If you are already dug into the M12 product line with some extra batteries and chargers this is a great addition. No tool bag should be without one of these. Its hook or hang feature is well thought out and it stands up solid on the battery too. It offers good well-spread light and about 3 hours on a full charge. One negative is they should have offered up the magnet in the package instead of it being a hard to find and pricey accessory. But any decent local hardware store has a generic you could adapt to it for about 10 bucks. in six months you wont miss the 60 bucks but you will wonder how you ever got by without a light so handy and useful.

Love the feel of this light in my hand. Feels nice to hold, the aim is natural. I like taking this for walks, it gives off great light that is enough to walk and not flood too much. The light is true white, not the blueish tint LEDs usually are. The hook is nice and easy to use, locks in place for horizontal usage. Balances with with my 1.5 and 2.5 batteries.

I bought this light because it takes the same 12v batteries as my portable air compressor.The light is pretty bright and appears to be well made. For my line of work I usually like a light with a magnet. This light does not have a magnet and instead has a hook that will allow the light to hang straight up and down or sideways.I needed a light the day I bought it and took a chance with the adjustable hook. I think work lights should all have some sort of magnet as well as a hook.In conclusion I would have rated at 5 stars if it had a magnet. If this isn't a concern for you then you will be more then satisfied with this light.

I was looking for a decent work light for home projects but didn't want to spend a lot of money. After looking on the internet and not finding many lights that would meet my needs (has a hanger, bright, long lasting, rechargeable, freestanding), I decided to breakdown and buy this Milwaukee M12 LED stick and I'm glad that I did. I wasn't excited about paying $70+ for this light but when I saw it on Amazon for $54, I didn't hesitate to pick it up. It's just as advertised - heavy duty, long lasting (has nice LED lights indicating how much battery life is available,) very bright, nice wide pattern, and rechargeable. Although, $54 was still more than I wanted to pay for a portable work light, I think it was well worth it as it will last a very long time.
I really love this flashlight, so much so that I carry it with me every day. This light is very functional; it is very light, bright and with a fully charged battery, it last a long time. I use to carry an LED flash light with me, but now, I carry this one because of the hook it comes with. I can hook it up almost anywhere, including my bely loops. My only complain was having to purchase the Stick Light Accessory Magnet for an additional $16+tax dollars; cheap way of generating more money! Milwaukee should have just embedded the magnet and added $8 more...
Produces a bright, even light, which is great for working on something. I was able to fix a carpet extractor on the job with no problem seeing. The only thing, which could use improvement would be if the flashlight had the capability to bend so you could stand the light up and redirect the beam like the M18 version of this stick light. On the other hand, I can see that the M12 version would be less apt to break in a fall. I know on my old Makita flashlight, which could flex would always fall apart at the flex point when dropped. Eventually it cracked.This is a far better light than my old Makita flashlight, which never seemed to work when I really needed it. This is another good compact Milwaukee m12 tool. I like that it doesn't have an internal/integral batterie; need more run time change the batterie. Runs a long time on the small 2AH batt. Very bright with a wide beam so it covers your work area well. The "true" colour of the LEDs (as advertised) really is a big improvement over cheaper electronic white so often used in these kinds of lights. I like the power button; it's either on or off, no repeated button pushing between hi and low or other silly features like flashing. The hook is good, don't like the lack of a magnet; there is one available as an accessory but it's overpriced.
