Nature's Bounty Zinc - 50 MG - 100 Caplets

I am relatively health and have no ailments which zinc is purported to treat. I purchased this for general immune health, and to see if it had any other beneficial effects.So far as I can tell, theres been no effect. Hard to judge something like this, since the effect is supposed to be long-term and indirect. But if you were looking for something that has an obvious, perceivable benefit, you wont find it here.

Ive had my dad on a Zinc, Vitamin C, Huereque, BlackSeed, and Alive multivitamin diabetic one, since November. I only started him on BlackSeed in April. But, it is now July 8 months And my dad is doing better than ever. He fought a very aggressive infection, with very strong antibiotics, back in January. Also he came up positi e for covid, 3 months in a row. He never got covid symptoms, at all. He has been in very good health diabetes considered♥︎

So I started taking this for acne. It definitely definitely definitely helped significantly. But I have to give it four stars because this can give you extreme nausea. Not nausea where you feel kinda dizzy or like the world is spinning but the type of nausea where actual food disgusts you so you can stomach anything without the urge to throw up. It’s a terrible feeling truly. The daily limit on zinc is around 40 mg so one tab of this daily is already going over the daily limit. Now that my skin is under control and I know what triggers it I will simply be throwing this far away from me into the trash

I have tried Zinc in many presentations and combined with other vitamins. I prefer to take it alone because that way I find the tablet with the dose I need. This one in particular has the dose I require, it doesn't leave a bad taste and the pill is small in size. I've been taking zinc and other vitamins for years, zinc is one of the most important supplements to support the immune system and it's booming now with the pandemic.

Zinc is so important to have for your body. Not only does it help boost and take care of your immune system, it helps faith protein production, and digestion. You could lose hair if you have a zinc deficiency and sis we don’t want that! If you don’t eat enough foods with zinc, or are looking for additional zinc, these are great. There’s no taste. Just take as directed on the bottle and shortly you’ll start feeling better. This is a vitamin/supplement staple for my household.

Excellent product!

I ordered this friend never haven't used it before but I thought for the price what the heck. I'm glad I bought it. It is a good friend and it delivers what it says it does zinc is very important for our immune system especially now with the covid-19 virus. Pair this up with some vitamin C vitamin D3 and zinc and a good multiple. I also take echinacea complex which is a bit different than just plain echinacea as it has burdock root and a couple other ingredients in it that help reinforce the immune system. I feel that zinc is one of the most important ones to take with vitamin D3. And I take at least 5,000 mg of D3 a day.

Great Price BUT Difficult to Swallow

It's just like other reviewers have said. "These have no coating, and start dissolving IMMEDIATELY when you put them in your mouth ... Very difficult to swallow, should be a coated pill due to its chalkiness sticking to the tongue ... Will not repurchase. I've never EVER had a problem swallowing any pill until this one. Now I have an entire bottle of Zinc that I will never use ... It's like trying to swallow chalk." Simply put, it should be coated or in capsule form.

Great brand easy to read ingredients

Nature's Bounty is a well-known brand and I have tried some of their other products with good results. I heard zinc is good for your immune system. I don't have health insurance so I don't go to the doctor very often because it's too expensive. So I need to take supplements to help my body fight off sickness. Since I had good luck before with this brand I thought I'd give zinc a try. Not bad 400 caplets for one bottle. That should last me a while. The other thing I like about this product and this company is a non-GMO north of the color no artificial flavor no artificial sweeteners. I'd like to be able to read the label and know exactly what's in my supplements or vitamins that I'm taking. These pills are easy to swallow no bad aftertaste. The caplets are very large & difficult to swallow

These are large and without a coating. I've tried all sorts of methods (lining it up at the back of my tongue, moistening my mouth first), but more than half the time, the pill gets stuck in my throat. I've tried to break the bill in half, but the sharp edges then get caught. I just looked - I couldn't find anywhere on the description that told the consumer about the size of the pill or caplet. That would have been helpful. I've tried for several weeks to make these work, but they don't. I was trying to take them as part of a vitamin regimen to address the beginning of macular degeneration. I will need to look elsewhere. And yes, I checked the medicine cabinet to make sure it was this same brand. It is. I do NOT recommend this product in its current state.

Many many people are not gettin enough zinc, because most people are not eating enough zinc-rich foods. Many of the best sources of zinc are animal products which means that vegetarians should seriously consider taking a supplement. We also eat way too many processed foods with very little nutrition. We eat too many carbs from sugary foods, again with little to no zinc or food value. In fact many of our "junk" foods block the absorption of zinc. Do your research or talk to your doctor. The amount of zinc in this product gives me confidence that on days that I many not eat enough zinc-rich foods I will be able to make up any shortage. It also assures me that I have an added component in my daily life to strengthen my ability to fight "the" virus.. Instead I set my daily dose in a small cup of water and let it dissolve. Then I put the dissolved tablet in my protein drink or something similar.
