Bought these in 4-9 back in 2020. They’re still in the bag and I don’t intend on taking them out anytime soon. Good distance, very good feel. The only thing which might be a problem for some is the drastic difference in sound and feel you get between the non back milled faces of the short irons vs the micro slotted 4-7 irons. The short irons feel very soft, buttery and make a bassy, dead thud on contact. Like a marshmallow when you flush it, just like the MP59. But the 4-7 irons absolutely sound and feel snappier if that makes any sense at all. A snappier, faster, quicker sound on contact, but still a forged feel, nonetheless. I love these irons and I honestly think even a golfer with a handicap as high as a 15 could even game these. They are small and compact, yes, ... MoreBought these in 4-9 back in 2020. I highly recommend these for anybody to try, especially now considering they’ll be out of production very soon (923s release in February)

Ended up buying the set of Mizuno JPX 923 forged irons. My iron game has changed so much compared to when I hit Ping cavity backs. The gain in distance has made it so that I rarely hit anything more than a seven iron. With the old clubs, I would use all the clubs in my bag. With these Mizuno’s, I only play pitching wedge through seven iron mainly. So for me these irons were game changers!

Took these clubs out for a maiden voyage on Thursday. I am completely impressed by the feel and performance. I played MX- 23’ for several years before going over to callaway apex. Coming back to Mizuno irons made me remember why I liked their forged clubs so much, they just feel perfect when you hit a flush shot. Easy to work with a nice ball flight. Great job Mizuno, I think I’ll be gaming these for a while.

This is my second set of Mizuno irons. Started playing MX25 irons years ago. These irons are a great replacement for those. Same great feel and sound. You won’t be disappointed with the JPX923 irons.
These are the first "tour" style clubs I've played on. I was fit for custom shafts (Project X IO) too. I was using Taylormade Stealth Irons before which were nice but I wanted better control with my distance and more launch. I'm seriously happy with these clubs, even being a mid-handicap golfer. They're much more receptive to your inputs so they take some practice but they are so soft and fun to hit.
Loving my new Mizuno Jpx 923 irons. I've been hitting the ball straighter at more consistent distances than ever before. Highly recommend getting fitted for your irons!Glad I took advantage of the pre-owned clubs available at Maple Hill. They were basically new, at a discounted price.
I received my custom specification (Nippon 950GH Neo stiff shaft +.25" length) set of JPX 923 Tour 35 days after placing my order. Thank you TGW and Mizuno for the excellent service!I consider the JPX 923 Tour to be a midsize head, which these days is about as small an iron head size as the major brands seem to offer. The head size makes this design suitable for all skill levels, from beginner to Tour pro. At address it looks good because the relatively thin topline prevents the head from appearing too clunky. Impact sound-feel is pleasing, not too muted or too loud.I wanted to achieve high trajectory shots from easy tempo swings and the combination of Nippon 950GH Neo shaft combined with this 923 Tour head seems to be a good fit. Previously I played MP63 with DGS300 shafts and had a 7-iron carry of 150 yards. My new set is allowing me to swing with an easy tempo to carry an 8-iron 150 yards; so even though the 923 Tour is not especially strong lofted or advertised as a "distance design", if you've been using irons that are an older model, you might recognize 10 yards or so more carry.
This was my first buying experience with globalgolf and to be honest I was a bit nervous with not being able to see actual pictures of the used clubs. The irons I got were in near perfect condition, only 3 of the 7 had been hit and they were pristine. The clubs were 1/2" over standard length which wasn't in the listing, but I was having the grips replaced anyway so just had them cut down. Will definitely be using them in the future, I got a great deal!
Had to write a review since there are none. Got these a week ago and can't put them down. The forged feel is unmatched and the forgiveness is insane. I was hoping to get into a players iron but my game just isn't there yet so this is perfect in that the size is compact and the feel is responsive while giving the forgiveness when I need it. Great for players looking to transition from game improvement irons to something more playable.
Best irons I’ve ever had. I have owned a lot of Mizuno’s; this head and TT DG 105 stiff shaft is a great combo. I get 10 yards more distance over my previous irons. Accuracy is improved, my scores have come down. I am in the 8 - 10 handicap range. The feel is Mizuno buttery smooth. Love, love these irons.

Stiff Flex. JPX Tour reigns supreme as Mizunos most played iron model in professional golf. The JPX 923 Tour still features a onepiece Grain Flow Forged body now with a copper underlay to improve sound and feel at impact. A new VChassis design produces a narrower top line and sole as well as a more rounded trailing edge to create a cleaner turf interaction. Shorter blade lengths and a more compact design from the 6 iron to the GW gives you precision where its most needed. The nonreflective Chrome plated finishing reduces bright sun glare.
