Needed so we didn't have to set our Q-Grill on the table. Works great! It is a little wobbly but still good. Very easy to assemble. And easy to break down for travel.
We bought this at the same time as our little Weber. It's easy to assemble and the bbq pops right on. It's shorter than I expected, which isn't a big issue for us (5'7), but if you're taller you might find it too low. It's sturdy enough for a portable cart, but it you're looking something solid this wouldn't be right for you.
This thing is a piece of junk. I got this with the Weber Q1000 series electric grill. This was the only cart that was available on the Lowes site I didn't even care if it moved. I just needed something to put this thing on so I got this. First if you are grilling it sits real low. Its under my waist and I am only 5-10. Second the thing is not that sturdy. If you are grilling and you are flipping some meaty items it will shake. The only pro to this if you call it one is that it has wheels to move around. But since I don't need that its not a pro for me. If you are looking for a sturdy cart or stand this is not the one to get. Its going back right now.

We bought the grill and cart last summer and still haven't figured out how to use the cart. The grill sits at a great height, but we haven't been able to transport it anywhere using the cart. We carried the grill to use it elsewhere and left the cart at home.
The grill stand works fine as far as using it as a platform for easy access to grilling. But I find that the handle is too short and flimsy for pulling the grill around on the stand. In addition, when you pull the grill while attached to the stand, if you lift the handle too high the grill can easily become top heavy very quick and the grill will topple over.That being said, you are able to fold the legs and place the grill in a truck or SUV without having to take the grill off of the stand.So, some good and some tradeoffs.
Works great when setup for BBQ (the height is great particularly if the park requires it for fire safety) but handle to pull and transport is really ill-conceived. While the fold up handle is smart, had the engineers pulled this cart by the handle for any distance in actual testing, they'd see that it constantly hits the back of your calf or heel. As a result you have to hold the handle 'out' (which is cumbersome) from your body. Likewise if you're transporting a Webber Q2200 series on this, be sure to take out the easy to lose igniter and the drip tray as both are prone to rattling out.
