I have bought moabs for 10 years+. Always the same size, always the same fit. Really disappointed with the moab3 fit, which is much narrower around the toes. I also wasn't a big fan of the plastic feel. I have loved my Merrells because they have never given me blisters and have always fit beautifully right out of the box with zero wear in time. I am now going back to the drawing board with different brands, different pressure points, different foot pain etc to see what will be my new go to shoe. First world problems I know, but finding the right boot is a time consuming and expensive exercise :(.

From the moment I tried these on in store to my first walk in these boots, they felt AMAZINGLY comfortable and I absolutely love them. They provide so much support and feel cushioned, while also feeling great while walking over rougher terrain. They also look really stylish and make my wide, big foot look more compact than it is so 10 out of 10! Highly recommend them.

I have a fallen arch on my left foot, along with plantar fascialitis and had a Morton's Neuroma removed from it. These Hiking Boots from Merrell are so comfortable that I wear them every day. I went hiking in Tasmania for 3 months in them. They require no breaking in, just put them on out of the box and you are good to go! I love them so much that i just purchased my second pair.

I bought these as my last pair finally broke (after many years of faithful service). They are just great walking shoes, very comfortable from the start. They aren't too flashy so go with lots of outfits, not just walking gear, and they are so much more comfortable I use them even for short walks on uneven terrain. I like the mid version which gives me some ankle support without being too uncomfortable. I bought these online because I couldn't get the half size at a store, or the colour I liked, although because I had the earlier versions I was pretty sure about comfort and fit, which I'd normally prefer to check in store.
This is my second pair of Merrell hiking boots. My first pair were so comfortable and durable that when it came time to look for a new pair I went straight back to Merrell. And while this pair are comfortable the right boot makes a really annoying popping sound every step I take. I checked the sole and nothing appears to be loose or coming apart. Strangely, the sound seems to be coming from inside the sole. It's not loud but it's extremely annoying and detracts from the enjoyment of a walk.

Even with difficult terrain and long distances, my feet remained blister free (this is a big plus in my opinion), my feet were dry even after being submerged in water and mud, the boot had good grip and stability without feeling restrictive in rocky conditions. When hitting the higher kms (20km +) the boot did start to feel heavy and hot and I also find that I quite easily get rocks and grit getting captured into the boot. Of COURSE SB curates a collection of the best…after beating the price of the Merrell site (!) I ordered these from SB and they were here after about a week - not bad between continents, and with constant tracking updates. These boots have an overall, gentle rose gold effect while also remaining neutral, so maybe think of ‘aluminium’ as a warm grey. They will seriously go with everything. Except sequins 😂 Cannot wait to test them out on the trails, yet so far are comfortable right out of the box.I’m a 38/39 in most shoes but sized up to 40 in these, as I do with runners. Perfect for a wide fit. Instep comes out to easily confirm right sizing. Perfect fit ✌️
Great boots. So comfy out of the box. Lovely colour and not too heavy. Keep feet warm and dry. Downside is that grip on pavement/slush not the best. These are my third pair of Merrells. I have had a different style previously. They tend to last me around 18 months before developing a split in the seam and water ingress. I do put in the miles though dog walking 3 times a day. Hoping these boots have a bit better longevity than previous merrells. All in all a really comfortable boot and would highly recommend for trail walking
Love my Merrell boots. Been searching for years for truly, waterproof boots, and have finally found them . Thankyou Merrell. I walk through long grass every day, and my feet finally stay dry. I have tried so many other bits and nothing has kept my feet totally dry.
