We really enjoy these play food containers. Many other toy food is designed where it tears amd falls apart within a couple hours. Little ones just like taking things apart. These hold up well. The lids go on and off very easily. They are lasting well for us. Our girls are now 3 and 4 and have had 4 months now and they still look and work like new.

Super cute! These are made of paper-labeled cardboard with plastic end caps, so I agree with the one comment that covering the paper labels with packing tape or clear contact paper will add to the durability of the labels. I have a love-hate relationship with the removable lids. On the plus side, it’s great because it adds to the realistic playability, and on the downside, you might spend a lot of time looking for the kids to put them back on the cans. Overall, I would buy them again.

This is a nice little set of cans. Good size and sturdy. Has lids you can pop off.It will do the trick for my 21 month granddaughter. Date of arrival was late and it wasn't really until a couple days that I started getting the truth of its arrival.I said that about the pretend food I ordered but that really should have gone to these. Got it backwards. Otherwise, nice product.

Loved the fake canned food for my daughter's little kitchen. She put them in her cabinet. What fun!!!Was a simple purchase and very quick delivery.
GOOD qualityI got this for my 8 year old from “Santa”. A year later, this kitchen set is still in perfect condition. He plays with this Daily, to accommodate his stuffed animals. And he’s not tired of it yet. He loves it.Excellent priceFast shipping
Cute but not stackable. Bottom is rounded cardboard. Top is wobbly plastic with raised thin sides. They are not even or stable. My kids can stack cans but can’t stack these hardly at all. They shouldnt say stackable on the box if they weren’t willing to do literally anything to make these stable when trying to stack. For comparison, my kids are 1 and 3 and can both stack normal cans with ease I was just trying to save some toes.
The wording on these cans are priceless. They are sturdy and the lids open. I know my grandaughter will love them. However, these were not included in my order. I ordered back on cyber Monday but opened to wrap the week before Christmas. I was so busy I didn't open. I called Melissa and Doug and told them, they immediately shipped another out and I raved it days before Christmas. I am VERY impressed with this company and will continue to order from them. Thank you!,,
Great concept. My 2.5 year old noticed right away she could remove the lids but remarked, "They're all empty!" I told her they were for pretend. She loves to identify the food on the outside, but she doesn't reach for them for continued play. She just picks one she likes and carries it around with her like a fake snack. Be warned: you will be replacing lids at the end of play.
I bought the Grocery Can Set to add to my grand daughter's kitchen. The little cans are have colorful realistic labels, are well made and the plastic lids on the cans actually open. She loves to put plastic food inside the cans as she "cooks" in her kitchen. These realistic can goods have her allowed her imagination to soar.
After tossing around loads of cheap plastic food, I decided to get this Melissa and Doug food set. I’m glad I did. It’s soooo much better having fewer high-quality items than a bunch of “cheap” stuff.
