Great service by Start Fitness. Dispatched quickly, the usual excellent quality trainers, and they even threw in some free socks! 2nd pair of Mizuno Wave Rider trainers I've had, not ran in them yet but I don't see there being any issues.

Better than expected

I had never run in Mizunos before, so I was wondering how the fit and comfort would be. Happily surprised. I've only run in them a handful of times, but so far, all is well. The tip to size up is important; I have always worn a 14, but I ordered a 15 and the fit is great. I will be interested in the durability/wear of this shoe

Excellent support and cushioning

I switched to these Wave Riders from Gel Nimbus. The Gel Nimbus was not supportive enough and broke down in a few months. The Wave Riders are both supportive and very cushioned. Great shoe.

Great shoes

Have been wearing the Wave Rider for a few years now, and generally the shoe keeps getting better. However, would say that this one is a little tighter around the toes and I almost wish I had gone up a half size to accommodate for this. Also wish the laces were round and therefore not as hard to undo, but that's an easy fix.

Long lasting runner finally found!

I bought these shoes at the start of the year for my teenage son and they have been brilliant. The Athlete's Foot staff member expertly fitted them and my son finds them very comfortable. For the first time we have found a runner that has lasted him a whole school year - and more! The quality is great and he will be wearing them again next year for school sport.

Outstanding shoe - good fit, great cushioning

This is such a comfortable shoe. I like the fit - not too tight across the forefoot, and the lacing keeps it snug around the heel. The cushioning is just right - quite firm, neither too spongey nor too unforgiving.

Safe pair of shoes

I'e been using the Mizuno Wave Rider series for years. Every now and gain I try a different shoe but keep coming back to the Wave Rider. Every foot fall is assured whilst the low weight means I hardly notice that they are on my feet.

So far so good in all departments.

Good, true fit. No signs of blisters. Neutral footing - good for my supinating feet. Very comfortable all-round. Appreciate the wider toe space (regular size 8.5). Spring & launch felt with the Wave Plate & Enerzy foam. Only reason I can’t give five stars is I’ve only worn them for five days - too early to say if they’ll be this good after thorough usage.

Tighter fit than model 22

Ordered these online as I have had two pairs previously. Last pair model 22 was quite wide, which suited me. This one will probably stretch up a bit but it is not the instant comfort I was hoping for. They are a good shoe, but will probably just go into a shop next time.

Wave Rider my go to running shoe

I have used Mizuno Wave Rider as my go to running shoe for more than 15 years. I have used others in my rotation including Mizuno Wave Sky, Mizuno Wave Creation, Hoka Clifton, Hoka Clayton but always seem to find my way back to the Wave Rider. I have appreciated the high quality arch support in the Wave Rider. I have noticed with the Wave Rider 25 the arch is not as noticeable as earlier models. Not yet sure how I like that change.
