Got this shoe to compare to my favorite shoe the Rush 3.0/3.5. I've tried the 4.5, but it is stiffer and gave me blisters. The 4.5 is further from the 3.0/.3.5 The Pro Ace is closer. A little more room in the toe box. Rides a little higher but also a little more cushion. Doesn't feel too heavy and moves about as good as the 3.0/3.5. The higher ride has made it a little less stable than the 3.0/3.5. With the 3.0/3.5 no longer in production, this will probably be my shoe of choice for a while.

It seems they've discontinued the Wilson ProStaff shoe that I loved and spent countless years in. I tried an earlier version of this shoe and was not pleased - very jarring to the back. I drove all over the Raleigh, NC area to the pro shops, spent an entire day trying on shoes of all brands, makes, and models and then slid THIS iteration of this shoe on and it felt like I had a new pair of Pro Staffs on. I then did a tennis lesson of 60 straight minutes of footwork and waited... I"m a 50yo male in fair-to-good shape. My back, feet, and calves never developed the stiff, sore, or shooting pains I'd grown accustomed to in the absence of my beloved Pro Staffs. So, in sum, VERY happy with this iteration of THIS shoe!

I love these shoes. I bought a white pair about a year ago because the reviews said they were comfortable when first put on. Most shoes require a break in. The reviews were spot on. So I decided to a new pair of grey ones and it was the same. I can't say enough how comfortable these shoes are. Love playing Pickleball in them.

I'm 6'4" and wear a size 14 running shoe. At the running store I always find that when they say "this one has a little larger 'toe box'" that it will fit nice. This shoe is exactly that fits very nice! AND the shipping & delivery was extremely prompt. Very happy with this purchase. My last pair was KSWISS. They worked fine, but this shoe provides my foot a much better fit. Thanks Wilson!
After an intense search and a few pairs of ripped tennis shoes, I found these for my son, and he loved them, and so did I. My son used to rip his tennis shoes when he dragged his foot while trying to catch the tennis ball. But that finally stopped happening because these shoes have a hard plastic section on the inner side of the shoe. They are comfortable, with good grip and a variety of prices. He owns two pairs now, these and the white ones. ( too dirty and hard to wash, just stick to dark colors)
I wore nike air vapor tour for years, they took out the air and the heels are too hard, no longer comfortable, so i tried these. These are solid. They do pitch you forward compared to the nike's - that led to one fall until I got used to them. The laces are also too long and slippery material and don't stay tied, I replaced them. But they are comfortable and move well on the court and overally very good. I tried the regular rush-pro, they were too narrow in the toebox area to wear. These have nice room in the toe box, could use a bit less width in the middle of the shoe and an extra set of eyelets to pull the heel in better would also be a nice minor improvement (Asics and Nike both have this). I'll be getting another pair of these in the next week or so.Wear is 'no ... MoreI wore nike air vapor tour for years, they took out the air and the heels are too hard, no longer comfortable, so i tried these. Purchased these shoes as I wanted some extra wide ones and I'm a fan of Wilson. While at a first glance it looks narrow, the shoes have plenty of room for wide feet and I'm happy in that sense. The problem with them is the cheap laces that they came with. You can see from the pics that after playing for 6-7 times in a month or so, the laces are starting to have a problem. I reached out to the support team and they said that they are not covered in the "limited warranty". The company don't care about a dissatisfied customer and it's obvious from my interaction. This is the last purchase I'm going to make at Wilson.
I buy shoes for my son who just turned 17 years old.He previously wore the Rush Pro 4.0. The bottom of the Rush Pro Ace looks just like the Rush Pro 4.0 shoe bottom. My son says it feels the same too.He trains about 15 hours a week plus tournaments. I feel like these shoes are slightly less durable than the Rush Pro 4.0 but they are also less expensive. Also, in fairness, it could be something in my sons style of play that is making the shoe wear more quickly or him getting older. I try to purchase 2-4 pairs at a time so he has extras on hand. The shoe can last him 2-3 months depending on how many tournaments etc…he has in that time period. Overall, great shoe, he has worn wilson since he was a little kid I hope they always make this feel of shoe with this ... MoreI buy shoes for my son who just turned 17 years old.He previously wore the Rush Pro 4.0. Overall, great shoe, he has worn wilson since he was a little kid I hope they always make this feel of shoe with this particular pattern on the bottom becuase he loves the comfort and fit. Also, wilson is great to help prevent/avoid plantar fasciitis. He had some issues with that one summer from going barefoot at home. We got him Birkenstocks to wear around the house kept wearing his wilson shoes on the court and the issue completely resolved.
I don't play tennis and I don't play pickle ball. I just wanted a great looking shoe that was insanely comfortable and fit well - true to size. It seems like all the other big name shoe makers have gone off the deep end with their designs, well at least in the eyes of this senior. The minute the shoes arrived I new they were going to be my favorite pair just for going out on the town and to run the daily errands. I love these. Sorry for not reviewing them based on their court performance. Now Wilson if you are reading these comments, please how about making golf shoes with the same careful thought to design, looks, comfort, and performance. I'd be all over that!
Quite possibly the best shoes on the market. I was in Nike Pro for 30 years and their shoes have become too narrow and cause foot issues. The Wilson Rush Pro Ace is the most comfortable and supported shoe I've worn in many years but as usual the company has stopped making them and the upgrade is terrible. I'm sorry but why do companies insist on destroying their best products. Will soon look at your ratings on this shoe, five stars across the board. Look at the ratings on your new shoes two and three stars. Get a clue and stick with the shoe everyone loves. Please don't stop making the Rush Pro Ace.
