was also impressed by the staying power – it lasted for hours without smudging or fading. While I wouldn't call myself a lip liner convert just yet, this product definitely changed my perception. I love and appreciate a good lip liner and I am so excited that I had the opportunity to try the Lifter Liner Lip Liner by Maybelline! It’s quickly become a favorite! The first thing I noticed was how smooth and creamy the formula is. Probably the smoothest I’ve ever used! It glides on so easy! And the color is perfect. I tried the shade 07 Big Lift which is a pretty mauve color! It provided a rich, even color that lasted and lifted my lips for hours! Even through eating and drinking, which is always plus! Overall, I am very impressed with the liner! It is beautiful and really helps shape and lift my lips! Can’t wait to try some of the other fabulous shades! Highly recommend this!!!

Use a light hand, it's a soft product. Applies easily and it's not any more drying than any other lip liner (if you apply all over your lips, not just the outline). Lasts a long time, even if you top it with gloss. I got the shade Peaking, and contrary to the description I don't know that I would call it a brick red. It seems like every single lip liner these days is just a shade of brown, regardless of what the online swatches/exterior color of the tube is. I'm looking for a slightly more berry shade I guess, something that's a your-lips-but-better shade. I would definitely buy another one of these, just in a different shade (assuming they make something other than brown, brown, and more brown).
