We have been using this BBQ for 3 years almost, now, and this thing is a great little workhorse. We use this as our main bbq as we when we got it, we didn't have much room; however, it's perfect! Heats up relatively quick, we have it connected to an LP tank and 1 tank pretty much lasts the summer - its not a gas guzzler which is great.Would highly recommend, especially if you are buying this for camping.We will look at getting a proper one eventually, but this will do just fine in the meantime!

At 67 years old I have had a few of them. I read about seasoning the grills, keeping it clean, reverse cooking, oils. So now, many "cooks" later, I am not afraid to try anything on my "little" grill. Big BBQS, ok cool, but if you don't cook for 10 people every time this is a really great grill. Assembly is easy, finally found a Napoleon cover for it. Highly recommend this grill. Also, get the grilling plate! You will love it.B. Thompson

Love this portable BBQ. Very easy to use. Folds up and down with one finger if needed. I was pleasantly surprised by the large cooking surface. When camping, we love to do breakfast on the griddle that fits where one of the two grids go. In our house we call this the Cadillac of portable BBQ's.
The item arrived very quick and was very excited. When i was building the barbeque i started to put the wheel base on and noticed the rod was very long. I contacted the autralian distributor company and questions it to my suprise the australian version requires 2 block attatchments each side which then extended the overall width of the barbque by more than 100mm. This does not fit in the back of my car due to the attatchments which are not seen on the advertised picture or the box. When i question why it was needed i was dealt with quite abruptly by the company and appliance online. If i had the opportunity to repurchase i probably would just get a webber as i dont feel like this is worth it. I also just wanted to get what i was hoping to pay for.

I was able to place this grill on my balcony and still find space for dining furniture and other equipment. Two burners on the grill enable cooking with indirect heat which makes even smoking possible. Still I wouldn't call this a real smoker but equipped with smoker tube (67011) you can add nice flavor to even bigger cuts of meat. Napoleon TravelQ Pro285X is definitely not the most powerfull, but it is still very capable of bringing and keeping the temperatures at really high level. The cooking surface is large when taken account the grills moderate size. I have been able to fit over a 1,5kg tri tip on the grill ... This portable grill cooks like it's larger counterparts in a convenient travel size. Worth the price. It is fuel efficient and has excellent temperature control. I liked it so much, I now have two for my tailgating football Sundays to keep the food coming for my friends and guests at the stadium.
I bought this travel unit for my 5th Wheel and it's been amazing. It hooks direct to a 20lb propane canister so no more little screw on bottles. The two separate heat zones make it convenient for for cooking different foods at the same time. It's sturdy, well made and easy to clean. I've owned several compact bbq's over the years , and different makes, but this is by far the best I've had. Awesome little bbq.

The porcelain coated grates are good, they should last a long time. The drip pan is easily accessed and the smooth rounded shape of the BBQ makes it easy to clean. The lighting is Piezo so no batteries and there's a flame that shoots out when lighting and easily lights the burners. The 2 burner controls work very well. The lid is a snug fit, good for slow cooking. Even left on the open scissor cart, the BBQ doesn't take up much room and I have the facility to fold it up and store it when necessary. When folded it takes up about the same space as a golf bag and buggy.So far I've cooked roast chicken, roast veggies and lamb chops, all with no problem. I'm easily getting the temperatures I want and have no doubt that Steaks, Sausages etc will all turn out great. I don't have the optional flat plate but I can put a cast iron skillet on the grate to cook things like eggs and BaconI've had such a good experience with Appliances Online I will cetainly buy from them again.
We were given the Napoleon - Phantom TravelQ Pro 285 as a gift and we absolutely love it! It is nice and compact and lightweight quality for our yard and to take to picnics and cottages and camping trips.It has a big grilling area, lights up instantly, narrow high quality cast iron grates so nothing burns and we always have a great meal!
