Mod Podge Gloss Finish 4oz

It’s a great product and super versatile. It does exactly what the description says that it’ll do. The brand has a variety of formulas, to cater to whatever your project may be. This brand has been around for as long as I can remember. It’s extremely affordable and available. Most of the products look milky when applied, but dries clear. I highly recommend trying this for yourself.

A Necessity for Crafters!!

I have several different types of Mod Podge that I use for different crafting projects I have done. I believe this classic crafter's must-have will never stop being something YOU MUST HAVE! I like how this can be used in so many different ways! If you haven't tried this in one variety or another, YOU DEFINITELY should!

Great as a glue, OK as a sealant

I bought Mod Podge Paper because I wanted something that I could use on paper that wouldn't wrinkle them. This worked. I've had no problems with wrinkling paper. The consistency is nice making it easy to spread with a foam brush. It doesn't have any offensive odor and is priced well. I had some problems with clumping and "skin" developing in the jar. I can easily pick them off my collages while the Mod Podge is still wet so it's not a terrible problem just a bit inconvenient. I also notice the Paper Mod Podge doesn't dry exactly clear. It's a bit yellowish but it's only noticeable on white surfaces. Otherwise, on other colors, it looks great. It has a nice satiny finish and makes the colors in my collages more vivid. Great for Puzzles!

Looks fantastic on puzzles. We love doing puzzles and have several frames and hung. I use Mod Podge Gloss for ours and they look great. I also use a small paint roller I picked up from a hardware store. Dustless/fuzzless paint rollers apply the Mod Podge perfectly. Also, pour it on a plate and use your roller or brush to apply it. Pouring it onto the item can leave a slight mark if you don’t get it spread out fast enough.

Highly recommend this product!

I dabble in so many different arts and mod podge is always my go to! I've used it to seal and gloss my paintings, to seal my flowers I've made from paper quilling. I've even recently used it to secure rhinestones to some resin work I've done. I first started using Mod podge to transfer photos to canvases which have come out amazing! It does take some time to dry but it is worth the small price. My projects always come out flawless.

I LOVE this stuff

Mod Podge has been around forever, and rightly so. I remember using this stuff growing up, in art class and such. A friend suggested I made a craft for her and the only item I thought to use to make it was Mod Podge. And you know, the items came out so well, I made a ton more. Someone suggested I sell them, which I am thinking of doing…but first I have to buy a HUGE amount of mod Podge. And frankly, who has the time. So, I’ll make some items here and there, and either sell them or give them away…and have some fun with it. It dries brilliantly clear and looks almost like glass. I love mod Podge. And that is God’s honest truth.

I wish I'd tried this product sooner.

I had for years used gloss Mod Podge for collage work. Recently I was advised to try the matte, and I wish I'd tried it years ago. I like the matte finish better. It dries quickly and does not interfere with photographing my work (glossy adhesives would often create unwelcome glare). I do not have a need for waterproof adhesive, though I often used PVA. However sometimes I did not like the flexible quality of dried PVA. I do however use PVA when creating archival handmade books. For the purposes I am now using the matte Mod Podge for (personal journaling, collage, and experimental mixed media), it is the ideal product. It is versatile, quick-drying, comes in different quanitites, and the cost is affordable.

Take note of the cure time

I bought this because the acrylic spray finishers were too expensive and I just needed it for a one-off project. If you apply it in thin layers, it will dry to the touch quickly. I applied this on an air dry clay sculpture that was painted with acrylics. I applied about 3 coats, one per day. It's been about 6 days since the last coat. Yesterday, the surface was very slightly tacky when picked up. Today, it seems to be dry. Note that this takes 2 months to cure completely.

This is my go-to linoleum block

I used this Mod Podge to transfer a ink jet print to my linoleum block printing plate. It was such a simple process to transfer my design to the linoleum and made cutting the block much easier because I had better detailed lines to follow. I am working on a 7-color block print, so I need detail.

This product has so many uses.

I love using mod podge! I make cosplay costumes and props and After I’ve made the items, I need to seal them. I almost always put 2-4 coats of mod podge all over the item and l it dry. I can then sand it to make it really smooth. It helps cover any blemishes or cracks where the adhesive I use to glue pieces together which gives it a lot more of a professional look. I like the fact that it’s non toxic and it cleans up really well. After I have finished with the mod podge, I’ll spray some plasti-dip on to give the item even more protection and then I’ll start the painting process. I highly recommend this product and I’ll continue to buy it
