Microplane Premium Zester Grater Purist Blue

Read several Amazon reviews where people compared the product they bought with their old zester from Microplane. That inspired me to go to the Microplane website and compare. There was no comparison. This is sturdy, sharp, comes with a protective sleeve, does the job perfectly.

Terrific. Love the way it feels in my hand. Just so much better than anyone I've ever had and I use a zester all the time. I have a BMV and I'm always zesting something. I wish I could figure out how to freeze zest and sell it somebody is missing the mark there. I also bought a yellow one and while I love the blue I hate the yellow.

I hated grating peel for recipes. My old grater made such a mess of the job, and a mess of the kitchen. In comparison this tool is sheer genius. I made fresh fig and orange muffins today and as always, got a plate ready to lessen the mess when I grated the orange skin.. Much to my surprise there was virtually no mess and it took seconds to pass the grater over the orange skin. The peel was caught neatly in the curve of the grater and there was no turning the orange over and over hunting for missed sections of peel.I had no idea that a good tool could make such an amazing difference.The peel is beautifully fine with no pith.The grater comes with a cover to slide on to keep it safe in a drawer. Every cook needs a Microplane. This is the one to have.

A staple kitchen tool that should always be close by. Razor sharp and a big fat grippy handle make super fine grates of cheese, chocolate, nutmeg, citrus zest, etc. easy even with wet hands or gloves on. Get a real Microplane, most of the cheaper options either don’t cut well or don’t last long.

Excellent for zesting lemons 🍋

Very glad I bought this Microplane Premium Classic Zester from Knifewear. This replaced another, lower-quality zester I was using and the difference is quite noticeable. This one is very ergonomic, produces really crisp and uniform zest, and is surprisingly easy to clean. I bought the yellow one (because lemons) and it looks great in my kitchen.

Easy to handle and quick to clean. Nicely balanced so it feels good in your hand. It is well made and sturdy for all the zesting and shredding needs in your kitchen. Not clunky and stores well in the utensil drawer. I especially love the lemon yellow handle. A must for every kitchens

Microplane Premium Zester/Grater Black

First time buying a microplane zester and was very impressed. The blades are very sharp indeed compared to other grating devices. Cuts time spent with other zesters drastically. Would highly recommend but be careful as it is sharp. Comes with a good safety cover for storage.

Why didn’t I buy this sooner?

This thing is the bomb! Got in on recommendation from Nagi of recipe tin eats. Zesting was something I despised previously because I was using cheap rubbishy tools. This microplane makes it so easy. The zest is light and isn’t chunky. Can’t wait to try it with chocolate and Parmesan.

Zester Grater

This grater works very easily and thoroughly. We typically use it for Parmesan, but I'm sure it will work for many other foods. The blades are quite sharp and strong, resulting in a lot of material being grated in a short time. Also like that it comes with a sheath to protect it when not in use.

This is the best zester I have ever owned! It is amazing quality and design ! Even catches all the zest in its little tube design .I cook a lot with limes and lemons and it zests without one piece of the bitter pith !I’m going to use it to grate ginger for my healthy yogi tea too ! Worth every cent . I cannot recommend it highly enough.
