Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate

Let me say that I've always disliked fighting games because I suck at them. However, MK 11 has an amazing tutorial and training section. I've been spending lots of time in those tutorials and lessons, learning how to be better at the game. The main story, towers, and fighting of the game are fun and responsive. The lessons and tutorials also have their own rewards when completing them. It feels like no action goes unrewarded.

This game is awesome, I cannot think of a better MK, nor fighting game, that is better. MK has come a long way since it began in the 90's. I remember playing the first MK in arcade and getting beat down by older guys playing the game. I was a kid then. I remember the reactions from everyone, shock, and my mom wouldn't let my little sister watch the game. Then I was hooked, and played every one of them. I'm jumping forward in time because the others after that were good but didn't make that much of an impression. I always liked the idea of characters crossing over, like having DC characters in MK for example. I think the Dark Knight would be an amazing addition, especially if him and the joker interact violently during their meet ups. But most of all, I think the MK 11 creators hit the spot with the Unreal Engine 3 and making environments and fighting styles feel right at home, it feels a lot better for a 3-D experience, and the timing on buttons for those of us that like precision is nice, (Not that button smashers are a bad thing, just not in this game. Don't bet on luck, bet on skill).You can call my review biased, but that's that MK Haterade you're drinking. I'd recommend this game to anyone hands down.

If you like Mortal Kombat you know what you are getting here. You get all the characters the extra story line on top of a great first chapter. Also a very robust combat system with all the bone cracking fun that MK is known for. So why online 4 stars. There is issues still with the game working for everyone. I could only play it in windows 10 mode. The standard mode would randomly crash after cut seems before battle. Still not fixed after all this time so wouldn't expect it to get fixed soon but as long as you can play windows 10 version should run should be a flawless victory for you.

I have been a fan of MK for 30+ years. I love how this game has evolved. The gameplay is amazing and while I do play MK 1, MK 11 will be my favorite. I love the way we were able to customize skins. The graphics have come a long way. They are as real as a game can get. I’m glad that they have made them more looking characters and less cartoonish. The game is violent in nature but everyone knows this is just a game based on fictional characters. I’m glad Ed Boone and John Tobias have continued to keep an interesting storyline and the story telling is outstanding within the Netherrealm studios. I will forever play this game as it is therapeutic for me 😊

I’m not a Mortal Kombat fan but this game is cool!

I’ve never even been a huge fan of Mortal Kombat (or fighting games in general) but I did a lot is research on what PS5 game I wanted to buy for myself with my PS5 - which took weeks to finally get one.. I would certainly recommend!I’ll add one thing though that’s worth noting : the combos and controls are very difficult to Learn and Land - and if you are a “noob” such as myself when it comes to fighter games - the learning curve MAY possibly be too high to actually get good enough at the game to be able to fully enjoy it ... I’m trying my best, but it is still too hard, and realistically as much fun as I have with the game and it’s visual appeal, most likely I will give up and shelf the game before ever learning and taking the time that is required to get good at it.. it’s just a bit too challenging for me unfortunately!Which is too bad because the game looks absolutely amazing and I would love to be good at it! I’m just not haha. So be careful if you aren’t good at fighters it is not an easy one in my opinion - in comparison DBZ FighterZ is significantly easier to play for me than MK! For reference.

MK11 is my favorite release.

This game has an interesting story line. My favorite character got a new version of her own, (Sindel) a loving mother sacrifice herself to not have the realm merge, into a ruthless woman wanting endless power and times using her body to get it. I hated that part but her hersel was still loved by me lol.

Mortal Kombat Ultimate is at peak performance on PlayStation 5 !

Despite owning the PS4 version of MK 11 with all the DLC, I had to pick up the Ultimate Edition for PS5, because Im a fanatic and I collect games and steelbook cases. Whether or not youre like me, I still recommend checking it out. Also, the game has been out long enough that you could probably find it at a fraction of the retail price. Lastly, with the MK 11 Ultimate Edition, you will receive all DLC that has released for the game and youll own it all until the next Mortal Kombat comes out, which is unknown at this time. Buy it while supplies last!

Perfect game but...

It is a perfect game if you loved playing with any mortal kombat in the past. It has the best graphics they ever had and the story is also good. My only problem is that the printing on the disks are wrong. I dont know if these sales are from some kind of wrong batches from the factory line or why they are like that. You have two disks in the case, one is the data and the other one is the play disk. You need both to install the game but you will only need the play disk when you want to play with the game. In this package, the data disk is the play disk and the play disk is the data disk. It is still playable but a bit annoying after you pay a lot of money for the game itself and then you need to figure it out why you cant install it straight away from the case.

Review of Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate

Good Points: Game has a story line and fights as the story progresses.Good graphics - not much of a lag.Managed to finish the game in a couple of days may be 5 - without playing continuously.Rambo, Terminator and Joker characters are a nice addition.Improvement Points: After the story is done it gets boring to fight other players.Playing against other players on the internet requires membership which can add to the cost.Huge download required for the game.Controls were difficult to master atleast for me.Found it very tough to defeat opponent if difficulty level set to High.

Ultimate Version

Been a Mortal Kombat fan since the first one was in arcades and I used to marvel at the fatalities in my local convenience store after school.With that said I bought this game so I could play with my son and it does not disappoint.Great price for the ultimate version that comes with 2 dlc packs including lots of extra playable characters. Does not disappoint.
