I bought this because my Mac had finally given out on me, and I was hesitant at first, because I have a preference for Apple, but I was caught by the sleek look it had, which I assume could be comparable to the look of a Mac. It really is as light to carry around as they advertise, and I like how soft of a blue the color is. When it arrived, the set up process was super simple and I easily fell in love with it the first day I had it. The only thing I could complain about is how the charger isn't universal, so it would be hard to replace if it gets lost, but other than that, I will be sticking to Microsoft Surfaces from now on!! Very good!

I bought this for portable use. In fact it does almost as well on speed tests as my older desktop. It boots up fast - the SSD is great. This is not a fast gaming computer, but is great for mail, Internet browsing, word processing, spreadsheets, and so on. It is quite responsive for several people on Zoom, and it runs my CAD program and 3-D printer with no hesitation. NOTE that you need to get a USB-C expansion module if you want to connect another monitor or use more than the 2 USB outlets provided. The price was right!

OMG, Microsoft's laptop is like a total game-changer! The performance is insane, it runs so fast and smooth. And the battery life? Girl, it lasts forever! The build quality is top-notch, feels so sleek and sturdy. The display is like watching Netflix in HD all day. And don't even get me started on the storage capacity, I can save all my pics and vids without worrying. It's like the perfect laptop for a tech-savvy girl like me!😎

Christmas gift for late teen/young adult son.

I bought this for my son for Christmas last year. He does video games and uses it for high school. He takes it everywhere and uses it daily. It’s been a full year and when his sister mentioned wanting to get a computer he said you should see if mom would get you the one she got me. (She didn’t get one last year because she primarily uses her MacBook for school and a laptop she borrowed for the community college. So, I got her some Lena and gear for photography.) You know you did good when they’re telling siblings about it, a year later!

Exceptional service and product

I was a little hesitant about purchasing a refurbished product rather than an open box product, which has always been my preferred choice ... until getting this Surface Laptop Go from Hyper Mega Electronics. The reviews on both the product and the company to date seemed excellent, so I ordered one.It arrived within a couple of days, packaged within a box, within a box, within a box. Basically it was very well packaged. The final box was a sealed Microsoft box with a 'certified refurbished' sticker on it. If it wasn't for that sticker, you'd think it was new. Inside, the laptop came with the protective cover and the cables were again packaged as if new. The laptop itself was in flawless condition. I upgraded out of Windows 10 S mode and Windows 11 should soon be available for a free upgrade. Fan noise is minimal when not stressing the CPU and the keyboard is lovely, responsive and very quiet. Screen is great. I won't do any more of a review of the laptop itself than that because there's more thorough professional reviews out there, so this is more of a big thumbs up for the seller and to Best Buy. I would absolutely buy from this seller again.

Great for 3 weeks

I purchased the Surface Laptop G0 12.4 inch, 128Gb on 8/25/2021 for a CAD and robotics programming course. The laptop was working great, good battery life, the RAM speed and processor were able to handle all the CAD and Robotics software and files without slowing down. Over the course of 3 weeks I’ve downloaded and saved multiple files to the hard drive needed for class. On 9/21/2021, I went to turn on the Surface Pro Go and it would not turn on. I performed all the basic checks to make sure the power cord was working(light on), charged for 4-5 hours but still would not turn on. I then went to the Microsoft website and followed all there recommended methods to try and reset the laptop, again the laptop would not turn on. Unfortunately, my purchase was past there 15 day return policy, which I find less than satisfactory especially when other Box stores offer up to a 2 year return policy. The GeekSquad employee stated that they didn’t work on many Microsoft Surfaces but did offer to look at it for $85 but couldn’t guarantee they could fix it (that was an easy no thank you). The employee recommended that I contact Microsoft and they would warranty it for up to 1 year. So I follow his recommendations for contact Microsoft’s customer support number. I have to go through the same steps as I mentioned above to come up with the same result, will not turn on. So after 45 minutes, the support agent said that there must be a hardware and that they would have to replace the Surface Laptop Go. At this point the realization that I would lose 3 weeks class work I had stored on my hard drive so I asked the support agent if there was any way they could recovery my data. The agent stated that they could not and all my files would be lost. At this point my frustration is growing, Laptop won’t turn on after 3 weeks and all my class work is gone. By the way, I usually do regular backups but apparently I was overconfident with this new laptop that was performing better than expected. I thought that it couldn’t get much worse until the Microsoft Support agent informed me that I would be getting a refurbished Surface Laptop Go to replace my Brand new laptop (less than 30 days old) and that it will take up to 8 business days to receive. So now I have no laptop to take to a computer driven class, I lost all my files and I’m getting a refurbished laptop from a multi billion dollar company. The silver lining in it all is that I learned a couple new things today. 1. Never buy an electronic device from Best Buy. 2. Never buy a Microsoft Laptop. 3. Backup daily if you do numbers 1 and 2.

So, I bought a Certified Refurbished device from Mega PC Mall through the Best Buy website.It was a hard decision but I went for the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 12.4" Multi-Touch (Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD & Windows 10S in Sand Stone, gorgeous colour omg)They shipped it very quickly and it was delivered within a day or two!Anyways, the title said it was in “excellent” condition. But when it arrived and I opened it up, there was no way I could tell the it had been previously used. It was in absolutely PERFECT condition.
